A lovely B&B lots of on road parking outside, friendly and helpful staff, our room was a balcony room and was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom, tea, coffee and water in room, the breakfast was lovely and tasty. Would stay again.

Lovely stay

We spent a week here with friends,  friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was faultless, the guest house is clean and tidy,  loved the residents snug we we spent some evenings having some refreshments after spending our days exploring.  We will hopefully be back

Great stay

Great service, lovely breakfast each morning. Clean and tidy and easy to get around town from. The owners are friendly and clearly take care and pride in their home/business. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely guest house

We were extremely pleased when we arrived at Avron House. 
Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and the full english breakfast was delicious, as was my wife's smoked salmon and scrambled egg.
We were made to feel very welcome by Trina and Pete.
The location was very useful as we were within walking distance of Babbacombe and the marina in Torquay.
I would highly recommend staying here.

Weekend getaway

Wowza. A fabulous overnight stay at Avron House. A superrrrb find!!! 
It’s location is spot on for either seafront/bay, a simple 15min walk to either.
Taxi is just £5 from Torquay train station and takes 7mins.
The hosts and the gorgeous member if staff were so full of loveliness with the offer to help and the time to chat and exchange banter. This is a great touch because it showcases their passion for guests.
The room was awesome, spacious, clean, bright and full of all you could possibly need.
Brekky was very filling, we had a full English cooked to perfection as well as buffet style fruits, yoghurts, juices and cereals.
To make their life easier we were asked to submit our cooked choices the evening before and had the choice as to the time we wanted to go down to brekky.
The evening meal we took the short walk to The Babbacombe pub with stunning views and again excellent staff. 
This 2 day trip was BRILL !!!!!!!

Stayed for a week in September this year , English breakfast was cooked fresh to order from the day before.  Plenty of cereal,  fruit available.  Unlimited coffee and tea. Rooms and the guest house where spotless.  Beds were comfy , the owners and staff where friendly and nothing was too much trouble.  Babbacombe is about 10 minutes walk one way , Torquay centre is about 15 the other.  In short I can't fault the place,  the staff, or the accommodation.  Top Marks.

Quality Accommodation

Stayed here for 2 nights , nice clean room, nice quiet position with plenty of parking outside. Very good, comfy bed. Breakfast was quite good, nice poached eggs on toast. Shower a bit unpredictable to use, either too hot or too cold.

Nice room, good bed, nice and quiet

Spent 5 nights here last week and loved it. Location is everything. 10 mins to your right,Torquay Harbour  10 mins to your left,Babacoombe Downs. Both places are a must visit for pub,restaurants,views etc etc. The room was immaculate as was the shower. The breakfast superb and the hosts are lovely. Always stop for a chat and full of local knowledge. The place really does tick all the boxes. 
My only gripe would be that they advertise that its fully licensed and that they have a bar. They are not and they dont.  They advertise it on your emails,their website and even on here.This was one of the reasons  we chose there and were kinda disappointed that we couldn't even get a cold can of lager. If we were to  buy our own a small fridge in the room would help. So maybe if they provided them it would be a great help in the future. That really is my only moan. Everything else is simply great value for money and we will return

Location is everything. 

I booked 3 nights in Torquay as a surprise for my partners 50th birthday, I asked the owners if they could put a bottle of prosecco in the room for when we arrived, they did and also put a card and box of chocolates from them which was a lovely gesture.
The room was lovely and clean with plenty of storage and hangers in wardrobe, there was a hairdryer and kettle with lots of tea, coffee and milk, the bed was very comfy.
Bathroom was roomy with big bottles of shampoo, shower gel, hand wash and body lotion, shower was powerful and very warm.
Breakfast was staggered because of covid with 2 rooms at a time and there was a variety of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, fruit juice, tea, coffee, full English or salmon. Breakfast was outstanding and presented well.
The living room area was closed because of covid.
Owners was friendly and always asked at breakfast if you needed any more milk, coffee etc for your room and if you had had a good day the day before.
The town was a 20 minute walk.
Would definitely stay here again.

Wow amazing 

B&B was easy to book and the hosts were friendly and accomodating. Rooms were spacious enough with plenty of room for belongings and relaxing after a long day of walking - had a good nights sleep on comfortable beds. Bathroom was of an adequate size and facilities in the room and B&B as a whole were good. Breakfast was great with a large selection of food and drink. We had to drive down to the central area for dinner but that was not a problem. Parking was also not an issue - we managed to always find a space! The only two things that were a little disappointing: 1. Shower could be more powerful (much needed after long walks with aching muscles!) and 2. Not having an iron available in the rooms made things a bit difficult (although I understand the reasons why, this is a facility I would wish to have available in the room and not in a public area). All in all, I would stay again if visiting Torquay.
