We stayed at the Longfrie Inn whilst visiting family. Can't fault it at all. Lovely and clean, everything you needed from toiletries to ironing board, iron and hairdryer. Beverages basket topped up each day. Breakfast was a great selection, we ate evening meal twice again great selection and all homemade. Wish we had booked an extra 2 nights. We stayed four nights. 

Fantastic stay

We stayed from 2/10/23 - 6/10/23 and couldn't fault anything about Longfrie Inn. From the clean and comfortable room with plenty of coffee ,hot chocolate , tea and biscuits fully replenished every day . To the very nice en suit where the shower gel , shampoo etc including a comb, tooth brush and tooth paste was also replenished every day. The breakfast menu was excellent - from cereal with fresh berries to the full English  all served with good coffee you could have anything you want and all served with a smile from the lovely waiters. We decided to eat in the  Hotel on three nights and once again there was a good varied menu. Our only disappointment was that we had only booked four night and would like to have stayed longer. Compliments to the resident owners and all the lovely staff. 


Happy days in Guernsey

Longfrie Inn, Is was charming, very clean, great food ,Comfy bed, Very welcoming, with good friendly  service from the staff. Could not fault Longfrie Inn. We will return and recommend it to others.  

Longfrie is a gem,

Having a room in the pub we decided to eat in the restaurant, not for the first time though.
A busy Saturday evening service was underway when we strode into the restaurant, we decided to have an apperitif at the bar prior to taking our seats, and duly at our reserved time we were colleced to take our seats at table.
The menu is not large as everything is cooked fresh, 
Crab abd prawn cocktail to start.............excellent and large for a starter.
followed by Padthai with chicken for the lady of the house which she couldnt finish and which was excellent. I had the house burger with chillis as a side, perfectly cooked and delicious and I'm not a big fan of burgers.
A nice bottle of Provence Rose to accompany the meal not the cheapest by far but ofgood quality.
A short wait between starter and main but that was appreciated.
Overall 10/10 
Excellent value, would we come again oh yes.

The Longfrie's food, just excellent.

What a lovely hotel, the hosts were amazing and were really helpful about different things we wanted to know.  The room we had was very clean, the bed was comfy and it was very quiet.  The breakfast was superb and filled us up for the day.
The Longfrie is ideally situated, with a car, or without.  We didn’t have a car, the bus routes were good, to either the coast or into St Peter Port, and not far from the airport - also on bus route.
A great friendly, welcoming atmosphere, unlike some hotels we have stayed in on Guernsey.
We would definitely come back here again, and would highly recommend a stay here.

Great stay

We spent a week at Longfrie.  There are 4 bedrooms in a quiet corridor of this popular eatery.  The room was spotless and comfortable and well stocked with hot drink sachets.  The breakfasts were amazing too.  Longfrie was served by four bus routes so we travelled over the island on our 'Puffin' pass

Great guesthouse

A great little Inn with very good staff and nice food at. a reasonable price. The room are very clean and have everything you need. The decor in the rooms are a little tired. A very pleasant stay close to the airport. and At Peters Port

Short stay

We took advantage of the air bridge with the Isle of Man for a 3 day trip. Booked the Longfrie on reviews and price and we were not disappointed. The rooms are comfortable and everything provided including your own kettle for a cuppa. Great breakfasts and the restaurant food was also very good. What makes the Longfrie a really good base are the owners and staff, really nice people. The local bus stop is right outside and also only 5 minutes on the bus from the airport. Each bus ride is only £1 and we used this to tour the island and pop into St Peter port which was about 30 mins bus ride away. 2 day bus pass was £8.50 pp, but this does not include the night bus from St Peter port, which was only £3. For the Longfrie, the (N3)night bus left the capital at 9.45pm, 11, & 12pm. During the day, take the 93 or 71 buses. Just waiting for our return flight home, and arrived early to walk from the airport to the German occupation museum (£3) which is excellent. Allow a good hour + to look around.

Nice Inn with a restaurant in the middle of Guernsey.

Seems a very popular place... we just decided we would have supper out rather last minute and were rather pleased and suprised, that we managed to book a table for two on a friday evening. Probably not the place I would go for a long lingering evening meal but perfect for what we wanted. So good pub food, with a nice atmosphere and friendy staff. Main course, a couple of drinks, a shared desert with tip literally came to £50.

Since my last visit the Inn has been upgraded to “A Delightful Pub Atmosphere”
The four us each chose a different plate and we were all impressed with the delicious plate
Highly recommended with first class service
On paying the Bill we were pleasantly surprised with a 30 per cent reduction as it was mid week
