We stayed for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. 

The hotel was clean, the staff were all friendly and helpful (a few are a bit eccentric but that added to the fun factor), and the food is surprisingly good for such a modest establishment.

Everything seems to close early on Jersey so be warned - most restaurants stop serving by 9pm.

At first the clutter and eclectic decoration seemed strange but after a couple of days it grew on me. I think there is a bit of a Faulty Towers vibe going on here, totally unintentionally, but it makes the whole place all the more endearing.

If you want a fun hotel in a quiet part of town, right on the waterfront then here it is!

Comfortable hotel right on the seafront

We stayed at here for 4 nights in September and loved it! All the staff - including the restaurant staff- were so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing and reasonably priced so we ate there every evening. The room (although decor and bathroom could do with a refresh- my only suggestion for improvement) was comfy with a good size fridge, wardrobe, hairdryer, iron and hot drinks facilities. We were lucky enough to have a sea view which was just stunning, The rooms were quiet and we slept well. 

The hotel is situated about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of St Hellier, which we found was quite nice as you didn’t get the hustle and bustle and noise. We could enjoy a relaxing stroll along the promenade and visit to the stunning Art Deco lido. 

We would definitely visit again!

Friendly, welcoming and relaxing

I have just finished my 5 day stay here in Jersey with my father, and the only negative feeling I have is that it is coming to a close.
Since we have arrived the stag have been courteous, friendly and helpful, above and beyond their job descriptions. The room was immaculate and well stocked with toiletries, and breakfast drinks.
Furthermore the food has been absolutely phenomenal every meal we've had, you ccam really see the love on the plate and as an ex chef I  really have to say I've been impressed here further than I ever have before.
I will be returning with friends next year and it will always be the Marina for me!
If pricing is a worry for you then never fear the whole trip has been reasonable beyond doubt, I'd have happily paid more without blinking! Thank you to all the staff for an amazing holiday I'll never forget!

The perfect stay.

Stayed five nights on a short trip to Jersey. The hotel was very clean and comfortable with our room overlooking the prom and the sea. The room was spacious with two twins with good matrices and quality linen and towels. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. A very good choice of menus all especially good value. The two main routes into town on foot are along the promenade and along the harbour taking around 25 minutes or up the hill for a shorter route.  There is a bus stop not far from the hotel that runs regularly at a very reasonable cost of £2.10 or a taxi back to the hotel at £5.10.  An excellent short break all round.

A hotel that is worth the visit

Lovely hotel very clean and comfortable and superb location right on sea front. Rooms spacious and comfortable. All staff really friendly and helpfull. Good choice of menus Al a carte especially good value for money. Would definitely recommend a visit.

1st class holiday.

We have never stayed here before and only chose it as not a lot left as was a bit of last minute holiday . 
We weren’t disappointed, went on the hottest day of the year and we had a sea view . Room was comfy and had everything you need for a small break . It was spotless and the maid was in everyday . Does need a little updating but we only used it to sleep in .

Last minutes 5 day break

Stayed here last week. Excellent from the minute we arrived to a warm welcome from Carolyn and Geoff right through until we checked out. 
All staff are so attentive and friendly taking time to have a chat but this did not interfere with their professional service. 
Food is excellent and rooms are very comfortable. 
Location is great for getting around Jersey and also for just sitting along the sea. 
Thankyou to everyone for a very enjoyable stay. 
Definitely will stay in Marina Metro next time.

Enjoyable stay in Marina Metro

A great hotel for quick stay in Jersey.  The staff were friendly and helpful.   The restaurant was clean and food was great...as was the view!  The manager went out of his way to assist me when I mistakenly booked for 2023!!! We will be back!!  Thx G!

May Jersey Stay

Just returned from a 3 night break at this great little hotel.  As other reviews have said the furniture was a little bit dated but the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable.  The staff are so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.  The hotel is set outside the main hustle and bustle of St Helier but it is in easy walking distance.  We loved the breakfast overlooking the sea.  Would we return? Yes we would!

Breakfast with a View

My father (aged 74) headed back the Jersey.  It was 40 years since his last visit.
I booked the Marina Metro Hotel for him as it was on the seafront.

Having returned from his trip my father reported the following:
*he loved the Marina Metro location I.e overlooking the sea
* he states that the breakfast was fabulous and set him up for a days sightseeing
* the bus is £2.40 to go anywhere on the island 👍
* the staff at the Marina Hotel were so so friendly and welcoming 
* my father enjoyed hearing the history of Jersey from the very knowledgeable barman in the Marina Metro (he says the beer was good too 😁

In fact, before I dropped my dad back to his house, he made sure and asked me to book more flights for later in the year 😁

I have to say, my dad returned to Northern Ireland with a beautiful coastal glow on his face.  He looked so healthy.  The break done him the world of good. 👍
