Arrived at 6pm to find that the caravan had no power except lights , the fridge wasn't working nor was the freezer and we had things that needed to go straight into these .
One bulb was out in the dining area and the table in the kitchen was so wobbly that we couldn't sit at it IT WAS DANGEROUS. They sent a maintenance guy who couldn't find why power wasn't on and I asked are these not checked and turned on ready for guests he said suppose to .
The guy tried to fix table but condemned it an hour later he found the fuse to turn everything on .
By this time my 5 year old hadn't eaten and was ready for bed it was 7.20pm . We complained at reception now I can not fault this lady she was so helpful and moved us to a different caravanafter seeing my video of table and then gave us some vouchers for dinner we ate in club house at 8 pm the steak was amazing . The van given wasn't as nice though and was opposite bins and too close to club house but it had to do at 830pm at night.
We had a superior van but beware no towels yes it says it amongst the confusing information on there site but the classic package doesn't say whether you get towels or not , I would rather not have a dishwasher and have towels people shouldn't have to pack these and we were only here for 3 nights .After being moved they did provide towels
The site is quite and staff lovely food amazing on site , swimming pool good .
I don't think we will be back here unfortunately just because it gave us a bad start which ruined a 45 birthday surprise

Not the best

This is our second visit for four nights. We love this park, it’s so clean and the facilities are of a good standard. What makes it for us is the entertainment team. We have a one year old boy and four year old girl. Rachel, Ben and Charlie are brilliant and we all had so much fun. My heart was melting as my little girl danced to frozen songs on stage with Rachel and my little boy giving a high five to Vic the dinosaur. Thank you to all three for a great week we will never forget it. 
The caravan was great, again really clean and well equipped. My only build would be towels, the classic caravan doesn’t come with towels and I completely forgot. I would rather pay a few more pounds and they be included.

Brilliant for families

For the second year in a row, we have had the best time at Chesil! 2 adults, 4 kids and a miniature dachshund. 
My booking was for 3 children originally, but upon checking in (1.5 hours early as the caravan was ready!!) I mentioned that we would have a 4th child with us. This was no problem (slept 6) and the receptionist gave us another pass straight away.
Caravan (West Bay 42) was so clean and lovely. Fully equipped with everything you would need for a great week away. 
My children swam everyday and we enjoyed the evenings. Shout out to Ben on the entertainment team who made my little girls holiday by awarding her winner of a game! 
We had a busy week as the park is in such a great location to explore the area! We visited Lulworth Cove, Monkey World, Bowleaze Cove, Corfe Castle, went on the steam train! Portland lighthouse, fish & chips on Weymouth harbour. Can't wait to return!

Fabulous family holiday!

A well run holiday park.The emphasis is definetly on guests having a great holiday experience and is what sets waterside chisel beach apart from other holiday parks.Had a great short break with my young family and will definetly stay again.

