Quite possibly the best hotel on the North Norfolk Coast. I have used this hotel often over the last few years and will be back again in February 2024.  The rooms are large and furnished well and cleaned to the highest standards.  The bathrooms are also large and the showers are well received after a long day walking; the experience is added to by the best shower gel I have ever encountered in a hotel. 

The breakfast is superb no matter what you have and I have eaten in the restaurant a couple of times and never been disappointed.  The whole experience is topped by pleasant and engaging staff.

A lovely hotel in a great setting

A fantastic 3 night stay betwixmas for friends 60th birthday.  Although the staff must have been exhausted from all the busy Christmas parties and festive celebrations,  they were still enthusiastic and welcoming to us , and went to great lengths to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. 
Check in was friendly and efficient,  our room was spacious and clean, and smelled beautiful (the aroma was the lovely bath products), the food at breakfast, lunchtime and dinner was all very good, with plenty of choice and always served with a smile.
This hotel had been recommended to us by someone who has stayed here a number of times,  and now I know why. Well done to the whole team at Briarfields , you made our stay one to remember for all the right reasons and we will now also be recommending you to everyone. 

Everything just right

We stayed in room 9 this time. First time staying  in this room. Immaculate and comfortable. The bathroom had a bath and a walk in shower. And had toiletries in there which are good quality. 
We attended the Party Night which was really enjoyable and the preorder food was nice. Service from the Staff was organised too.

Love Briarfields doesn’t disappoint!

We celebrated my 80th here last weekend with the whole family and the hotel    
could not have done anything to make our stay more enjoyable.
There is a relaxed attitude to large groups and pets are welcomed in certain rooms and areas all of which makes for a stress free stay.
It was a cold weekend but this hotel is always so warm and cozy with the log fires and well heated bedrooms.
It was not our first visit and won’t be the last so thanks again Briarfields for helping to make my birthday special.


Another great family weekend.

This was a short break that will stay long in the memory. Our room was superb – well appointed, elegantly designed and with a huge and very comfy bed. And it was kept absolutely spotless by the brilliant cleaning staff.

The breakfasts were superb. A great selection to choose from, with fabulous Continental and phenomenal cooked options. The veggie breakfast was spot-on, and the smashed avocado was amazing.

There are lots of cosy spots to relax after a day’s walking, with a roaring fire and really comfy seats. The staff in the bar and on reception are helpful and friendly.

Highly recommended.

A comfortable hotel in a great location, Briarfields is very close to the RSPB's Titchwell reserve and also other paths down to the coast. Our upstairs room was spacious and modern, but suffered from the usual problems with modern "designer" hotel rooms - not enough shelf space, and the bathroom basins were impractical for washing and didn't have much space to put bits and pieces alongside. A great walk-in shower, as well as a bath.  
The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very good, but the menu was limited in that there wasn't a chicken or lamb main course at all when we were there.
Overall, we would be happy to stay there again.

Great location for wildlife lovers

We live fairly local to this establishment. It one of our favourites. Not the cheapest but good value for money . Staff are friendly, food fantastic and the rooms are lovely. Better beds than the Premier Inn . Will continue to come back again

Great place to stay

We loved our stay in Room 1.
The room was lovely, clean, warm, comfortable with the best bathroom we have had in a hotel, ever!
The staff could not have been better, exactly the right amount of friendly and helpful.  We enjoyed relaxed drinks in front of the fire.
Dinner was perfect.  To be perfectly honest, the dining room was my concern when booking as it is showed during the day on the internet and I wondered what it would be like for dinner, however in the evening it turned into a cosy restaurant.  I had the best starter ever and the main and dessert matched.  Both parties very happy!
We slept really well, a super comfy bed and great pillows.  Breakfast was similar to dinner in that we enjoyed it, freshly cooked, just great!
It’s fab, we will definitely return!

Relaxing, comfortable, just great!

An excellent last minute few days away. The check in staff were friendly and efficient. The room was larger than expected and really comfortable. The food was a little disappointing but still much better than average. All the people who worked there were amazing. How did they find such friendly and helpful staff. Paul was particularly helpful. We will definitely be going back soon. A real find 

An excellent hotel in an excellent position

We spent two nights here in what I would describe as excellent accommodation.  The bathroom was larger than many hotel rooms I have stayed in and had everything we wanted.  Very peaceful and quiet.  We received a warm greeting on arrival, which we had timed to see hundreds of Pink Footed Geese fly over to roost.  Staff all very friendly and attentive.  What prevents me giving five stars was the dinning experience.  The menu is not extensive and we decided just to have the fish and chips.  In the event we left most of it on our plate and left without attempting a sweet.  I reported the experience and was told the kitchen would be told, but I accept this was out of courtesy and didn't expect anything to come of it, and nothing did.  We ate out the next evening and had a wonderful pub meal.
To repeat however, the room was excellent and the staff friendly and courteous.  I'd definitely stay here again, but would eat out.  The breakfast was fine and of course the hotel is very close to Titchwell RSPB Reserve which was ideal for us birdwatchers.
