The Applegarth is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Minutes away by foot to all the shops, restaurants and theatres. We had the front room with the bay window and it was immaculately clean. A large all white bathroom that was very clean and supplied with the loveliest toiletries. I still have my hand cream that I love. The owner was very nice, helpful and offered all the city maps and hop on hop off schedules. The on site parking was a bonus. As was the biscuits with the in-room coffee/tea supplies. Being from Canada, we loved the “English B & B” vibe. I would highly recommend the Applegarth 🍎 

Location location cleanliness !!

Great location minutes away from town. Alan and his wife were very happy to help with all our questions we had. 
we arrived to a splendid greeting from Alan. The rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. If I had 1 constructive comment to make it would be the shower - Not very powerful so my Mrs struggled to wash her long hair due to the lack of water pressure would be much better if they ran from the Combi boiler. Would I stay here again most certainly 


Birthday celebration weekend 

Have just spent a night here in order to see a play at RSC. I took a taxi from station but could have walked in about 25 minutes (I walked back today as I had very little luggage and it wasn't raining). It's less than 10 minutes from RSC and is quite safe to walk back to at night after a performance. The single room was very clean and quiet and I had a bathroom for my own use just across the corridor. They don't serve breakfast but there are places within easy walking distance - I went to Carluccio's today. If I need to stay in Stratford again I will return.

Very convenient for RSC

I had a lovely en suite room and even though it was overlooking the main road, I didn't experience traffic noise. Spotlessly clean too.  Very comfortable bed. Fridge, Tea and coffee with fresh milk (when asked for) which to my mind gives The Applegarth 5*  - who wants UHT in their tea! A short walk to the shops and the theatre.  The Applegarth doesn't serve breakfast but quite frankly I was so delighted to  have fresh milk for my cuppa that this didn't bother me at all. Will certainly stay here again for my next theatre trip.  Superb stay.

Superb stay

Great litte guest house / hotel very central in Stratford. Very clean, nice bed with kettle fridge and en-suite toilet and shower. 
It doesn’t do breakfast or meals but theres loads of bars, restaurants and cafe’s nearby.

We were nicely welcomed by the owner as we arrived and was given info and a map of the city which was very helpful. 

There’s parking and it takes about 3 mins to walk into town, just a stones throw from everything. No complaints here. You won’t be dissapointed.I’d recommend this.

1 night at the Applegarth

Stayed for one night, no breakfast.  Room was lovely, nice and clean and very comfortable bed.  Did not get any noise from the nearby main road, double glazing took care of that.  Lovely big shower and powerful too.  There is parking there, but a bit tricky getting in and out of the parking area on to the main road as the property is on a one way street.  Close to bars, shops and restaurants and of course the theatre.
