We spent a week in Hedgerow cottage as an extended family of 8. The cottage was very spacious and it’s layout suited us perfectly. 3 bedrooms and a bathroom lead off from each end of the open plan kitchen/living room, so 2 families could have their own area. Good sound proofing so you feel separate. The decor was a bit tired and could do with a clean - many spider webs were present, but this may be because it hadn’t been occupied for several months due to Covid. The beds were very comfy. The kitchen had all you could need. The separate children’s room with its own tv was very useful and the chalk board was a nice touch. The conservatory is large and the patio is very pleasant, with a view of the alpacas. 

The grounds are lovely. My children loved seeing the cats, pigs, chicken, geese, dogs, doves and alpacas. There is a secret garden and a boardwalk over a stream to explore. Hedgerow cottage is ideally situated slightly away from the other cottages so felt very private. Good parking is available. 

There is a small field for ball games along with a reading room and toy room. There is a laundry area where you are charged £3 to wash and £5 to dry your clothes. 

The area is lovely. We spotted dolphins many times. Aberporth is a nice family friendly resort only 5 min drive away. The fish and chip shop on the main road to Cardigan serves delicious food. There is a well stocked food shop in the garage at the top of the driveway, a 5 min walk away. 

Overall a lovely stay. 

Spacious cottage in peaceful location

We stayed in Hedgerow between Christmas and New Year as a large family group of mixed ages. There’s something for everyone here! The cottage was lovely - very well equipped, refurbished to a high standard and very clean and comfortable. The dining space was fantastic as it allowed everyone to be seated together. The conservatory also has a table as well as sofas, so that was great for playing board games or for the children to do colouring etc. The log burner was a real treat. 
The site is great - it has a playroom, secret garden and playing field all of which we were able to use despite it being winter. There are also animals on site, including pigs and alpacas, which the children enjoyed feeding.
The owners were very helpful before our visit in suggesting configurations of beds that were ideal for us. When we arrived, we were met by Cora who was very welcoming, helpful and kind. 
Gorslwyd is set in a lovely area of west Wales and we enjoyed walks at some stunning beaches including Aberporth, Treasaith, Llangrannog and Poppit Sands. 
Would highly recommend.

Great place for a family holiday

The Gorslwyd farm cottages were the base for a family gathering to celebrate my 70th birthday. It was just the most perfect venue imaginable. The properties housed my parents and our grandchildren with an age range of nearly 90 years. There was plenty to do on site, whether strolling around the tranquil gardens and wooden walkway or playing cricket on the playing field. For wet times, thankfully we only had brief periods, there was space and plenty of indoor games.
The cottages were clean and superbly equipped for all our needs. To top everything Jenni and her son prepared and served a wonderful 5 course birthday meal for all 22 of us. The portions were so generous we had ample for the next day's evening meal.
Most days were spent on one of the wonderful beaches that are within 20 minutes of the cottages, so there was always something for everyone to do whether to exercise or relax. A few of us also benefitted from a sound therapy session. All of my family have written to say what a great place and how they enjoyed every aspect of their visit.
You can be assured that Jenni and Ali will make you feel welcome and help you to enjoy all that this beautiful corner of Wales has to offer. If you are considering this area then you won't find anywhere more delightful.

Incredible family time

As a qualified holistic therapist I am ashamed to admit that I knew nothing about sound healing. We booked a room at Gorslwyd Farm simply because we needed to stay in that area. But obviously it was meant to be. Fist of all we were upgraded to a cottage which happen to be very clean, cosy and well equipped place. Secondly we discovered that Gorslwyd Farm was a different place or as they say themselves "holiday with a difference". And what a wonderful difference it is! My husband and I had a treatment with Jenni and it was nothing I personally ever experienced before. I really need to write a composition to be able to describe it all. My advice is simply. If you have a chance, book a treatment or series of treatments to make your wishes and dreams come true. Jenni and Ali who run the place are not only very friendly and helpful but very professional in what they do. We are going there again and I am sure it is going to be our "thing". Thank you Jenni and Ali! And see you soon!

Magical

Without any real plan we stumbled across the sound healing centre online on New Year’s Eve, we called them to see if they would be able to accommodate us on such short notice, it was not a problem at all, within an hour we arrived and they had put the heating on in our cottage ready for us. The cottage was immaculate and felt really homely. The owner was so friendly and we couldn’t believe how lucky we were not to only find somewhere on such short notice but on New Year’s Eve as well. The even offered us a time a lot for a gong bath in the morning which was just the best way to start the new year off. The studio was so impressive and we were made to feel really comfortable for what was to be our first gong bath. Everything was explained. I feel awful for leaving it so long to review, but as you can see the experience stayed with us. Thank you again! 

Meant to be

Fantastic place with lovely accommodation, welcoming atmosphere and great for kids. We stayed in Willow which was really high quality inside and the kids loved feeding the animals. The location is great too as is was close to all our favourite beaches.

A hidden gem

We needed to escape the real world for a while! Cowslip cottage was perfect for our little family, two bed rooms bathroom with bath and a powerful shower, Set in the corner of the farm. We arrived late at night so it was a real treat to get up and explore, we found walkways over a duck filled pond, chickens, doves, pigs, alpacas, cats and 4beautiful dogs! Along with fairy gardens children's play shed, and and adult sun room ideal for reading, a play field for the children and a big paddock for our dog to run free.. a chapel and a round house in the making! Perfection! The lovely jenni and Ali understand what people are after, and boy they deliver! 

I enjoyed a sound bath, you should give this a try it's amazing, relaxing and grounding. Jenni is a talented lady. 

We visited 3 beaches no more that ten minutes away, two nation trust. the small town of Newcastle Emlyn is beautiful, and cardigan is just down the road. 

A lovely pub at the end of the lane just over the main road. And The Ship in overlooking the beach at Tresaith won't disappoint. 

We will be back I'm sure of it thank you for a wonderful stay.

A special place

I stayed here with my family (wife and two children aged 4 and 2) for four nights at the end of August.

Firstly the accommodation was spotless and spacious (we stayed in Celandine).

The farm was amazing for the kids they absolutely loved going to feed the pigs.  There were also added extras we hadn't noticed on booking - a boardwalk, massive play house and a five aside football pitch.  They loved running around.

The location is great off the main road and with great access to the lovely beaches in the area.

Very friendly welcome - and the most amazingly friendly cats who didn't even run from young children.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully return one day
