We were apartment 4, top floor. Please note plenty of stairs, not for the faint hearted.
We managed ok, as a younig (ish) family of 3. The room itself was lovely. Probably the first time i've stayed somewhere and havent wanted to run over the place with an anti bac wipe. Was spotless.

A double bed and Bunkbeds, ideal for our family of 3. Everything you need in the kitchen too. Great location. Managed to get parked very close, even though it was bank holiday weekend. We had a great holiday and would highly recomend these apartments.

Fabulous Apartment, will definately stay again

Been to Whitby but 1st stay at this Apartment.
Benita and Mike are excellent host’s. We stayed in Apartment 2 which could easily accommodate 4 adults and 2?kids as bunk beds in master bedroom and pull out double bed in lounge. Decorated to a high standard and only 150 yards from Beach. Ideally located for all amenities. I would certainly recommend and will definitely be returning.

First stay

Wow wow wow!!! Beautiful and well equipped apartment with a sea view. Lots of stairs to apartment 4 where we stayed but it was worth the climb. Right at the heart of west cliff, easy walk to the beach and all the amenities of Whitby. The parking permits are also a real help. Thank you Fayvan

Amazing

We have been visiting fayvan apartments  every year for the last 15 years. I wouldnt want to chose anywhere else. Benita and Mike are lovely hosts and very friendly. The apartments are brilliant, have everything you need to enjoy self catering holiday with fantastic views. 
There is stairs up to the apartments but that has never  bothered us my son first holidays was there  when he was 6 months old. 
Anyone visiting Whitby i would recommend this place.

Fantastic place

We have just enjoyed a fabulous 4 day break in Whitby at the lovely Fayvan Apartments. We were in apartment 2 with a great view of the sea. Benita and Mike are fabulous hosts, very welcoming and helpful and the fresh flowers, tea, coffee and milk were a lovely touch. The apartment is large and well decorated, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you would need. Parking is very close and Benita organised a parking permit for the duration of our stay. The apartment is in an excellent location on the seafront and it's only a short walk into town to all the shops and restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to seeing you again in October.

Wonderful apartment in excellent location

Always a fantastic stay at Fayvan Apartments! We were met at the door by the amazing host and helped up the stairs with our bags. The apartment was stunning, overlooking the sea (great location) and the bed was the best I have ever slept in! We would highly recommend & will be looking to book again some time next year.

Fayvan feels like home

Fantastic location, big comfy beds, perfect for an extended family - so even if there is adults and children, didnt spend alot of time in the apartment but it was comfortable and had everything we needed and more, would want to stay longer - it would be perfect :) 

Interesting place to stay!

We stayed in apartment three. It is quite a trek up the stairs but the place is clean, light and airy, with views over the seafront. We were a party of three and it was comfortable for sleeping, lounging and cooking. A parking permit is available for the adjacent council car park. Very close to the beach, town centre and harbour.

Nice apartment in an ideal location

Such a horrible time 6flights of stairs with a hip replacement without warning about the amount of stairs carrying a 17mnth is not fun bed bad slept on the floor toilet well dont flush properly and the shower well also had a knack of putting it on

Never again

We stayed in Apartment 2 and the only thing that would make look for an alternative is if there were more than two of us on a return trip, simply because there’s only one bathroom which is accessed through the bedroom. So if there are children in bed (this room has a double and bunk beds) you’d possibly disturb them. Or if another couple stayed and had the pull down bed in the lounge then they’d disturb whoever was sleeping in the main bedroom. 

But that really is the only thing we could say was a negative. Mike & Bernita have thought about every need - from copious amounts of cutlery, plates and cups to a range of games and DVD’s for children (and grown up children haha!). The apartment was spotlessly clean, the bed extremely comfortable and more than enough towels in the bathroom. 

We will definitely return here on our next trip to Whitby. It’s location is great - close to the beach and town but not on a main thoroughfare so noise is not an issue.
