Not good value at nearly £100 for the night. My room was tatty, smelt of damp. The bed was comfortable though. 
The receptionist in the afternoon was surly and unhelpful. The receptionists in the morning were very friendly 

Make sure you don't order breakfast when booking a room. It will be the takeaway box

Tired and tatty

What more do you need... ideally situated in the heart of Cornwall and half the price of most places...  oh and we stayed in a pet friendly room...  

We found the room clean and tidy and the staff really pleasant and helpful... talking of which... a big thank you for posting back my child's soft toy... you're a star.... :-)

Travelodge manager to the rescue...

The room and general public areas were clean and tidy and staff friendly and helpful. On arrival and for the most part of our holiday it rained but the room was warm and the facilities meant we could dry our wet clothes easily in our room, and extra towel was provided on request, thank you.

Brief couple of days

Every thing at the hotel was very good clean an well maintained pub attached food was lovely only criticism was our neighbours very noisy not hotels fault tho room smelt fresh and was very clean I would stay again 

One night stay

Stayed on a brief two day holiday to Cornwall. Conveniently close to the Eden Project. The hotel is adjacent to a pub (The Victoria) where we ate breakfast and an evening meal, food good quality and cheap.

It is a budget hotel and none the worse for that but great value and like all the Travelodge’ sim which we stayed, the staff were pleasant, helpful, professional and friendly.

A wonderful stay.

Sadly our room was on main Rd side and next to the Victoria pub.
Staff took their cigarette breaks outside our window, not the best, view was pub bin yard,main Rd.
For quick ,cheap stop ..room clean.

Building and staff all good.

Very much the basic accommodation which for the price charged was expensive. Overall this place seemed tired compared to other Travelodges and could do with a revamp. If you do stay here at least you can get a decent meal next door

During my stay in Travelodge Bodmin Roche,I was dissapointed about follows issues:
Carpet smells hard(cigarette smoke)
No soap in dispensar
TV remote controlar no was working properly
Stains in the Bathroom
Dust behind and under Tv

Service dogs are treated as pets so you have to pay for them

The only dogs that you don't pay for is guide and hearing dogs so like me my two service dogs are for PTSD from military service and a brain tumour don't count which on a low income and benefits is very problematic 
So any travelling with service dogs find another place to stay otherwise it will be costly and you will find the staff very unhelpful and sympathetic to your needs.

This follows a 7 night stay at this particular Travelodge. I have stayed at numerous Travelodges without complaint. If you are thinking of staying at this establishment for holidaying purposes I would rethink your choice. Simple things were missing from the room, such as coat hooks to hang up a wet coat. The only dedicated seating in the room was one plastic desk type chair, to be shared between two guests. There was no comfortable seating supplied at all. There was no beside table/cabinet to put an alarm clock, pair of spectacles, glass of water, or a book you may be reading whilst in bed. There was no light either side of the bed that you could read by without disturbing a partner who may wish to sleep. No drinking glasses were supplied to have a simple glass of water or to be used when having a soft drink other than to drink straight from its bottle. There was no bath mat or similar to stop the bathroom floor from getting wet and slippy after taking a bath or shower. The shaver point/light in our bathroom did not work. Though reported to reception both on the day of booking in and again the next day, with an assurance it would be seen to. After a 7 night stay it was in exactly the same condition when we left as it was when we arrived - not working...
