Stayed here on a single room basis for 1 night as I was attending a football match in Middlesbrough.
The hotel is in a quiet location 5 minutes walk from Eaglescliffe train station which is 2 stops away from Middlesbrough train station.
The room was basic but suited all my needs-comfortable bed,freeview tv and tea/coffee facilities and a decent shower/bathroom. Price was very reasonable, staff made me feel welcome and the breakfast was very nice indeed. Would recommend, especially if you are attending a match in Middlesbrough or would prefer a quieter location than the city centre. Would recommend, thank you!!

Nice hotel in quiet location

Lovely double en suite - had a bath with shower over (which I prefer to a shower )in the large bathroom & breakfast was included for only £45.
Room was cosy & warm, plenty of tea coffee hot chocolate etc. The bed was incredibly comfortable with gorgeous crisp clean dazzling white sheets - I didn't want to get up.
The owner was on reception when I arrived, she couldn't have been more friendly & helpful.
Highly recommended & excellent value for money - 2 thumbs up

4* comfort at 2* price

excellent hotel, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and very helpfull, close too eaglescliffe station and yarm town which has plenty of bars and restaurants. would definately stay again and the sportsman pub of which is a minute walk away from the hotel. 

well worth the money

I stayed here when in Stockton on business.  The room was clean, comfortable and although a little small, it had everything I needed.  The owner was very friendly and accommodated a late arrival from a colleague, who was also staying here.

The breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and freshly cooked to order which is harder to find with buffet breakfasts becoming the norm.

Wonderful Breakfasts!

Rooms were very clean and suitable for our 2 night stay. One of the double rooms even had a sofa. Great breakfast and can recommend the sunnyside grill to everyone. Would definitely stay again when in town.
