We recently stayed at this lovely B&B after having our itinerary changed due to severe weather and not being able to get to Stornaway.  Claire and her husband welcomed us.  The B&B was right in the center of Thurso so you could walk everywhere.  Our room was very nice and cozy.  The breakfast was outstanding as prepared by Claire and her husband.  I highly recommend this B&B.

Accommodation at a Moments Notice

A very warm welcome by Claire and her husband. The room was very clean. We had the whole place to ourselves as no other guests were staying. The breakfast was great plenty to eat and great choice. We also had complementary beer and wine, which was a lovely touch.

Had a lovely night stay at the 4. Claire really is the hostess with the mostess and generous to a fault. Great location a stones throw from the beach and the shops. Great breakfast spread and veggie sausages, the first we have come across on the NC500

Great little B&B

I stayed at B&B @4 in early October during a Rabbies 500 tour.  The room was very comfortable and well decorated. Breakfast was great and Claire and her husband  are lovely.  There are restaurants within walking distance and the location is accessible to everything you'll need. 

I would  stay here again.

Great little place

We stopped off at No.4 on the way to Orkney. 

Fantastic welcome by Claire when we arrived, felt very safe and lots of hand sanitiser about and our contact tracing details were taken. 

Room was very comfortable and super clean. 

Fantastic breakfast in the morning and plenty of Highland hospitality. 

Small businesses need support during these tough times. We were well looked after and all the Covid guidelines were followed. Make sure you stop off 😎

Great place to stay

We stayed just one night in the family room, it was a good size, basic and clean. The breakfast was very tasty with good options, the hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area with good recommendations.

We stopped here as part of our nc500 and would totally recommend. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable, showers were great. The owners were lovely, welcoming and friendly with good information. The breakfast was amazing. We were allowed to bring a takeaway in to eat in the dining room in the evening which was fantastic particularly considering the children and the cost of eating out! Would return. Thanks!

“Home from Home”

Claire was a grand host.
The accommodation was spotlessly clean.  Our room was well equipped.  She kindly let us use the dinning room to eat our takeaway.  The rhubarb jam was SO nice.. I'll need to go back just to write the recipe down.. Breakfast was seriously fresh / well cooked & presented.

Fabulous 

We stayed at this b&b for a night, and had a lovely time. The hosts are so sweet and helpful, also prepared an amazing, filling breakfast. The b&b itself was super cute. Our room had an amazing bathroom with a claw tub bath— the bathroom was actually huge and I never usually take baths in hotels but this was one was too pretty to resist. The shower was also very nice. The room was quite cozy as well and the beds were comfortable. The b&b is also a close walk to other restaurants and the the beach in the town.

Great stay!

We stayed here as part of our Rabbies tour of the NC500. We were lucky to stay here. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Our room was newly remodeled and warm and spotlessly clean. We had plenty of room. The bathroom had a great shower. 
We were able to take a short walk to shops and a wonderful restaurant on the waterfront. Breakfast was wonderful and served in a pleasant room.
