Lovely B&B right on the beach. We stayed in the attic room (room 8) which was compact for 3 of us but had everything we needed & the beds were very comfortable. Ian & Julia were very welcoming and the little touches like bottles of milk & water to help yourself to were appreciated. Julia was so friendly and kindly helped us find a discount code for the sealife centre when I'd left ours at home. The breakfasts were lovely with lots of choice. We had a wonderful stay here.

Friendly guest house right on the beach

Absolutely fantastic little B&B! 
The great experience starts by being greeted by the friendly owners.
There is milk and bottled water in a fridge which is accessible all the time.
There sachets of coffee, tea, sugar and hot chocolate on each landing.
You can have your room serviced easily.
The view is breathtaking, straight out to sea from your window if you chose a sea view room.
It is clean and well maintained with hairdryer/tv/ kettle/ fan/ heating/ plenty of plugs with usb/ WiFi.
The breakfast there is great, the ingredients are carefully picked from other nearby local businesses. The full English breakfast is a must along with the coffee which is freshly made. All good is made to order and they care fir allergies.
At breakfast there are berries and fruit, cereal, toast, juices, yoghurts.
You can also have American pancakes with bacon and maple syrup.
Omelette, eggs any way you want or a bacon sandwich.
You can also order a sandwich or breakfast basket to your room.
Ian and Julia are very friendly, efficient and professional in a wholesome way without even trying.

Great location, quiet and peaceful with lovely sea views.

Easy to walk to restaurants and bars, with the train station nearby. Lovely beach and harbour, with plenty to do and a boat trip to enjoy.

Breakfast was superb, with a wide range of choice.

We were made to feel so welcome from the second we arrived and that continued for the entirety of our stay.

The views were breath taking, the room was perfect and bed so very comfortable, I don't think we actually turned the TV on as we were mesmerised by the view and hypnotic sound of the waves of the sea.

Breakfast each morning was absolutely gorgeous and completely faultless, many thanks to super chef Ian who is also an amazing artist too, we shall be hanging his artwork of the Portland Bill lighthouse as pride of place in our home. Julia was always so friendly and helpful with her knowledge of the area and very useful advice.

We cannot recommend Whitecliff Guest House highly enough and whenever we return to Weymouth, without a doubt this will be our first choice.

Beautiful, Stunning and absolutely perfect

Thank you for a fantastic stay in Weymouth! The single room over looking the sea was perfect. It was so nice to have a small double bed sold as a single, it made all the difference to a comfortable nights sleep, as well as the good quality mattress.
The choice of breakfast is excellent, and vegetarians are very well catered for. The veggie black pudding was an extra special touch and very tasty!
Julia and Ian are very accommodating, friendly and welcoming, making it an extra special stay.

Great place to stay.

Perfect location, couldn’t be any closer to the beach. Lots of local walks to explore and a seafront walk I to Weymouth town and had our. Beautiful sea view rooms, delicious breakfast and perfect hosts .Thank you Julia and Ian.

A lovely weekend getaway

I have just returned from spending my 80th birthday weekend at the Whitecliff guest house in Weymouth. It was a super experience, Ian and Julia run a fantastic guest house. They made me  feel very welcome and immediately at home. My room was spotlessly clean and had been tastefully decorated to celebrate my birthday. The breakfast menu is great and Ian is a super cook. Julia provided us with her excellent local knowledge which was a great help as we were unfamiliar with the area. I would recommend the Whitecliff guest house to anyone and I hope to return there again as Ian and Julia were excellent hosts, thank you so much.

My 80th birthday weekend

We stopped here for the weekend as we were celebrating a family birthday. Ian and Julia went the extra mile by decorating the guest of honour's bedroom and the main dining room with balloons and banners. They were so friendly and helpful to the whole party. Prior to our arrival, they sent through some details of local restaurants and takeaways we could eat at. Friends and family were arriving from all over the UK and one party was delayed in Friday traffic, they were very understanding and waited up until they arrived. The rooms and facilities were comfortable with everything you need; comfy beds, powerful shower, reliable wi-fi, flat screen tv and nice toiletries. The breakfasts were superb (I recommend the Eggs Benedict). This place is an absolute gem and you should stay here if you want a great place to stay in Weymouth

Amazing guest house with superb breakfasts

We enjoyed a 2 night stay this lovely guest house with our dog Max. Julia and Ian are wonderful hosts with Julia going the extra mile to ensure that her guests needs are catered for. Her friendly approach is so refreshing making you feel like a valued customer rather than just a booking. She had a wealth of knowledge about Weymouth and surrounding history and pointed us in the direction on one of the most beautiful walks we’ve done along the coastal paths of Weymouth and Osmington. Ian’s breakfast…..nothing other than perfect and delicious. Our dog Max enjoyed his sausage sandwiches too. The location is perfect with good access to shops and local restaurants. The beach is literally on the doorstep. What else could you want? Highly recommend this guest house and it’s hosts 10/10 from us. We will be back in the future.
