This Premiere Inn was a lovely experience. We have stayed in others but this was particularly good. The location is great and the hotel organisation excellent. We were very impressed with the staff, who were so helpful and would like to mention Lindsey in house keeping who couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable and our room immaculate. Thank you.

What a lovely stay!

Firstly, the hotel is hard to find. It'd right off the M5 and easy to spot but we drove around for a while before we discovered how to get to it down a back street. There's no signage.

There's only one terminal to register your car for free parking which must be a pain when it's busy.

We tried the automatic check in but of the three terminals, one was completely out of order and the one we used wasn't working properly so didn't activate the key card and the person bobbing on and off reception had to do it.

The room itself was clean and tidy, though we'd booked a family room ie 2 adults and 1 child and only had two bath towels. With no small towel for the bathroom floor, it got very wet after we'd showered snd we had to ration our towels. The bathroom was clean and well maintained and the shower was good.

The beds were comfortable but I found my pillows quite hard and difficult to sleep on.

The evening meal wasn't a great experience. We'd booked the 'meal deal' and realised some things might have an extra charge. I asked for a cask ale (included) but they didn't have any at all-dont do them at this hotel. So I picked a lager-extra charge. I had the steak and when it arrived they asked if we wanted any sauces and I requested peppercorn-extra charge and I'd have to wait while they prepared it but it wasn't even listed on the menu.

Presumably because we had the meal deal, we didn't get the 'kids eat for £1' promotion so paying for our son's meal plus the extras, we think actually cost us more than NOT doing the so called 'meal deal'!

Breakfast was fine and usual Premier Inn standard. It's buffet style.

Lots of small issues-some of which are for Head Office rather than the hotel

the fan kept clattering all night in a disabled room.  I complained at reception who gave me the guest relations card to claim a refund. Guest relations said I wasn't entitled to one as I should have telephoned reception during the night. So an engineer would come and fiddle with it in the early hours. How could that be a good night sleep?
The restaurant was more like a cafe with high prices and very average food.

Rachael has been really accommodating throughout my stay, she has been a welcoming face each morning/evening while working away from home, she has been helpful with check in and all queries I've had along the way. Warm and bubbly person who has made the week away more personal. An asset to the team here at Cribbs Causeway

Not happy we booked so in advance requested interconnected rooms and this was not processed we are a family of 5 3 children now have to be separated and we be apart fire policies should be reviewed for families it’s ridiculous we have to book two rooms when the kids are small extra cost extra inconvenience and can’t even get the booking right.

Waited a very long time for check in to then be told the interconnected not available despite the fact we booked

Incompetent

I stay at premier inn all over but the staff checked me in the service drink and next where serving my food there are not enough staff be prepared to wait at all stages if you turn up for a table after a long day I was told where fully booked but very few people in restaurant they said we work on 4tables at a time as this is all we can staff so not the best . Make sure you do not order anything from the grill menu as meat is like old boots I stayed for a week so not just one night so tried on different nights

Information you need to know 

I visit this hotel on a regular basis due to the work I do and overall its a nice place to be. Parking is available and is free if you`re staying. Hotel looks very nice inside you also have an option to do self check in but I never used it. The location is Brilliant plenty of shops around as well as a bowling alley and a cinema round the corner which is convenient. Staff are always Helpful and attentive at all times I have visited, They`re always willing to help with any little thing possible which is amazing!. Food is Great good selection on the menu and the breakfast is always fresh which makes a start of the day feel just a little better!

The only issue I had once was with a 3rd party booking agent which my company books through (I shall not name the company responsible for this booking) has made a small hiccup with my booking regarding the payment for the room but after a few phone calls and helpful staff the issue got resolved quite quickly, Again Premier Inn was NOT at fault here and I was really glad I didn`t have to sleep in the van for the night :).

Great Team, Great Food, Overall a nice place to be.

This hotel is less than a mile from the M5. So convenient, very new and fresh and clean. Staff are all very helpful, although the management seem to push them too hard in my opinion. Not that keen on the restaurant but many many eating places very near. Overall very satisfactory.

Great Location & Very Comfy

Nice hotel. Ideal location but lacking customer service from Reception staff. We slept appallingly and when I raised the issue of the pillows needing changing as they were so lumpy I was told ‘thanks for letting us know. I’ll let housekeeping know’! No apology. No acknowledgement that we’d had a rough night. Very disappointed 

Attention to pillows

Incredible support for single disabled people, izzy was kind and friendly by going beyound her job to help and making it possible for people with limited mobility to travel. This is why I always return to premier inns !
