We stopped off here on our journey round the north coast 500. The b & b is situated up a single track road overlooking loch broom. The property is very modern and spotless throughout. The room we had was overlooking loch broom. We had plenty of room to spread out our luggage and make ourselves comfortable. The décor is very warm and homely and we got a good sleep with the bed being very comfortable. This was a return visit and with the high standards we will definitely be back and would not hesitate to recommend Torran to anyone.

First class stay!!!

Lovely b&b on a working farm near the end of a single track road (watch out for sheep and lambs roaming free). Very welcoming host and nice room which was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast room had great views.Breakfast was very good and plentiful.

We spent two nights at the Torran B & B. Our room was nice and the bathroom was almost new. The B & B is quite remote, almost at the end of a single track road on the opposite side of Ullapool at Loch Broom. The B & B is on a farm with sheep, cattle and five trusty guard dogs. The highlight for us were the freshly baked flat scones for breakfast.

Lovely quiet, scenic setting, clean, comfortable accomodation, well furnished. Very nice unintrusive host, but around if needed. Great breakfast, sets you up for the day.Would definately recommend, will return if in the area again.

Bed and breakfast

We stayed for two nights in early June. Beautiful setting and utterly peaceful. Facilities are excellent and we felt really looked after. I must mention the resident's lounge; large and comfortable with panoramic views. The perfect way to spend a rainy Scottish afternoon!

Great place to stay even when unlucky with the weather 

What a little gem, the location is simply stunning and the accommodation was second to none with attention to the tiniest detail. Breakfast was spot on too, we'd definitely go back. The Croat was accessed from a long (a few miles) single track and fairly remote but if you don't mind a drive there are places you can get to to eat. We liked the location because of the views and the peace an quiet. The owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

Stunning

Stayed here for 2 nights May 2017.  Well worth a visit to this B & B.  Delightful property, warm welcome, good food, lovely comfortable bed, very clean, overlooked the loch at the end of a winding country lane where the sheep and lambs roamed.  The owner had 3 sheepdogs (not allowed in the property) and they came for walks with us.  The views over the loch were stunning.  Ullapool not too far away where you could find places to eat.  Plenty of places to visit off the beaten track and beaches to die for.  Water was a bit cold though!

Hidden Gem

B&B off hand compared to ullapool, located on a secondary road on the other side of the loch. The room is very well maintained and quite spacious. Bathroom with new shower. The owners have different animals. Very nice dogs and sheep. Among them the famous Pet..the sheep raised believing himself a dog (there are videos on You tube and a service on national geographic). Breakfast abundant.

It has two bedrooms. Our room by the lake was very spacious. The lady, lovely. A fabulous Scottish breakfast. Very plentiful and with alli products. Details of herb and delicious cookies and candy in the room. The bathroom with all kinds of details. The unique thing, there is nothing to Ullapool 20 minutes away. You are in the maximum tranquility of the countryside and the lake. The stunning views and the wifi... No arrival... It's to disconnect everything.

We were at the end of March 2016 for (unfortunately only) 2 days/nights at Torran B & B to explore the northwestern Highlands. The guest house is part of a farm (including sheep farming). We were warmly received with tea and cookies by the hostess who gave us many good tips for entertainment (walking) and restaurant visits and made sure that during our stay we felt very comfortable. As an animal lover we were excited to have the opportunity to play with the very beloved Border Collies and to get to know Pet the Lamb (a sheep that is well suited for a dog plan The rooms and breakfast room are so well equipped and equipped that we would be able to set up a car park in a car park located about 20 minutes from the nearby lake of fire, which is located right next to the town of Broom, which is a lovely place to enjoy a walk around the lake of fire, which is about 20 minutes from the nearby Ulla B & B.
