Just had a long weekend staying at the regal very clean comfortable beds excellent breakfast and very friendly helpful staff . Karioki Friday and Saturday night's is a bit loud if you going to bed early but it is entertaining had a really enjoyable stay will be coming back

Excellent stay

Lovely hotel lovely rooms but do not stay here if you want a nights sleep karaoke down stairs friday and Saturday night the noise after in the street is terrible you mite get to sleep before 2am if your lucky and then 8.15 on a sunday morning there are delivery's would not recommend this hotel if you want a rest

Not the place to stay if you want some sleep

Went to the bar for a drink and a regular customer called my friend ugly and I ask this boy why he did this and the bar maid tried to say he didn’t say this and told us we all need to leave.. absolutely fuming and outraged at the servers when this man cleverly made my friend feel uncomfortable… their was 20+ of me and my friends so the pub lost so much profit from this

Poor poor poor service

5th time me and mum have stayed here another excellent break the staff are absolutely amazing and couldnt do enough for my mum who is disabled the rooms are good and clean and the breakfast was really good plenty of choice 

Weekend break

Fantastic service  . Very helpful staff couldn't  ask for better..perfect location . The guests in the bar are very welcoming  too.

The hotel is clean smells lovely really friendly staff food was amazing beds were comfy and room was spotlessly clean and well equipped  will come back again  the most welcoming reception staff and the cleaners were also very helpfull

The regal hotel in cleveleys should be closed down its disgusting  people are not nice, i stayed there for 3 nights while i was there i used the outdoor smoking area downstairs i was there Thursday night i spoke to a lovely gey man lovely man and this nasty man i think is name was john the staff new him anyway he went in my cigarette packet only one left and took it out and i said do you mind im disabled  cant get to the shop this awful man said here he put
£10.00 on the table and said buy some f...... More fags than he called me a c.... And a b...... I was upset and the women behind the bar went to him and started laughing with him and is friends she was very loud f..... Ing this and f...... Ing that i just got up and the lovely man i was talking to i had to leave, and this man who is called john had to women they only looked like 15 and 16 year olds they were drinking alcohol so i went up stairs to my room crying next morning the was a young women in the bar when i went downstairs  behind the bar she was so lovely i explaned what went on she said did uou report it and i said no and the young women said you need to report it which i did the people who i reported it to didnt careless. And the food is disgusting. The regal hotel should be closed down and i will make sure its closed down

Disgusting place the regal hotel

We have eaten here many times and the food is very good and we are well satisfied with the service. We called in  just for coffee’s and couldn’t believe the cost for an americano and a latte. I didn’t expect to pay motorway services prices at £3.50 each. I will go again for food but not for a coffee. 

Too expensive

This was a company booking over  Fri/Sat.
Arrived 2000. Initially nowhere to park car -  had to park car on street to check-in. 
 Hotel Door was locked. Had to access via Bar and Hotel reception is on first floor. Receptionist was surprised at may arrival at 20:00 ! However was helpful and eventually found a car parking space at rear - Very little parking space accessed down back alley.
Access is via the bar area, which had entertainment./ karaoke  on.
 
Room was at back of Hotel. On entry the window was open, but room had a nasty odour. Had to leave window open due odour and as a result was disturbed by the banging noise of the entertainment which went on until midnight. Endless noise throughout the night, emptying rubbish/bottles etc.

Evening meal is only served 1700-1800. Apparently bar food is available, but with the entertainment, this was not a prospect I wished to take. There are restaurants/cafe's in the high street. 

Room small and "shower room" is crammed . This would be tolerable if there was hot water . After returning to the Hotel around 2200, there was no hot water. I assumed that it would heat overnight, but 0600-0700 Sat, there was no Hot water and no one was in reception. There is no phone in the room to contact anyone and I had to leave by 0700.
There is only a small bar of soap in shower room. No shower gel etc is supplied.
Had to resort to boiling water in kettle to shave and then suffer a cold shower.

There is an ample tea tray with basic tea/coffee/milk

I will put up with many things, the only thing I ask from a hotel  is hotwater and clean linen. 
Whilst the linen looked OK, the towels had a stale odour and I decided to not delve under the sheets!!

This is quite unacceptable service  in 2023. Avoid this hotel. 
I have never written a review before and I have stayed in some poor hotels across the globe, but this really is the worst I have ever encountered.



Only use this Hotel if you like a cold shower

Went in for lunch today the food was awful and very small potions I had the stake pie 🥧  all I got was a tiny piece of pie and a plate full of frozen chips and a dollop of very dry mushy pies . Three of us had lunch would give it 3 out of ten!!!!!!!!!¡ very disappointed and won't  be going again. And the tea and coffee prices are ridiculous.
