Warm welcome to moment you arrive at the hotel, The own is there offering help with bags and then ensuring your settled into your room.

The room is to lovely and excellent standard, coffee machine in the room was a lovely touch. Everything has been thought from elexa to having cotton buds in the bathroom.

The room is better than 5 star hotels we have stayed in before. This will be where we book going forward. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Brilliant B & B. I chose Villa Marina as it seemed to be the only one specifically mentioning quality, locally sourced food, especially butter on your toast (not margarine!). It certainly lived up to it! Breakfast was fantastic, beautifully poached eggs, smoked salmon on brown buttered toast, local jam that was every bit as good as my own home made. Room and décor were also really nice.

I was there for a funeral, and couldn't have wished for better hosts and company during a stressful time. Vince even offered to drive me to the cemetery.

The Victorian house is beautiful and has a lovely well kept garden. The accomodation was immaculate, clean and homely with well presented decor and interesting art. The bed was luxurious in our room.
The amenities and little extras were very thoughtful.  Lovely lemon drizzle cake upon arrival courtesy of Vince and black pudding sourced by Erwan.  
Breakfast was fabulous especially the poached eggs.
Vince and Erwan were such thoughtful and kind hosts, and being in their company was an easy pleasure.  We can't rate them or their accomodation enough and just want to say a BIG thank you for making our time so special. We hope to see you again soon, Love Leo and Justin.

Well worth a stay

Polite, lovely hosts who gave us very helpful information about places to visit in the area. The room was immaculately clean and breakfast was superb. We would definitely recommend this B&B. Thank you very much.

Definitely Recommend

Great place to stay, convenient, clean and exceptional. Hosts were fantastic and very welcoming. Much more preferable than hotels as the service is personable and they go above and beyond. I have been staying in Devon for the past 3 months weekly, and this is the best breakfast I have had, compliments to the Chef. I will definitely be staying again in future.

Our 2nd visit to Villa Marina for a well needed break, with the wonderful Vince and Erwan as our hosts and not forgetting  lovely Merlin.
Our room was comfortable and immaculate as always.
The variety of choices from the breakfast menu were amazing and cooked to perfection.

Amazing

This establishment is a gem. The owners/proprietors, Vince and Erwan are genuinely friendly and professional. They managed the CLEANEST hotel/B&B we have ever been to. Breakfast was cooked well and tasted great.  We enjoyed the fruit Muesli with yogurt… honestly it was my first time eating this breakfast “treat”! 😃 I can’t say enough about this place… I strongly recommend this “gem” of an establishment to anyone searching for a place to stay, you will NOT be disappointed! 

Villa Marina…The Best of Torquay!

Vince  and Erwan were fantastic hosts, extremely welcoming and helpful and the house is beautifully maintained with a few quirky touches!

The room was spotless and we had a great nights sleep as the bed and pillows are so comfy.
Complimentary tea and coffee in room with fresh milk and water in the mini fridge was a nice touch, the rooms smell lovely and bath gels and shampoos provided are lush .
Breakfast which is pre ordered the night before was delicious.
Would highly recommend Villa Marina  for your stay when in Torquay.

We have just returned from a wonderful weeks stay in this perfectly run Guest House. We were made to feel so welcome on arrival. Vince even offered to help with our cases. The Cary room overlooked the pretty garden. It was decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean. There were lovely personal touches like bathrobes, luxury toiletries that smelled devine and even some sweeties. Also there was plenty of wardrobe and drawer space for your clothes. The bed was so comfortable and we slept soundly every night. The bathroom was spacious with a lovely powerful shower. Breakfast was delicious every day no matter what you had. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. Vince and Erwan chatted to all their guests showing genuine interest in what plans they had for the day while making sure everything was ok with the food. Nothing was ever a problem and they both went out of their way to make our holiday special. They had some very useful knowledge around places to visit like Ansteys Cove and Kent’s Cavern with breathtaking views. And the glass blowing at Cockington - where we made a start off out Christmas shopping!  If you like to relax and read the beautiful garden has comfy chairs and loungers and you might get a visit from the delightful Merlin the dog. Their recommendations for places to eat were also spot on. We enjoyed the lovely Portofina    For Italian cuisine and Otto for Pizza and found the food at The Hole in the Wall excellent too. We’ve returned home feeing so refreshed and relaxed and cannot wait to plan a return visit.

The perfect B&B from the spotless stylish rooms to the beautifully cooked breakfast. Everything is to a high standard and quality and Vince and Erwan cannot do enough for you to make your stay comfortable so much so we will be returning. We absolutely love
