We saw a 📺 programme on the Lost Gardens of Heligan and decided to visit. We found Bradleigh Lodge online and booked 4 nights. So glad I did. The hosts were charming, friendly and funny and put us in the lovely garden room, Number 4. It was amazing ~ unique, comfortable and an superb shower. Breakfasts were most enjoyable and Cath was very cheeky but needed reminding about the toast! BL was an ideal base for visiting Heligan nanda the Eden Project. We had a most enjoyable and memorable holiday in St Austell.

Cornish adventure

Just back from a 3 night stay at Bradleigh Lodge. We were lucky enough to stay in the Hi Five room which was one of the nicest rooms we’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom was beautifully done from the lovely roll top bath to the fluffy dressing gowns. There was everything we needed in this room including a kitchen with complimentary milk and a variety of teas and coffee. This room was so cosy and the bed very comfy. Lots of information on the surrounding areas was provided. Martin and Lynn were very friendly and accommodating. Lots to do in the area. Managed to cram a lot in. We would highly recommended a stay in this gem of a Lodge. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely comfy stay

Bradleigh Lodge was an absolute delight for a week's holiday! We felt at home as we were given a very warm welcome by Lynn - she is an amazing hostess. She was very knowledgeable of the local area and gave us great advice on places to visit. Cheerful Kath would start our mornings with a freshly prepared breakfast. It was a joy to meet Lynn and Kath who made our holiday extra special. Alban & Genny

This is such a lovely place to stay.  Attention to detail, high standards everywhere and a very friendly welcome all make it feel a special place to be.  Easy stroll into St.Austell and a walk down to Charlestown.  Or both are minutes away in the car.   

We were greeted with a cup of tea in the lovely garden, which was just what we needed to calm down a bit after a long and tiring journey.   

Room was lovely, very clean too.  A comfy bed, great shower, the softest, fluffiest towels…

Breakfast in the sun lounge was first class

Great find

Hi Bradleigh lodge is adequate in each dept. I think it should be about £15 a night cheaper as £110 pp pn without breakfast i feel is a tad pricey for what's on offer. Having said that the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean our ensuite had a sign on the door size doesn't matter well actually it does ours was very small . we were passing through but it is well sited for visiting the area and you do get parking on site which is always a plus.

does what it says

Set back from the main road, this is a very friendly and spotlessly clean place to stay whilst visiting the St Austell area. We stayed for 5 nights. We were made to feel welcome by Lyn and she went out of her way to make our stay special, nothing is too much trouble for her and her staff. The breakfasts are all freshly cooked with plenty of choice and Lyn is always ready for a friendly chat and advice on where to go. The beds are comfortable and the shower is powerful. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this as a base for exploring the area. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Mevagissey are a short drive away and St Austell town centre is a 10 minute walk away. Very friendly clean B and B

I picked this bed and breakfast with a lot of thought about what our wanted for my parents, i was not dissapointed with my choice.This is a lovely family run property.  We stayed in rooms 1 and 2 which have doors opening to the garden, and are next to one another. The garden is perfect to come back to after being out visiting local attractions and just relax. A get away with Elderley Parents

We received a lovely warm welcome from Martin one of the owners, our room was lovely and was decorated to a very high standard. we met martin's wife Lynn when she introduced her self at breakfast on the Monday morning. Breakfast was excellently presented and always nicely cooked. we had tea coffee and hot chocolate in our room as well as biscuits and chocolates.  although when we arrived we were strangers when we left it was as friends. wouldn't think twice about staying here again. last minute get away

Had a wonderful short stay at Bradleigh Lodge. The room was bijou but lovely. Lynn/Martin the owners were fantastic & really enjoyed chatting to them about the house & the surrounding area. Breakfasts were excellent & really set us up for the day. Would highly recommend a stay at Bradleigh Lodge.

The hostess Radka was extremely cheery and helpful. Her breakfasts were wonderful and set us up for the day. Our room had patio doors looking out onto a lovely manicured garden complete with fountain. Radka informed us of the amenities in the area. We enjoyed our stay and would return.
