Checked in last Wednesday 24th April and was welcomed by cathy the owner of the property,the house is fantastic and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable .
The house is very quiet and I wasn’t disturbed by any noise , breakfast was fantastic as cathy is a great host 
I recommend this lovely bed and breakfast to anyone and her trip advisor listing says it all

Fantastic 3 nights stay 

Highfield Guest House is set on the site of an iron age fort! but there is nothing ancient about it. Everywhere is spotless and Catherine is a delightful hostess who delights in sharing her home. The breakfasts were delicious and we sat looking over the patio into a beautiful garden which attracted numerous birds and even a stoat!

Great location and hospitality

A warm welcome, great breakfast, comfortable room, lovely views. great location for visiting Andover, Winchester etc as well as only 30 minute drive to the centre of the New forest.  Good value for money. Couldn't ask for more.

Ideal location

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on 11 Jun 2018 while on a three week tour of Scotland and England and rose gardens.  Highfield Guest House is located just outside of Stockbridge and very convenient to Mottisfont Gardens.  We booked the Celtic Suite (super king with very large ensuite bathroom).  Room rate was very reasonable.  Cathy, the host, greeted us and showed us to our room on the first floor.  The room was very spacious, quiet, well decorated and extremely comfortable.  Cathy was very helpful in providing info about the B & B, the area and dining options.   She and my wife toured her gardens and talked about plants and roses.  I had booked our dinner at the 3 Cups in Stockbridge beforehand (see review under restaurants) and Cathy recommended and called ahead for a reservation at the Boot Inn in Houghton (see review under restaurants) for our second night's meal.  Breakfast was served in the ground floor dining area.  The breakfasts were excellent with choices and/or a cold buffet.  On the first morning my wife had the cold buffet and I had smoked trout and poached egg -- yummy!  On the next morning my wife had the buffet again and I had the full English breakfast. 

I would highly recommend the Highfield  Country Guest House and would stay here again if in the area.

Warm, Inviting and Comfortable B & B

Hard to fault this B&B.  Comfortable, clean and nicely decorated room. Very quiet. Nice rural outlook.  Breakfast was excellent and very well presented.  Lovely hosts, very accommodating as they made  breakfast extra early for us at 7am so we could make an early start as we had some distance to go.  This is the second time we have stayed here.