Just returned from a fabulous 4 night break at Chesil Beach Holiday Park -  our first visit, although we have previously visited Bowleaze Cove which is also owned by Waterside. As it was my father-in-law’s special birthday, both sets of grandparents joined us and my brother-in-law’s family too. A huge thank you to Katie who was so helpful in booking us caravans close together and answering all my questions during my telephone booking. You really helped make our family celebration plans come together and we really appreciated your help. Katie and all the team at Reception were so friendly and helpful when we arrived and throughout our stay. We stayed in Deluxe caravans and they were immaculately clean (thank you to the house keeping team - you do a great job to a high standard) with beds made up, fresh towels, dishwasher (dishwasher tablets included as part of the welcome pack) and a lovely decking area with table and chairs. The spec of the caravan exceeded our expectations and the beds were very comfortable ensuring we all had a good night’s sleep. We used the swimming pool every morning and the children loved the water slide. Pool was clean and the life guards were friendly and attentive. Our children attended some of the morning activities hosted by the Starside Crew. They loved the Hydro Rockets and the Mystery Quest. We loved that ‘The Venue’ for evening entertainment was on site and had a more intimate feel than Bowleaze Cove. We enjoyed the family challenges and pre show entertainment as well as some of the shows. The Entertainment Team all work so hard and were so friendly. There were warm invites to get involved but no pressure when we chose to sit and watch.  We enjoyed the sing-a-long show the most. A special shout out to Ben who was great at interacting with everyone and was also a great singer. 
The bar staff were all friendly and we were always served quickly. We really appreciated the cleanliness in the bar area too, no sticky tables, and empty glasses were cleared away quickly. 
We ate breakfast in the Breeze Bar and Grill a few times during our stay. The food was tasty, the restaurant was clean and the service fantastic on each occasion we visited. My daughter loved the soft play, especially the zip line, and made lots of friends during our stay. My son enjoyed a few games of pool and visiting the amusement arcade although would prefer to see fewer claw machines. The park was well located for visiting Weymouth and the surrounding area.
There was a lovely coastal walk into Weymouth from across the road from the park and we were able to catch a bus back. The bus stop is just outside the park. We also visited the ‘Wishing Well’ in Upwey for a fabulous lunch. It had a beautiful garden to explore too. We spent an afternoon visiting the D Day interactive museum in Portland. It isn’t very big but is so interactive. There were lots of vehicles to climb on and into, uniforms to dress up in and weapons to hold. It was fascinating to find out about the history of the importance of Castletown, Portland on D Day. A great afternoon for all ages to enjoy and appreciate, and as it is mostly inside, a great place to visit when it is raining.
We loved our visit to Chesil Beach Holiday Park and the only things that we think could be improved are the amusement arcade and maybe a visiting comedian or illusionist to vary the evening entertainment for adults (Appreciate that  it was the Easter Holidays when we visited so the visiting magician was aimed at the younger visitors) 
Chesil Beach Holiday Park was smaller than Bowleaze Cove  but had the same high standards of an immaculately kept site and cleanliness that are so important to us. We loved Chesil Beach Holiday Park and appreciated the relaxed vibe and friendliness that we encountered from every member of the team and fellow guests. We will definitely return. Thank you all, for making our multi-generational family break, one to remember.

Very well run holiday park.all members is staff were polite and friendly.caravan was clean,modern and well equiped.ideally situated for walking to chesil beach,portland and to Weymouth on a traffic free trail.

Mid week break

This was a repeat visit to the park which seemed even better this year. 
The park is positioned in sight of Chesil beach and the sea. It is spotlessly clean everywhere in the caravan and outside. The staff were SO helpful and kind. We had an issue with tree branches blocking out light to the path at night because it was the end of September. The maintenance staff attended to the problem swiftly and courteously. Security were always helpful and welcoming as well as helping us feel safe at all times.
Swimming pool is great to swim and there is a jacuzzi, sauna and slide for big kids and a little baby water area. That is a great selling point for me.
The entertainment team were great, both as hosts and performers. They produced some high quality shows with great singing and dancing. We enjoyed seeing this emerging talent. There were several visiting acts including a ventriloquist, the Sneaky Blinders and Abba tribute stood out for me.

We have stayed at Chesil vista holiday park in a superior caravan it was a fantastic park the holiday accommodation was perfect like home from home our caravan was amazing really stunningly beautiful, I could find nothing more perfect well worth the money

Caravan was clean and well appointed. Beds comfortable. Especially loved the dishwasher and full size fridge/freezer.
Entertainment good. Friendly and helpful staff especially happy smiley young lady in the bar. 

A good week

Amazing week away as our first holiday since having a baby boy, caravan was very clean and comfortable, we were provided with towels and washing up stuff. Cot and high chair was available for the baby. Everything was up to standards. All staff throughout the sight were brilliant, very friendly and welcoming. Lovely views from reception overlooking the sea, not far from town centre and the local beach which is also very lovely. Highly recommended to any family’s with young children.
