This is the second time we have stayed on this park and we love it here.  We spent Christmas week here with my family and our dog and we had a lovely time.  The only disappointment was that the pool was closed, there was no Wi-Fi as they told us on arrival that they were between providers and our phone signal wasn't great.  The bungalow was warm and cosy.  The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was great.  It had everything we needed for our week, the cooking facilities were good plus it had a washing machine and dishwasher which is a great addition.  The dog friendly bungalow we stayed in had a small, enclosed gravel garden.  There is access to the beach via a short walk and there are other walks around the local area.  We ate out in a local pub on Christmas Day which was lovely.  There are supermarkets, restaurants and pubs a short drive away.  The coastal walks are lovely.  We will definitely be back.

Fabulous Bungalow

Our stay in a cottage was as good as we had hoped. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Everything worked well, the hot tub was a treat and the indoor pool was one of the cleanest and best we have seen. The proximity to the bay made for some lovely evening strolls to see the sunset and it was a short walk to shops and frequent public transport. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. They helped make this an excellent week’s holiday. 

As good as it looked!

Absolutely gorgeous accommodations - impeccably clean - we felt like we were the first people to ever stay in the cottage.  The decor is modern and adorable, with all amenities provided.  We needed a hairdryer but reception were happy to loan us one.  There was even a DVD player so maybe a good idea to dig out a few to bring along.  

It's a small site, with all you need including soft play, pool and wifi in reception.  We stayed in a cottage with a hot tub which made the time so much more fun, especially on rainy days.  It's a few minutes from the most beautiful beach on the Isle of Wight.   

The staff were very natural and approachable, offering local knowledge and anything we needed.  'Tom' stood out as a real asset with a friendly and helpful attitude.

We will definitely look at booking again in the near future and will also recommend to friends unreservedly.

Accommodation is immaculate, charming and comfortable

We live on the island and we’re treated to a short stay as a thank you from a friend. I had no expectations at all and was pleasantry surprised. The accommodation was clean and bright but the most pleasing aspect for us was the privacy. We enjoyed a wonderful hour in the hot tub tucked around the back watching the stars and enjoyed breakfast on the front patio in the winter sunshine behind a nice tall hedge. I thought ‘parks’ like this would be tightly packed and overlooking each other but I came away feeling differently. Loved the trees and the hedging all through the park.

What a super spot

We recently returned from our stay at Bay Colwell, the 2 bedroom bungalow we stayed in was lovely, it was spotlessly clean when we arrived and warm and cosy, the kitchen had everything we needed but if I was being really picky we could have done with a few more plates/ cutlery/ glasses etc as there was only one of everything per person, but we managed fine with what we had. The beds were so comfortable, we all slept really well here. Our bungalow had a hot tub, it was fantastic, again spotlessly clean and very well maintained and positioned so it was very private. The complex itself was very quiet and peaceful and perfectly positioned to enjoy the island. The indoor pool was a nice surprise, we didn't realise there was one, our children really enjoyed going for a swim, you just had to be careful to pick your times as it's only a small pool and could get quite busy. The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and will hopefully return in the future.

Perfect

We arrived slightly early for check in so we waited in the cafe and had a drink whilst the kids played with the ample selection of toys. A few days prior I called Away Resorts and requested we had a newly refurbished luxury cottage with hot tub which is exactly what we got. We were in room 23 which had a great parking space, close to reception and not over looked. The hot tub was ready that evening which was the perfect way to relax. 
The beds and sofas are comfortable, everything met our requirements and we can't fault the place. Lots of facilities are included such as all kitchen equipment and plates, cutlery etc. There is a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, clothes horse, mop and bucket and broom kept on the wardrobe. 

The indoor pool is lovely with a nice seating area with loungers outside. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away (remember to check your welcome pack for the code for the gate). The tide was high most days but a little walk down the shore was the best place to be. Beautiful place to watch the sunset.

We had an amazing holiday and would throughly recommend The Bay Colwell to anybody.

Great resort , staff fabulous and only a 5 minute walk to a lovely beach , perfect we have been 9 years running and are going back in September 2022 , can't fault the facilities,  hot tub is a welcome addition and the indoor pool is lovely,  pizza served at reception/bar is good , 

The bay colwell,  a little bit of heaven

The hot tub was bonus, not quite the luxury lodge we’d expected but comfortable. No wifi on the complex at all, very limited signal to use data either. Cafe/coffee shop is tiny - coffee machine broken, no alternative offered and no f*cks given. No on site shop or facilities. The last night was especially hard with rain water cascading down the overflowing gutters loudly all night.

Would not return.

Staff are great, super friendly and helpful.
Sadly we had a problem with our accommodation not having been cleaned, we reported this and were moved immediately with help from the team. 
The hot tubs are well screened, beautifully clean and deliciously hot!
The cottages are cosy, well furnished and comfortable 

Great hideaway

lovely lodge, wouldn’t say luxury, but only due to the lack of privacy. Lodge is nice, clean and fresh. 
But the lodges are so close together - see Google earth as they are almost terraced! 
We also had the joy of a camper van parking up next to our back fence and so had even less privacy with them looking in.
Bar is basically little coffee shop, pool is nice and had it to ourselves for a fair bit
