We had a lovely 2 night stay, our two sausage dogs were very welcome, we drank complementary gin and tonic gazing at the open fire. An excellent pub in the village, and lots to do in the surroundings - Hawkstone Park Follies and Much Wenlock our particular favourites.

Very dog friendly, very people friendly

Set in a quiet shropshire village, gorgeous Georgian house. Lovely rooms with great period touches. The owner was very welcoming. Dogs amply catered for. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Simply beautiful

A wonderful stay for us celebrating my wife's birthday. Sandie the host was warm, friendly and made us feel immediately at ease. 
A lovely guest house and location with all the required facilities. Also a safe and large garden for our two dogs. We only paid an extra £5 each for our two Beagles (amazing option) which is donated to a local dogs charity! 
A lovely, picturesque and quiet village location. Also a healthy walk to a lovely local pub with a great quality menu and extensive range of drinks. Free parking to rear and nothing too much trouble. Will definitely return. Lots to do within a reasonable drive.

Perfect couples getaway

Had a good nights sleep here but the decor is really tacky and the place could do with a spruce (why so many mirrors, and motivational pictures?). The kettle in the room was full of limescale and it has no filter, very unusable. The breakfast is really small and overpriced but tasted nice at least. For what you get, the room is overpriced, the television is also really tiny and the wifi would not connect well. Would be good to indicate that feather pillows and duvet are used. I have an allergy to these and this is the first place I have ever stayed where these are used. No plant milk available either but loved the complimentary wine.

Tacky decor

Having stayed with Sandie on multiple occasions over the last six months, I can truly say she really is the kindest host you can ever wish to meet! She goes above and beyond to help. 
Really beautiful rooms, great food, lovely surroundings and so peaceful! I would stay at church farm again in a heartbeat!

Breakfast was amazing.. nothing was too much trouble for Sandie and her team. 
Rooms are subtly decorated.. 
Great garden to sit in and relax..

Beautiful place to stay..

We hired this venue for our sister Henfest in April 2022. 

From the beginning Sandie made us feel so welcome with all our planning meetings we requested. We were even ok to set up the day before which was a god send! 

The service we received was excellent. The venue was clean and extremely well maintained. 

The food we were served was delicious it was hot, plenty to eat , lots of choice and full of flavour! 

We were so impressed with Sandie and her team, we cant wait for our next visit!

HENFEST 2022

I have visited Church Farm a few times before, but my partner had not. Decided to take him and show him this lovely, quite unique guest house.
Beautiful house, dating back to 1700's,with many traditional features. Our room was beautiful, and I can vouch for two other rooms which I have stayed in, which were also fabulous. The host certainly has an eye for detail. Really quite bespoke accommodation. But above all, 
comfortable and clean.
Breakfast was superb, freshly cooked and hot. Everything a full English breakfast should be!
The host of this guesthouse was made for this role. She is friendly, and welcoming.
My partner loved the place too. Can't wait to return. A special place to stay.

Beautiful place, excellent host

When a friend suggest a coffee and catch up my first thought was Costa Coffee then I was recommend Church Farm so  booked a late afternoon tea.  We were greeted with a beautifully lit room, table set to a high standard in a shabby chic way.  Homemade lemonade was waiting for us at the table followed by a bone China cup filled with delicious homemade soup and toast. A choice of tea or coffee was offered then out came the afternoon tea it was all freshly made, beautiful small homemade cakes which certainly filled you up. The atmosphere is very charming and relaxing and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who wants some quiet downtime away from the Christmas rush.  As church farm is not licences we took our own little bottle of Prosecco which was an added bonus. Fantastic value for money and very welcoming and accommodating. It was also good to support local. Will definitely return.

A hidden gem serving afternoon tea in beautiful surrounding

Was invited to a surprise 70th birthday tea party 2 weeks ago. Was very disappointed as our friend who invited us had booked 2 rooms, with lit fires. The food ordered was hot soup, hot and cold savouries, cakes, sandwiches, tea and coffee.  When all 27 of us arrived we were all squeezed into 1 room, (hence we are in covid restrictions AND the owner knew that 1 of the guests has mental health issues which meant we needed 2 rooms). it was freezing cold, most of us had to sit in our coats.   There was no hot soup or hot savouries as agreed in the price.  The owner who had 3 face to face meetings with my friend who was arranging this party was away on holiday on that day and didnt even tell my friend, which is fine as they had staff there, but afterwards our friend had several messages to discuss the issues that she had booked/ordered but now the owner has blocked her and won’t discuss the problems and the lack of food on the day. Cost was £16.50 per adult which we only had 1 pot of tea per table and 1 pot of coffee for the whole room, literally 4 corners of sandwiches, 2 small cakes and a tiny piece of pork each which was unbelievable hence the cost. Extremely let down, not even an apology and felling totally ripped off. 

This was a surprise 70th and it was ruined
