We enjoyed a week at the Westbrook Guest House in Torquay. We had stayed once before and the hosts, Marie and John remembered us and we felt at home the minute we stepped through the door. We remembered the cleanliness from our previous stay, if anything, it seemed cleaner, in fact, spotless. The rooms are well appointed with TV, tea and coffee and a fridge. The bed was really comfortable too. The breakfast every morning had all you would want, cereal, toast, croissants, juice, tea, coffee, yoghurt, full English breakfast or various combinations, or breakfast sandwiches. It's in a nice spot, just off the main road so the traffic noise is not excessive and it's just a short walk from the town. Marie and John are lovely hosts, they love to get to know you and you cannot help but like them. We enjoyed it so much we have already asked them to make a reservation for next year and we can't wait to go back. We'll done!

Excellent Guest House and Hosts

We have just come back from Torquay staying at Westbrook B&B. We have stayed here before and it never disappoints. John and Marie are so friendly and welcoming.  The B&B is spotlessly clean you can not fault any of the rooms  . The breakfast menu has plenty of choice and is always cooked beautifully.  It is in walking distance to the beach and shops. I will definitely be returning !

Another Amazing Stay

We stayed here for a bank holiday weekend. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The building has been refurbished recently and is immaculate. The room had everything we needed and we were 10 minutes walk to town. We highly recommend Westbrook Guest House.

A perfect place to stay!

Stayed at Westbrook Guesthouse for 3 nights during the Easter holidays.  Very warm welcome from the hosts Marie and John.  Nothing was too much trouble for them. Spotlessly clean and offers everything you need - even down to polish for your shoes.   Large selection on offer for breakfast, the hot selection were just that - not luke warm like you get in lots of places.  Approximate 5-10 min walk to seafront depending on your mobility.   Comes highly recommended. Already trying to figure out my holidays to go back again.   If you are looking for somewhere to stay then you NEED to book Westbrook Guesthouse.

Lovely Guesthouse

After a very busy year, I needed somewhere to unwind and relax, I found the Westwood Guest House suitable for all my needs,  not far from the seafront, my host Marie &John were most welcoming and the bedroom was spotlessly clean, I really enjoyed my stay and mostly I could sit on the promenade and observe people going about their daily lives when I finish my book I will certainly forward a copy to these two wonderful people.

Just got back from Westbrook Guest House and we miss it already.  Marie and John are a lovely couple and make you feel at home.
Everything was perfect.  We were worried about car parking,  but we shouldn't have, parking was available outside on the road so it was fab.
A little walk to the beach and restaurants was great.  All in all a lovely little getaway, we will be back.

Lovely, friendly Stay

Marie and John went above and beyond to make myself and my partner feel welcome. I booked to celebrate my partners birthday and we were so surprised to find a little cake and message; such a wonderful personal touch (and incredibly delicious). 

The room itself was spotless and incredibly comfortable and tidied everyday during our stay with lovely little touches. 

The location is fantastic. A short walk to the seaside, with public transport nearby.

Overall we had a fantastic time and are really looking forward to coming back soon! Couldn’t recommend enough.

We spent a week at this lovely B&B.  Rooms are well fitted out with good quality furnishings, nice firm bed and every toiletry or special touch you might need.  Breakfast is great quality and there is plenty off it.  Couple who run the guesthouse are very friendly and give good tips on places to go, bus routes & times etc.  We will come back again

Lovely week at a really nice B&B in a superb location near the beach

We had lovely stay at Westbrook Guesthouse end of October. It is in a great location, close to the beachfront as well as the town centre. The couple who run the guesthouse are lovely and catered brilliantly for us vegetarians at breakfast which was nice. Definitely recommend staying here and will certainly stay again when we come back to Torquay!

Fantastic guesthouse

My wife and I have just had 4nights at Westbrook and we had a lovely stay breakfast choice was fab our room clean tidy just what you would expect when pulling up to the Westbrook clean and tidy so we wasn’t disappointed when Marie showed us to our room.John and Marie were very helpful in guiding us to good eateries always pleasant and talkative especially John he could talk a hind leg off a Donkey but in a very nice way and we enjoyed the conversations every morning .I would recommend Westbrook to anyone looking for a nice sleep breakfast and a good chat just all round excellent b&b we will definitely be back if we are able to get in as they are very busy .Thanks again John&Marie 10/10.
