Brilliant hotel had a lovely 2 night stay over the new year  with friends 
Made to feel very welcome. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Very clean 
And a great continental breakfast. 
Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the

Lovely stay 

This is a budget priced hotel  the decor is a little tired in places  but clean and  well on the way to refurbishment. Darren is a friendly and welcoming host. No bar facilities but the breakfast was continental and very generous. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable and we slept well. Parking could be an issue, but we always managed to park outside the front door. Thanks Darren, we really enjoyed our stay.

Queens Hotel Todmorden

A very friendly and comfortable hotel conveniently placed opposite the railway station.  But not open until after 15.00 hours, so be prepared to wait if your train gets you there earlier!  My room afforded a picturesque view of the church spire through the original sash window. The bathroom was roomy with plenty of lights and perfectly  positioned towel rails. The complementary shampoo and creamy soap, were of very high quality,  which I made full use of after a long hot journey.  No hair dryer in my room, but wrapped in the good quality hand yowel my hair dried fast anyway. 
Breakfast offered free was Continental,  though you could pay extra for a hot breakfast , if that is what you want, and if warned in advance,  Darren will make a special dietary breakfast.
Guests make their own toast at the counter, and  help themselves to,  juice, coffee, yogurt,  etc. Darren even made me a cup of Lemon and Ginger tisane! Very thoughtful and the perfect host. Darren even said that I could leave my backpack in Reception,  until I went for my train in the afternoon,  which I was grateful for, as I would be walking in the hill above the town all day. 
I would have loved to stay longer in this charming old hotel. 

Rail travellers delight

Lovely large clean rooms, peaceful location and excellent attentive friendly service. Breakfast was very good and was delivered promptly. 
Good bar with a good selection of ales!
Parking was easy in the area.
We hope to return!!

Excellent service!

Stayed for one night while visiting family . Lovely large bedroom . Fantastic staff . Obviously in the middle of an upgrade , what has been done so far is stunning. Seven of us us had breakfast and nothing was to much trouble . To the lady who cooked the breakfast ... It was perfect .

Well worth it.

The hotel is in the middle of a renovation but, honestly, I wouldn't let that worry you - the room was great and the corridors were all clean, it was only really the kitchen that was having work while I was there. Hopefully the exterior will get it's turn soon as the worn sign on the side undersells the place!

Room was well equipped with a comfortable bed, tv, armchairs, heating and a fan (covering both bases!) as well as tea making facilities and wifi. It was clean and well kept. Location is convenient if arriving by train - come out the station exit, cross the road, you're there.

Was welcomed to the hotel by Darren who both text earlier in the day to update me and called while I was enroute to make sure all was okay. Always nice to be greeted by a friendly face!

Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Well equipped, clean, room in a nice spot

The room was comfortable and the hotel very conveniently located. We arrived very late and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Yes, they are in the middle of a refurb, but that had very little impact on our stay and the staff are doing everything they can to look after the guests while that goes on.  We will definitely be going back.

Very friendly staff

Jamie was really friendly, the welcoming and check-in was really quick. Everything is spotless and you can park just at the front. I’m impressed and I’d definitely return to try the food once it’s all back open. Room 1 was massive.

Excellent place to stay

Stayed here over bank hol weekend. Jamie the manager welcomed us+really friendly. Let us drop off cases so we could go off for day . Lovely clean rooms+ comfy beds. Breakfast not available but no problem as wetherspoons couple minutes away+ ate on eat out scheme.Able to leave cases againto spend few hours walking/ meal before train home. On return Jamie once again couldnt do enough for us+ Wouldnt hesitate to return+ dont get the last negative review. Maybe they should try running a busy pub/ hotel single handed. Jamie you are doinga fab job!!

Fantastic stay

Had a very pleasant stay here. Room clean and bed comfortable. Good breakfast too for less than £8. Well equipped room with good storage for clothing for those on a longer trip, sadly no hairdryer in room but I think had I asked one would have been provided. Shower not so great tho adequate,  I think the owners are in the middle of refurbishing an old building . The actual pub part was very stylishly decorated and I’d say if that’s a sign of what to expect in the future then I think this hotel will be fabulous. Well done team Queens.
