Really lovely hotel, currently going through a refurb programme. Room was spacious, bathroom a little small, but it's just a bathroom hey - great shower though. Well heated, with window to open. Everything you need in an overnight stay - plus a most wonderful, friendly, helpful host. 

Would 100% recommend and would stay again if in the area. 

Wonderful hotel, value for money, fantastic host

It was an easy process to book. Once we had arrived the lady was pleasant and told us all we needed to know.  Offered details on the surrounding area. Overall I found it was an Enjoyable stay. The room was nice and the hotel itself is nice and clean.

We stayed here for one night in June and couldn't have been happier. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms as well as being in an excellent location. Would highly recommend staying here. Excellent stay.

Excellent Stay

Stayed at Wakefield Limes for over 3 weeks on business. When I booked, I looked for ‘breakfast included’ however when I arrived, I found out that it was not a cooked breakfast, but a continental style breakfast placed in your room the previous day. To be honest I was a little disappointed at this but was prepared to see what it was like. To my great surprise, the breakfast was really decent. A choice of cereal, orange juice, croissants, cheese, yoghurt & tea/coffee. This was stored in a small fridge in the room. 
Rooms were clean & spacious, with plenty of room to move around. Beds were comfortable & showers were modern. I also found the staff really friendly and were keen to resolve any issue that arose. 
Location wise, it’s easy to find, but located right next to the M62 motorway. Traffic is noisy, but with the windows closed in the room, the traffic sound is at a minimum. 
If I had to work in Wakefield in the future, I’d definitely stay at Wakefield Limes Hotel again.

Functional, clean & friendly hotel.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Hygiene was excellent, room was lovely and the continental breakfast had plenty of variety. Francesca (Manager) was friendly and quick at responding to all my needs. Parking and finding the hotel was easy and plenty of small local shops and places to eat. Over all very pleased and would reccomend.

Would stay again

I stayed for 4 nights, the room was very clean and had everything you would expect and was very confortable. Nothing was too much trouble and I was made to feel very welcome. It is well located for Leeds and Wakefield and has ample car parking. While there is no food available except for breakfast the hotel has listed all the good resturants within walking distance.

great hotel great stay

The hotel is beautiful, there are having a refurb when I stayed which I was told about. The room itself was beautiful I had a good night's sleep.  The staff are friendly and always available. The only negative thing that I have to say is that there were cobwebs on the wall and dust in places. But that didn't upset my stay, I would 100% stay again.

Firstly staff cosy stay

Stayed here for the weekend whilst visiting family. Room was perfectly pleasant; clean, warm and ensuite seemed almost brand new. 

Only concern would be that I have the impression the hotel may have had some changes. 

Website is out of date in that there in no working restaurant currently. No breakfast (continental or otherwise provided). Rooms did have coffee/tea and fridge. There is also a small market just down the road with a separate cafe located inside the market (though cafe was only taking cash).

Keys collected at lockbox on arrival; and in truth never saw staff in the three days we were there. Rooms were cleaned however so they were there somewhere!

Parking was easy with a large space at front of hotel. The site was set well back from road albeit close to motorway on one side. That said never heard any traffic noise at night and sleep was uninterrupted. 

Given the location (& cost) I would happily stay there again. 

(I would however recommend anyone needing accessible rooms confirm with the site. We had some initial confusion being put on the top floor; with no lift. They noted our request for a twin room, but missed the ‘accessible’ side of things. They did resolve before we arrived however so again can’t fault them).

A few days in Rothwell, Leeds.

Lovely room. Nice and clean. Plenty of space. Everything you'd need. Convenient for motorways and walking distance from where we needed to be. Swift check in. No hassle leaving. Parking space. Comfy bed. Would stay again if needed to be in area. 

Everything that's needed provided. Straightforward, clean and comfy.

The staff are really lovely and helpful especially Francesca. We were arriving late so alternate check in was made for us 
The room is beautifully clean. Check is is 10.30 , we weren't aware of that and assumed a normal 11 - 12 check out, this threw us somewhat as the house keeper woke us at 9.30. We would stay again though because location was perfect for our needs
