A beautiful Grade 1 manor in a beautiful setting. Our room in the main Manor House was splendid. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. A good location for Oxfordshire. Very peaceful and charming. Clean and well set out. Continental breakfast was lovely too. Well recommend

A Grade 1 listed Manor House set in beautiful surroundings

Lovely location. Room was good very comfortable. Only fault was the Wi Fi  rubbish quite frustrating for Business people having  to work
Would be beneficial if they sold some light snacks not just drinks as no restaurant in the evenings. Overall stay great

Charming Place

I undertook a retreat type thing at this Manor House. The rooms are quirky if you like that kind of thing. However, the food was absolutely awful!! Poorly thought out and poorly made. Tasteless and watery. The breakfast is exactly the same which is tedious for a 7 day stay. I had dietary requirements and they catered to them poorly. I woukd never stay here again. !!!!

Awful food, poor service , Nice house

We found Chaney Manor really lovely, a house and garden with character, a real gem.The staff are friendly and helpful and our room was very clean and comfortable.The breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choice and all delicious and fresh.
We hope to return.

Fantastic stay

We have just organised a happy and successful retreat at Charney Manor.  The beauty of this historic building and its gardens, the excellent comfortable accommodation and facilities, the amazingly varied and imaginative food (all vegetarian in this case), and the attention given by the staff to our every need, were outstanding.  We would thoroughly recommend it to organisers of this kind of event.  
The only negative – a very poor mobile phone signal.

A Wondertfuil setting for retreats and small conferences.

We hired the entire venue for a long weekend for a group of 25. The process from start to finish was seamless and brilliant. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms and facilities were perfect. The grounds are picturesque.
Thank you everyone at Charney Manor for an amazing experience. Hope to visit again soon.

Picturesque

We had an overnight stay at Charney Manor after visiting Blenheim Palace with family.
We were shown to our rooms which were in the main building. Both rooms were adequate for our needs, plenty of space with a good choice of tea and coffee. The rooms were nice and dark with minimal noise to disturb our slumbers. Within the building there is an area for socialising and a small library. 
Continental breakfast was self service with a good choice of cereals, fruit and yogurt, eggs were available to boil in addition to bread, cold meats, cheese and croissants. A separate counter area was available for  people who required gluten free breakfast with their own toaster clearly labelled for gluten free bread only. 
Although not a problem our only negative was that the shower was small but this wasn’t an issue for us. 
Would I stay at Charney Manor again - yes, and would have no hesitation recommending it to others.

Great find

I went looking for a place of quiet and peace in order simply to recharge. Charney Manor proved to be perfect. 
Set in a quiet village and beautiful countryside it was a delight.
I was housed in a single, en-suite room which was well maintained and cleaned and very comfortable.
Staff were friendly and helpful and I felt very welcome.
I spent part of each day in the delightful grounds, enjoying in the middle of a heatwave, the shade of it's many trees.
I look forward to my next stay there in the not-to-distant future. 

My first, but certainly not  my last, stay at Charney Manor

A small group of us stayed here for an annual get-together and retreat. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Our rooms were all lovely, with ground floor rooms provided for those who needed them. We were fully catered for throughout with an endless supply of tea, coffee, homemade cakes, and excellent meals. The staff could not have been more courteous and helpful. The buildings and grounds are lovely with plenty of space to sit out in the warm weather and lovely walks and attractions nearby if needed. We would thoroughly recommend Charney Manor as a peaceful play to stay.

Crafting Retreat

I was totally surprised by the total experience because this venue is more often used as a retreat,  However, my stay was very nice and I enjoyed the peace that it offered,  No food was available and apparently not many choices nearby,  Overall, a good night's sleep!
