Just looking at the picture of Glenora Guest House makes my heart warm,  remembering the wonderful time we had there.  Julie and Paul quickly felt to us like friends, as did the other guests as well.  Comfortable and beautiful accommodations and the most tasty food in an elegant dining room made magnificant Whitby a truly  memorable experience. I would love to return some day.

Home Away From Home --Glenora Guest House

Visited for weekend stay accommodation was spotless .Julie and her Husband owners were very friendly and helpful. Lovely cooked breakfast each morning would definitely recommend this lovely little B&B. Clean towels were provided , Wi- Fi and TV in room . Thank you both for a welcoming stay .

Lovely weekend stay

Glenora is a fabulous guest house. The rooms are spotless, as is the rest of the house. Julie and Paul are lovely people and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious with fresh, local produce. I would highly recommend a stay at Glenora.

Fabulous Glenora

Fantastic stay , fantastic company , reminded me of how going away used to be when I was younger , was made to feel right at home from the minute we arrived , the place it's self is very nice and comfortable, breakfast is outstanding , would not hesitate to to recommend this place or to visit again .

First visit will definitely be returning. Friendly hosts clean and for someone who is very picky about breakfast / fried food it was excellent. Room was nice and it was quiet at night. We could walk into Whitby which was a bonus. See you next year  !

Easter break

Just on way home from Whitby thank you Julia and Paul for a wonderful stay at the Glenora. We took the family with us this time my daughter granddaughters and grandson and also my sister. It is spotlessly clean the breakfast is wonderful and so easy to walk into the centre of Whitby. The family can't wai to go back see you in September 👍

Easter in Whitby 

The rooms are very clean. Breakfast is really nice. 5 min walk into Whitby. Really quiet at night to get a good nights sleep. Would definitely recommend. The owners are very accommodating. Looking forward to coming back next year. We stayed in a house on west cliff last year which was not very clean and a lot more expensive. The price here is very reasonable and very  clean.

Lovely stay, definitely be back

Thank you Julia and Paul for another lovely weekend. The room was absolutely spotless really nicely furnished. Very comfortable. The breakfasts are very good top quality bacon, sausage etc. A few minutes walk into Whitby. Thank you for wine always remembering our anniversary 👍. Xx

Anniversary visit

Well what can I say about hotel Glenora. 
Very clean , good hosts , Julia and Paul are great . We consider the Glenora as our second home. We went for Whitby Regatta 2022 as a little holiday of 4 days. We heard the Red Arrows but couldn't see them as it was rather misty. 
The breakfast was absolutely fantastic 👌. 
Couldn't get enough of it although Julia offered more .
The weather was great until Monday night when we had a small storm , so we went back to the Glenora.

Good Times Had By All

We arrived at Glenora Guest House and was greeted by Julia who made us feel so welcome. We were shown to our room which was absolutely gorgeous, beautifully decorated and very spacious along with  tea and coffee making facilities. Plenty of cupboard space for clothes, bathroom was immaculate with beautiful white fluffy towels. WiFi included and added bonus we forgot our phone charger but didn’t need to panic as the plugs had USB ports.Absolutely everything was though if.  Breakfast was cooked to perfection. It’s a perfect location just a short walk to the local shops and restaurants. We were so happy with our choice of guest house  we will definitely be rebooking.
