Rang up on spur of the moment to book and ask if they accepted dogs , staff said theyed find out & get back in 5 mins !! Which they did , lovely friendly hotel staff very welcoming room nice & just what we wanted . Lovely breakfast , can’t fault the place and would definitely recommended it , good value for money , and use again 

Nice friendly hotel 

Left something behind and telephined after we had travelled an hour home to ask if the item could be posted. We offered to pay for postage as item has sentimental value. After owner finding item in our room he said he would post it. A week later we chased said item and someone else said it hadn’t been posted. Confirmed with owner the following day item was in the post. 1 week later still no item, tried to call several times to get confirmation of postage eg proof of postage to track and now our number has been blocked!!!

Awful customer service

We stayed in Grantley House for 3 nights. Our room was warm, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Lovely original fireplace and a HUGE television! Very nice quality bed linen and towels. The ensuite bathroom was contemporary and very clean. Our host was welcoming, helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were fabulous. There was an excellent choice for the full English and it was beautifully cooked, with white or brown toast, and fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, orange juice, all also available. Very quiet, no street noise, and just a 3 minute walk to the shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grantley House, and will definitely be going back.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast

Dont no where the people have stayed before that say this is Good hotel well Expand your travel thats all I can say. Stayed for long weekend n got there Friday n thought it looked shabby to say the least 🤔 was an understatement and got back Saturday tea time hoping to have a nice long hot shower ha ha no chance not working n no 1 to talk to saw young guy whom lived there n he said he would ring the owner what a waste of space never came to room 4 at all had to get washed in a little sink n wash my hair and everything cross was a understatement please take my advice and pay 10 pounds more if that and never come here you wont be satisfied i can vouch for it Worse place I have EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stayed Jane Smith aka Jaxon was the name of the booking the owner that wasn't there

What can I say we came to this b&b for a weekendend away for a little hoonymoon  we was very disappointed  view from our window dog poo, bed you could feel every spring going. Damp in the room , the bathroom  well shower room as you can see in the pictures not great grout on top of grout towel rails falling off the toilet  seat to one side. 
Main door to room looked liked it had been kicked. We paid £170.00 for 2 night only thing what was nice was the breakfast.  And the young guy poliet.  Would not recomend at all . I have sent emails to booking.com offer was €25 back what a joke .no email back from grantley house yet.

Stayed in the room with the four poster bed. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. 
Breakfast was really nice. Full English, fruit, cereal, toast, tea and coffee provided. Given a menu the night before so we could pick what we wanted and the time we would be down. 
The host was very welcoming nothing too much trouble. 
Parking fine. Just parked down the road. Was given a permit for our two night stay. Then on the last day we were given a day one even though we checked out at 10am with no extra charges! 
Location was great, just a 10 minute walk down to all the bars and restaurants. There’s a little cut through down some steps which brings you out at the side of Harry’s bar. We had dinner here at Harry’s as they serve till late.

Welcoming

It is located just a few steps from the sea and offers impeccable service. The operators have been very kind and the room, which is very nice, is equipped with everything that can be served and is located in the West Cliff area where you can enjoy a breathtaking view.
