Shower stank for us to find hair stagnant water and dirt also hair and dirt all in the drain plug we lifted! Probably why it smelt! 

Food was disgusting with funny tastes to the bacon, inedible pancakes, and meat products cooked to the bare minimum at the cheapest quickest ways! I only liked the apple juice and the hash browns! The rest wasn’t worth wasting £10 on! 

The room itself had no window you can open to regulate temperature! I barley slept due to the stuffiness and the fact someone ran up and down the corridor 2 times in the night - full on sprinted past my door (thud thud thud thud thud thud thud!!!) stirring me from trying to sleep in the terrible temperature conditions ruining any chances of actually sleeping! 

To mention I paid £130 odd for the room and the food on a day where it is busy due to a car show! In any other day I believe it’s £47 a night (not including food) what a rip off I will not be returning and hope I can get a partial refund at least to even think about returning to another premier inn! 

Terrible food, nights sleep, dirty shower

No mobile data in the hotel and WiFi completely unavailable. No indication that WiFi wasn't working anywhere in the hotel. Paid for the premium WiFi and when reporting to the reception informing them of the issue, I was told there was nothing that could be done by them and it was what is was. No offer of a refund on their behalf. 
In addition, the bed was not comfy and even marks on the bed linen. The pillows were the most uncomfortable I've had in a hotel and the bathroom had marks around the toilet and sink area. 

Poor communication and zero Internet available

I had high expectations for the hotel, we stayed over when there was a big show on at the international centre so the prices were massively inflated. Upon arrival there was no one on reception and you could walk right in off the street into the hallways, which is a big safety concern. We checked ourselves in and went to the room, the room was ok at best and the bed was appalling, a rock hard bed that put me on the sick the following work day with back ache like never before. The shower trickled out when on full and when I went to reception to let the staff know about these issues there was no one to be seen. Pushing the bell made no difference so I had to call it a night. I have asked for the good night guarantee to be put into place so we shall see if that is honoured or not. For a hotel in the city centre I was very disappointed, especially with the price inflation of almost £115 for 1 night.

Uncomfortable, over priced and under staffed

Me and my husband stayed a couple nights last month for the Snooker championship down the road. The international centre is only a 5/10 minute walk away so was very convenient for us. We had a very nice stay and also dined in the restaurant. Special shout-out to C.J. who opened the restaurant early for us one of the days  (it opens at 6.30). This was very kind because it was busy for the staff I could see. He also gave us fresh milk because I don’t like the little milk pots. A very charming young man we wish him all the best for the future. the fish and chips was very good quality for the price of the meal deal. The other gentlemen who served our drinks was also very pleasant. In the morning the breakfast was lovely and the two girls did superbly I didn’t get there names. We will definitely be coming back again for next years tournament.

Lovely hotel and staff

Hotel is very clean and comfortable, breakfast was very fresh.
Some staff members were very rude, unpleasant, unhelpful and not accommodating. I don’t think I would stay in this hotel again for this reason. 

Rude staff

Stayed one night for a family do, very basic and wasn’t keen on the extra single bed in the room made the room rather small , the air conditioning unit was noisy also it all seemed like it needed upgrading as didn’t seem clean and fresh but basic and cheap for one night will stay at Travelodge opposite next time as that’s where I’ve stayed previously it’s much better.

Basic visit

Stayed here for one night on business - the hotel is clean and comfortable however the Wi-Fi is very poor and prevented me for doing basic work such an emails and calls - I paid for the ultimate Wi-Fi and then I asked the staff about the issue they seemed to know it was a reoccurring issues and offered no solution. Would not stay here again based on the wifi issue when travelling with work.

Poor Wi-Fi let’s hotel down

The music from the restaurants is so loud that you can hear what song it is when in your room. No care was taken to give us a quiet room as a young family. Would not recommend staying in this hotel at all.

Very loud

Cheap parking and good location are its main draw.
The room was clean and quiet as we were at the back.
Aircon worked well in 32c heat but the drains in the bathroom did smell.
We would stay again if attending an event. 
Plenty of food options outside the front door if you don't want to eat here.

Location wise excellent for an event.

None existent signal or wifi. Paid ultimate wifi and was still unable to fully load a single page on my phone, nevermind my laptop! 
Girl on the desk told my partner to park in ‘Northfield car park’ I checked in 5 minutes later and was told n entirely different car park. The one my partner parked in was wrong and staff were very unclear on where to actually park. Not sure how hard it can be to remember the name of the one specific car park for the hotel
