Booked for 2 nights for a few days away. One of the best guest houses I’ve ever stayed in. Comfortable, clean and a breakfast to die for. Would definitely book again. Parking wasn’t too bad either £10 for 2 nights I think is a bargain. 

Fantastic stay. 

We stayed for three nights in September and had a great time. Our room was spacious and very clean with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and we slept well.
Simon and his wife are fantastic hosts. We were made to feel very welcome.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and we were never hurried out of breakfast at the end of service.
It was great value for money and we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

A Warm Welcome

Me and my husband have had a 2 night stay at this lovely guesthouse, the location is amazing, the hosts were lovely, and the breakfast was amazing, our bed was so comfortable the room had everything we needed, we will definitely be returning, thank you for a fabulous weekend x

4 of us stayed for the 6th year running August Bank holiday the stay was as good as it always was. But was very astounded as the price of the parking pass had gone up 100% from £5 to £10 ( how can this be justified ) when Scarborough Borough Council charge no where near this to the proprietors of the Hotels . As we we're leaving on the last day we went to book again as we normally do for the same dates and same rooms for next year we were informed by Jenny she couldn't take our booking 12 months in advance this year as she normally does, as she hadn't got her book with her ?? seemed odd at the time but she assured us that if we phoned up in the new year they could take our booking as usual and the online booking system would then be also available online we asked but the rooms may be gone and she assured us they wouldn't be. Surprise surprise happened to look on line yesterday and guess what ? fully booked up. Just to let you know that to Simon and Jenny loyalty means NOTHING !! We have now had the invconvenience of having to try and get alternative accomodation which has been very difficult as Whitby is a very popular place but we have managed it, but we could have looked weeks ago and probably had more choice if The Corner Guest house had been a bit more honest with us. Don't know why they did what they did to us when all we have ever been is loyal returning guests year after  year maybe it was because we didn't need their over inflated parking pass as we had a spare one from a visit to whitby earlier on in the year ?? 


LOYALTY !! A dirty word eh ?

We were lucky to get in for August Bank holiday weekend. We paid £285 for 3 nights with breakfast included. Parking is on the surrounding streets which we parked for £10 with a visitor permit.
The host was excellent and also good enough to leave you alone. 
The room was excellent and a good size. We were In room 5 on the top floor. Shower good, tv OK but kept losing signal. Because of the poor signal not alot of channels to choose from but it wasn't a problem. The bed was comfy.
The breakfast was brilliant you could have cereal, toast and then help yourself to a cooked breakfast. Plenty of tea and juice as well. The host couldn't do enough for you at breakfast. The location is perfect apart from having to go up and down a hill to get to the town centre and seafront plus its next to a busy road which might be too noisy for some. We think it's maybe the best bed and breakfast we've stayed at!!
We would definitely stay here again.


The best b&b where we've stayed?

My young son and I were well looked after by friendly, helpful hosts. An excellent location that is in easy walking distance of both the beach and the town. Whitby is a super place. Despite the rain we had a great time.

Friendly and helpful

Room was clean with white sheets and thick fluffy towels. We had two nice armchairs to relax in with a cup of tea or coffee. Lovely breakfast with lots to choose from. Would definitely stay at this B&B again.

Second visit to this charming cottage. Location is second to none it’s so central yet peaceful at the same time.
Host is thoughtful, leaving everything you need for a cuppa when you first arrive.
Beds are comfortable and the cottage is well maintained.
Loved our stay.

Perfect location and home from home

Stayed at the corner house hotel for 2 nights in May. This was our second stay. Excellent breakfast best of anywhere we've stayed.Clean room ,lovely bedding & towels. Excellent location great hosts thankyou will stay again .

Excellent stay

Excellent location, not far from the whalebones
. We had lovely clean rooms and the owners were very friendly.  There was lots of choice at breakfast, with the usual hot and cold food and was mainly self service.
