Clean, and tidy, what you expect from a Premier Inn! Some of the reviews on here I think are unwarranted. It's a Premier Inn. And we received the service and standard we expect from them. Welcoming staff. Cracking breakfast. Yes a little tired but it's was comfortable. Yes the corridors are up and down and unorthodox but it's quirky.
We will definitely stay in this one again if we're in the Stratford area. 

The standard you expect from a Premier Inn! 

What was supposed to be a lovely trip to Stratford upon Avon, to take in some history and have an easy nights sleep at this hotel turned into a nightmare. Once we’d navigated the labyrinth that was the hotel halls, we arrived at our room to a stinking bathroom and no toilet paper. The room itself was fine but quite dirty. Nevertheless we were gonna stick it out as it was pouring rain outside, that was until we found bedbugs on our bed crawling all over the place. We rushed out of the room cleaning ourselves off and down to reception, where a complete lack of urgency or seriousness was seen. They offered us another room and I found myself in another one, stripping down the sheets searching for any evidence of other bugs while the hotel staff just stood there but in the end we were not satisfied in the cleanliness of the new room so we had to drive home in the middle of night during a flood. 

Bedbugs and no refund

The usual format really. Room was clean and tidy, bed was comfy etc. There is no onsite parking but we got a space opposite at the Red Lion pub. At least some of this building must be quite old as the inner layout is confusing with mini stair cases within floors. We took a lift but still had to use stairs so if access is a concern then maybe phoning ahead would be a good idea. We had a brekkie there and again usual format. All in all we had a nice stay.

Usual format

Firstly driving to the hotel its bang on a main road you cant park directly outside. You wouldnt even know its there its just a single door, it isnt clear thats the enterance. 
Next you walk into not the reception but 3 flights of stairs or an extremely poor lift that dosnt take two people so if you have health issues expect to walk the stairs. I do have health issues I tried to use the lift and itcwas extremely slow. You have to hold the button for the lift to come down and then hold it again to go up. Slowest lift ever and really annoyed me at this premier inn. Check in slightly confusing there is no reception the check in desk is a next to restaurant so looks like the desk for going into restaurant. Our room was made up to single beds even though we booked double. It was changed but single duvets were dumped under the bed. Staff are friendly and breakfast was lovely. 
Location is a quick walk to town so great. 

Accessibility poor!

Finding your room is a bit like taking part in the gameshow "The Crystal Maze!" After climbing 4 flights of stairs to the reception area, (where we discovered the check-in machine was not working and there was a queue of 5-6 people waiting to be checked in), we then had to walk along several corridors of undulating floors to a lift. We then had to go down the on the lift for 2 floors and then continue our journey through the winding corridors until we arrived at our room. 
The air-conditioning fan was loud and we had to turn it off. The extractor fan in the bathroom was extremely loud but only came on when you switched on the bathroom light, When the taps were turned on the bathroom, there was a VERY loud banging sound from the pipework. The TV control did not work easily, it possibly required new batteries.
The Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well situated for the centre of Stratford on Avon. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

This Premier Inn is tired and not up to the usual standards of a Premier Inn

Whilst a comfortable room, you virtually need a step ladder to get up on the bed! Breakfast was fine. It was a few hundred yards from RSC. The bar was open after 10pm whereas the pub opposite, also owned by Whitbread closed at 10pm.

Not greast for disabled person

The staff were friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good value for money. The front of the building needs some attention it was very tired and scruffy it could easily put people of staying but once you get into the building and reception area everything was satisfactory. First impressions is a must if you want people coming back to stay. It’s only 5minute walk to all amenities and lovely walks along the camel. 
Couldn’t fault the staff they were all friendly.

Good night sleep.

This Premier Inn is brilliant.  All the staff were so friendly and helpful.  The location is really central, very close to the town, river and Royal Shakespeare Theatre.  Breakfasts were very good quality.  Our stay was such good value for money too.

Basic premier inn. Advised to eat my evening meal over the road at the Red Lion pub, this is also the car park for the hotel, £12 for 24 hours. Meal at the pub was lovely and breakfast at the hotel was fine. Use the lift up to reception as it’s a few flight of stairs up!

This Premier Inn is very run down. My room (228) had a curtain rail that was much smaller than the window. Therefore light came in all the time and woke me early in the morning. There was no slip mat for the bath, the chair was broken and the lamp shade was threadbare. The lift is not fit for purpose so very difficult to get suitcase up the stairs.
