The apartment was spacious, airy well equipped and spotlessly clean. Having driven for 4 hours to get there and looking forward to a five hour drive home the following day it was great to have such a fantastic pad to call home for the night. Whilst on such a short stay we didn't get to use most of the stuff there it was nice to know it was there if required. Heating was off when we got there but only took about 10 mins for it to be warm as toast. Beds were comfortable and the whole apartment was really well decorated and welcoming. Fantastic! I will be back. It is an apartment for short rentals in our case just one night so don't be put off by the "not sures" below. Being so central had plenty of options for food and drink opportunities so the lack of any provided by the location was not an issue. Stadium of light 15 mins walk the main area for clubs /pubs only 10 minutes.

Lovely visit

Was on a quick break with 2 teenagers shopping in Newcastle and looking for self catering apartment. Contacted Hackett property dealt with Haley who gave us lots of information and assured us that our stay would be comfortable. The 2 bed apartment exceeded our expectations. Everything was so comfortable and modern with every item you could ask for in a kitchen or home. The wifi was great. The welcome breakfast pack plus bottles of water courtesy of Hackett property a bonus. Bedrooms and bathrooms meticulously clean with nice towels and toiletries. So many places I have visited have such basic supplies and comforts that made this such a pleasant stay. The cleaning g staff came in when we were there and my word do they know how to operate. Would I stay again? For sure yes the apartment was beautiful, safe and had everything. Hackett property were so professional to deal with and would highly recommend them. 

Beautiful apartment in centre of Sunderland 

We loved the apartment, it is modern, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Located in the city center surrounded by restaurants, shops and all kind of public transport. Beds were wonderful, wifi is for free, and kitchen is very well equipped. We highley recommend this place, for business and private appropriate

Lovely apartment!

We  were  so  impressed  with  hawksley  House.  We  were  on  a " roots"  trip  in  Sunderland  and  we  stayed  at  Hawksley  House  for  3  nights.  We  took  2  apartments--myself, my  daughter,  and  2  sons 
The  apartments  are  fully  serviced,  very spacious  and  beautifully  equipped.  The  location  on  John  Street  is  very  central.  The  building  managers  are  the  cream  of  the  crop--pleasant  and  efficien t.  They  are  most  helpful  and  all  requests  are  met  with  a  smile--I  do  not  exaggerate.
I  would  recommend  this  facility  to  any  person  seeking  ist  class  serviced  apartments  at  a  fair  price.

The  best  of  the  best

I am a contractor working in the north east an often stay in reasonably priced accommodation. I heard about Hawksley through a friend and stayed their with my partner when she visited and will now stay nowhere else if Im in the area. Clean modern well equipped apartment with a really central location.
