This property is vacant possession & Agoda took our money knowing this. There is a chartered surveyors number on the board across the window when I called them they gave me the information about vacant possession. ‭01792 648809‬ Call them to see for yourself.

SCAM VACANT PROPERTY

I booked this hotel for my partner to stay at whilst visiting family for the night. When he arrived at the hotel it was abandoned there was no body in the building. Beds were in there without mattresses. 

I spent £54.17 on a room here and no one was there the hotel has gone under and there is no way you can get a refund of your money. Doors were locked up. 

If youre looking to stay here I wouldnt bother its a waste of money.

URGENT PLEASE READ!

Booked and paid online through online agent this hotel has been closed since pre covid 19 lockdown. Locked up with to Let sign outside. Did manage to get full refund but it is still being advertised on their website! But instead of paying them you pay on arrival. Several other people arrived who had booked and paid in advance.

Hotel Closed!!!

I saw this "hotel" on Four in a Bed - but they had SO dressed it up!
No reception staff - no one to contact with problems or issues - as the phone is answered by someone in the FAR EAST!
Slept in the basement room - dreadful smell in bathroom.
Could not sleep for all the noise of guests coming in and going out.
The cleaner - at the time - came and cleaned the bathroom/toilet and used the same cloth for the furniture in the bedroom!
The nearby place where breakfast was served might have been fine for the TV filming but was appalling in reality - so also other nearby places where I had to leave a place without eating the food was SO poor.

WHITE WASH AT THE WHITE HOUSE

Given the pictures of the rooms and description on booking.com I was surprised at the cheap price. When we arrived I realised you get what you pay for. No issue with code access or finding room key in key box. Not having a reception wasn’t an issue either and on street parking was fine off season. We were visiting daughter at uni for a couple of days so location was ideal. The room
Itself was tired and needed a make over. Primark bedding, grey Asda towels, pillows as flat as pancakes, a spongy mattress that needed replacing and dodgy wallpaper. The bedside table was a floating shelf barely attached to the wall. There were 2 mismatched mugs for tea and one was chipped. There was only one tea bag between two of us for a 2 night stay. We bought tea and milk the next day. They did attempt to service the room before 9am by trying the lock without even knocking. Needless to say we asked them to come back later and never did. There were no toiletries in the bathroom, not even hand soap but it was clean and the shower was hot. We didn’t spend hardly any time in the room so it was ok as a budget place to kip for a couple of nights but I personally would prefer a Travelodge which is similar in price. The location to the bars/restaurants in Uplands and uni accommodation was its saving grace. I’d think twice before booking this place again. 

You get what you pay for 

Accommodated for 2 nights, the room for three people is large enough, details such as being able to have a coffee & cookies (by the way very good) in the morning are appreciated, and free water bottles. The cleaning is very good, little noise from other rooms. Upon arrival we were given the codes for the main door and the keys, but when we left we didn't see the owners.

This is stupid!

Had a great experience at this hotel, Bodacious salvaged a dreadful situation from me being booked into other accommodation also named the White House but this was the opposite of White.  I called the helpline and the Bodacious agent grasped the seriousness of my situation and transferred my reservation to the White House Hotel.  What a difference, the porter rang me to make sure I could find the hotel, the basement room was spacious, luxurious, great en-suite bathroom.  So handy for local restaurants and shops and one mile from the City Centre and coast.

Whiter than White

Here for work and will never return, the attitude is wrong, the only pleasant occurrence was the other guests. Horrendous if I could give a zero I would. Would not listen due to rooms already paid for, and the " you don't pay for the room your boss does" isn't really good service. Well guess what my boss doesn't book attitude, as you'll see in next weeks bookings.

Disgusting

Visiting Swansea for a friend's charity event. Was told I could pay on arrival to then be rudely spoken to on the morning of my check in by what I could only assume was admin staff, stating I "hadn't paid", when I explained that I was told I could pay on arrival, I recieved an ubrupt response after several minutes of silence and the receptionist hung up. Telephone reception staff were rude and abrupt, that's when they were available to answer the phone. Upon arrival at 4.30pm the door was open and I went inside "reception", as it can be loosely called, which was closed. Shutter locked tight with no one around to help or direct me to parking let alone checking in. I decided I had to move my car off the double yellow lines out front and went in search of a space on the busy residential street. When I returned the frontdoor was then shut and locked. I tried calling the numbers on the front door and website but they were either sent straight to an automated "no one can take your call" or "this number isn't recognised". A positive start. After waiting 40 minutes, numourous phone calls and a very angry email I finally had someone respond to my email with a correct emergency number because they "had noticed me sitting outside in the security cameras" . So much for "reception is open 9am to 10pm".
I finally got in and thought I'd faced the worst of it. Room seemed pleasant and tidy, despite stains on curtains and shaby looking carpets. 
I asked for late check out as a way of an apology for what happened so far to which they reluctantly agreed. 
In the morning the cleaning staff came to clean my room at 10am (the usual check out time) and seemed surprised when I said I had late check out. I then attempted to use the bathroom facilities. Water barely ran from the shower and wasnt even hot despite both settings up on full. Toilet had no pull handle to flush so had to use the chain itself.
After finally getting hold of a receptionist by phone (because once again the reception down stairs was closed) she didn't even seem phased about my complaint of no shower facilities working. As if it was common knowledge. Certainly not what I had paid for. She then said that "the manager will email me about my complaints" however when I asked if she even had my email her response was "well we have your number". We'll that's great, how are you expecting to email me then. If I'm honest I couldn't wait to leave. I have been offered "the best room next time I stay" but if I'm honest I'd much rather not risk having the same experience twice. The only positives was the bed was comfortable and the guy who took my call genuinely seemed apologetic as he had taken my booking, came in to the hotel to check me in despite being off sick from work. Management need to seriously rethink their advertising if you're not going to have on site staff/ anyone to answer the phones.

Very clean, comfy bed.Craig at reception was very helpful, including getting our tablet on wifi which we never seem able to do, he was also a great laugh! Would recommend.Good shower, garden at front with bench overlooking road to smoke!
