We have stayed in similar hotels over several years, taking advantage of the 3 day Christmas package. I can honestly say that this was  in almost all respects the most enjoyable stay so far. The staff were unfailingly courteous and obliging. Food was very good, varied and served promptly but without  undue haste,  Our bedroom was immaculately clean, well equipped and had very good storage space. The Manager, always available and attentive, is to be congratulated on his leadership of the team.

The limitations on access for people with any reduced mobility was a disadvantage for us older guests. There is no central lift and the stair lift down to The Brasserie we found uncomfortably public to use so managed the steps with some trepidation. Sadly that is the reason we shall be unable to return.

While we were aware that dogs could be accommodated we were disappointed to find them in the dining room. 



Excellent hotel in so many ways but access for guests with reduced mobility needs to be addressed.

We arrived at this property today the hotel was closed, we had a booking with hotels.com, no one had bothered to tell us it was closed so we are now faced with finding a different hotel last minute at a much more expensive rate, this is totally unacceptable!. Do not book for this hotel!..

Stayed here for a birthday party weekend. What a gorgeous hotel right in the centre of the town. The food was fantastic. Everything was perfect but what made it exceptional were the staff, Christian, Emma and Alex. What a lucky hotel to have Alex! She is simply the best.

Gorgeous boutique hotel

I have stayed in a few places in Stratford, but I certainly think this is the best.  Kim and his team run a great place to stay, and cannot do enough to make your stay perfect.  Breakfast was delicious with a mix of table service and help yourself.  Our room was lovely with a wonderful bathroom.  Will certainly stay here again next time we are in Stratford.

Best place to stay in Stratford

Having stayed several times at the hotel, we booked the Arden House on a blustery weekend in Stratford. Parking isn’t great (although you can in the hotel and it’s a 5 minute walk away). We were met by Laurie, who was an excellent host and very helpful. Rooms were cosy and well equipped (no hot drinks in the room, which is a bit continental and annoying!). The house is a B&B so don’t expect anything otherwise (limited bar for example) but is quiet and cosy, and only a few minutes walk from Stratford. The breakfast was excellent and service good. So if you want a bit of piece and quiet, it’s ideal really. Worth a shout

Away from the hustle and bustle....

We have stayed here numerous times before under the old and  new ownership . This was the worst room we have had. Small and hot even with the windows open. Cluttered even with two cabin bags. Bathroom unbelievable small. The shower basin and toilet rammed into a tiny space. I’m a small person but had to exit sideways. 
Asked for a change of room but told fully booked and we had a ‘cosy’ room. Just not good enough for £150 per night. The limitations of the room and the great differences in the standard of the double rooms should be made clear. I would not have booked this one.
Very disappointing. I was so looking forward to our stay.

Very disappointing room.

This is a lovely Boutique hotel in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. It is perfectly situated within very easy walking distance of all the main attractions and restaurants that Stratford-upon-Avon has to offer. There is also a small car park to the rear of the property. 
All of the staff we met were lovely, so helpful and friendly, they couldn’t do enough to help. 
There is a nice relaxing lounge area with a small bar. There are facilities for tea and coffee along with biscuits and snacks. You can consume these in the lounge area or use the takeaway cups to take back to your room. 
Our double room was cosy, clean and comfortable. There was a desk with fruit and bottled water along with an information folder and a flat screen tv above. Fluffy bathrobes and Espa toiletries in the shower room. There was a large walk in shower and soft close toilet seat and bin. 
We had the turndown service which was a nice touch too. 
Breakfast consisted of a buffet selection of fruit, compote, yogurt, cereal and juice to help yourself too. Additionally you can select a hot choice (full English breakfast, omelette etc) from the menu along with toast and tea or coffee and a smoothie. 
The breakfast was delicious, staff were attentive and service excellent. 
We would stay here again.

Great B&B in close proximity to the town centre.
Lovely welcome by the house manager with a great run through of the honesty bar, 24hr coffee and room. Also did a great job of booking our dinner reservation.

Had lovely room at top of the house with very comfy bed and clean shower room.

Best part was the breakfast the next morning. The choice of hot breakfasts was extensive but the full english didn’t disappoint.

Great B&B hotel with excellent breakfast

Lovely hotel, comfy beds, great location, nice breakfast and friendly staff but loud noise and vibration  like doors banging till late at night and starts again early in the morning! Which is disappointing as otherwise perfect hotel. 


Lovely hotel but not a peaceful sleep 

My wife and I booked a room at this beautiful and gorgeous House. Nothing disappointed us from the greeting at the door to showing us around the house. The room was beautiful, warm and cosy. The bed was so comfortable, bath robes, everything was just perfection. Complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits. Our breakfast was superb. All of the staff so polite and helpful. Just a short walk from the centre of town. 
It was my birthday and wanted to stay close to the centre. I had a fantastic birthday and our accommodation was perfect.
