This establishment is now offered as Rooms at Uphill i.e. Bed without the Breakfast. Apparently you can have some breakfast - though not, we think, cooked breakfast - at an extra cost. We stayed two nights at start of July. The location is convenient for the area; the facilities described are wildly overstated ("luxury accommodation" is quite cramped, car parking is just local free space, restaurant is not currently operating). It is clean and tidy. £70 is not a great bargain locally. There was a problem with the hot water on our first night - later fixed - and if they provide in-room tea facilities etc then (as reviewed elsewhere) it's rather mean NOT to refill them for the 2nd night. Could do better.

B&B without the B

We were made to feel at home here, lovely quiet relaxed b&b 
The place has had a lot of money spent on refurbishments and it shows the bedroom wasn't the biggest but plenty for us, the shower was lovely hot and powerful 

Lovely little gem

Nicely decorated room although very cramped with a large bed.Newly decorated bathroom, shame they did not clean/check  the under sink cupboard before letting the room.Two night sleep ruined by other inconsiderate guests leaving very early in the morning but the owners would not know this as the guests are left on there own by night,just wonder what would happen if there was an emergency?No onsite parking,just leave your car where you can find space.
The food was good and the chef was friendly.

Just returned from a two-night stay at the Old Hall Accommodation, located around 5 minute drive/20 minute walk from the Weston Super Mare seafront. The staff on arrival were great, and was happy with the room; comfortable bed and a nice bathroom (which includes underfloor heating), and coffee/tea included with a filtered kettle. Slight mark down as one of the spoons didn't look like it had been cleaned, and my friend's room had some snacks and rubbish left in the drawers from a previous guest. Breakfast in the morning was good; cereal followed by a full English, with juice, tea or coffee and toast included. I believe Parking is street only; there are some spaces opposite, I could see this perhaps being a problem during high season. Overall, happy with Old Hall, and would stay again.

Nice two-night stay 

.A nicely decorated room and attractive drapes do NOT make this "Boutique Accommodation".  It's in a great location, but sadly the owners made no effort whatsoever with getting the details right, and at £70 room only they should do more - hopefully if they read this then they might try a little harder.  I was told they don't live on the premises, but in the room there was no literature at all - no welcome, no info on how to access the wifi, nothing about fire/emergency procedures, nothing on the beautiful local area.  All there was was a menu for their restaurant - it's a good restaurant (I've reviewed it positively previously), but some basic communication would have been much more useful.  The small wardrobe for some reason had a single mattress stuffed into it, making it unusable. (Though a previous guest had left two small bra hangers in there, still with price tags attached - were we REALLY meant to hang bras in the wardrobe?) The extractor fan in the shower room (no bath) didn't work.  There was no wastebin in the bedroom.  One of the bedside lamps was actually broken in two, the top half balanced nicely on the base.   Check in at noon on Saturday, check out at 10 on Sunday - 4 teabags between two people is both unrealistic and plain mean. This could be a really lovely place to stay, but only if the owners start treating their guests with much more respect, and actually make a bit of an effort over the details.

a missed opportunity

We got stuck in Weston super mare yesterday with a dog and two small children. It had taken us hours to get there as the M5 incident affected our trip home....we booked this hotel through booking.com which mis-sold us a family room which was actually a double. The manager was gracious and kind as all the staff pulled together to get the room ready and squeezed us all in.... thanks so much we rested well and have made it home today refreshed. Much appreciated
