A place I’ve known since it was built with folks I regard as dear friends over the years.
A rural location with access to all manner of outdoor activity including world classic kayak areas.
The centre is hugely versatile from camping, choices of ‘glamping’, bunkhouse, through to comfortable en suite rooms; catered or self catering. The lovely thoughtful touches are more apparent with every visit.
An excellent on-site bar also offers very good food and drink.
There has to be something for everyone.
Don’t expect the hand and foot hotel experience; it’s not that kind of place.
However, it’s the offering of incredibly hard working and sincere people giving of their very best in an industry that has been very difficult of late.
For me, a spot to be treasured and highly recommended.

A wonderful spot

We arrived for 2 nights but stayed several more it was so nice. 
Lovely place, ideal for exploring. Nice chilled vibe with lots of facilities (lovely pub/bistro) but also quiet if you want to be alone. 
I would go back in a heartbeat and likely will. 

The bar and food were great. So many different types of accommodation to choose from and so quiet and out of the way- while still being close to everything.

Loved our stay

We are a family of five and we did 2 activities, coasteering and kayaking. Both were outstanding. The instructors Lewis and James were superb, well prepared and very flexible whilst the activity went on. Their safety awareness and precautions were at the right level for the type of activity and at all times we felt very comfortable. I thoroughly recommend Anglesey Outdoors to anybody who is looking for a safe and exciting outdoors activity.

Coasteering and kayaking for a family

I camp in Anglesey every year and i would never stay anywhere else! What a  fantastic hidden gem just down the road from Holyhead, everything you need in regards to facilities and you can book things like coasteering and sea kayaking (big thanks to James our instructor!) right at the reception. The staff are lovely and so helpful (another big thanks to both Faye & Penny!).

We stayed in one of the cabans and had a wonderful time, very spacious with a stove inside and fully stocked with wood, i don't think I'll ever stay in a tent again!

Cannot reccomend this place enough, i love Anglesey Outdoors and can't wait to return.

The best outdoors centre in the country!

I have stayed at Anglesey Outdoors numerous times and never had a complaint. This was the first time I’ve stayed in one of the Eco Dens and I’m a convert. We stayed principally because it suited Covid restrictions and allowed us to be self contained, but the place was just great. As with the pods at AO, everything has been thought through and all you need is provided which is great especially for short breaks when you don’t want the hassle of packing loads of camping gear. It was nice to have a bathroom with hot shower in particular. The place was also spotlessly clean. 

 I could definitely  stay for more than the two nights we had this time. Highly recommend and will book again if they are ever vacant!

Eco Den

Myself and 4 friends visited the Seren Yurt in October (when the restrictions allowed us). We arrived in the evening however the steps down to the yurt were nicely lit and as soon as we entered the yurt we were overwhelmed with how lovely it was! 
So colourful, with beautiful wooden floorboards and it was surprisingly spacious considering the amount of beds. There was sufficient space to store our clothing and we found lots of blankets and board games in the room which was a lovely touch. 
The kitchen was very clean and had great amenities. The hot tub was (of course) lush. Short walk to the showers (you get your own private shower room incl a toilet) but also the compostable toilet was really convenient. 
We were worried about it being cold as we visited in October however the log burner made it a perfect temperature - we stayed for 2 nights and had a good amount of logs provided. Finally, it unfortunately rained the whole time we were there but the yurt was very wind resistant and still felt very cosy. 

Ultimately it was the perfect getaway.

Yurt Seren was amazing! Can’t wait to return!

We went on the coasteering trip with Jess, and had a fantastic time! Just two of us, she took us out into the water and clibming on the rocks to some good jumping spots- with a little encounragement we did them all. Jess was very friendly and knowledgable about the nature in the area, and made us feel perfectly safe in jumping into the water, and clambering around on the rocky bits! 

All the safety equipment and a wetsuit were provided and fit, would definitly go back to do another activity next time!

Coasteering was brilliant!

We stayed in caban cerrig on top of the hill. Great views, felt like we had our own private camping spot. In the cabin there is a wood burner, firewood, futons, a solar light and picnic benches outside. We brought our own airbed and put that on top of the futons. You can park right outside the cabins. It was really comfy and cosy. 

The last night it was 45 mph winds and we were so glad we were inside. I'd recommend using the shower Pods towards paddlers return as they are a little more private than the main ones.

We ate at the restaurant on site on the last night and had a really good home cooked meal and the staff were great. Try the local ale.

South stack lighthouse nearby is definitely worth a visit and porth darfarch beach is a ten minute walk from the campsite.

Caban Cerrig

Stayed for 2 nights in Seren Yurt.  Really secluded location on the site but just a short walk to the onsite bar and main centre.  The yurt was sparkling clean and had everything we needed.  Loved the wood fired hot tub as did the children.  
Staff were all really friendly, giving us excellent advice on places to go with the children.  We went Coasteering and rock climbing with their instructors and had a fabulous time.  Memories to last a lifetime!

We loved the eco-friendly feel of the whole site.  
The on site bar was excellent.  The food was amazing for the price.  
The whole site was just 5 minutes walk from a fantastic beach.  
Can’t wait to return!!

We booked a morning family coasteering with sons 10 & 12 which we had never done before and we are so glad we did, We has an awesome time it was the highlight of our trip we were swimming, rock climbing and jumping into the sea, there's no pressure if you don't feel confident on a section you can swim on by. We learned so much from James our instructor about the geography and sealife of the area he was so enthusiastic and took time to explain thinks and help out with the kids.
We made memories that will last a lifetime thank you Anglesey Outdoors. 
The only negatives I can think of is that the homemade flap jack is too moreish.. Can't beat free hot tea and cakes when we got back to the centre. 👍 ☺️
