We had a lovely stay at this well positioned guest house. The hosts are very welcoming, the room well equipped, bed really comfy and the breakfast was delicious. It was top quality and freshly made using prime ingredients. Would absolutely recommend a stay here.

Top quality guest house in an excellent position

Right from the beginning the communication was excellent and the hosts were friendly and attentive. The room itself was pristine with top notch facilities and possibly the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. My parter and I were agreed that the whole stay was something special and the truly exceptional breakfast was the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back next time we’re Whitby bound!

Lovely clean spacious room, amazing hot shower.. fresh milk for tea & coffee in room. 
Stayed here just got one night with my 2 children. Breakfast was hot and so yummy. Lots of choice and all delivered to the room in a create. Kids loved it. Thank you. ☺️

Welcoming, cozy, spacious room lovely breakfast.

Great location and excellent facilities (including parking).

We stayed in the Ruswarp room, which had a four poster bed and a large bathroom.

Plenty tea/coffee/milk in the room and there is also a fridge in the hallway downstairs, which is kept stocked up with additional milk etc.  

Great breakfast selection, in which you preorder and  is brought to your room.

Highly recommend.

Fantastic stay with Parking

The venue has amazing large, comfortable rooms, a fantastic breakfast with a late check out time, and to top it all off, amazing people looking after you. 

It’s a short walk from the beach and centre, what made the trip so much better!

From the message before we arrived to say the room was ready early right uo ti departure the stay was si relaxing. The breakfast hamper was a great treat with plenty if options you would normally have to pay more for that service. Our four poster room was beautiful with even a lavazza coffee machine. The hosts were really helpful and available ti answer questions. With a private parking space for every room we will be back thank you Hillcrest.

Lovely visit!

Had a brilliant stay in this luxury Guesthouse. Stayed for 2 nights . Super comfy king size bed , room decor lovely ,good walk in shower with luxury toiletries ,also loved having our breakfast delivered to our room in a crate . Fab location ,only 10 min downhill walk . Overall great stay , and would definitely return . 


Hillcrest Guesthouse - fab 5star rating 

We had a midweek break at the Hillcrest in a superior room. A large room with plenty of storage, the bed was comfortable and there was a coffee machine as well as a kettle. The ensuite was large and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was chosen the day before and was brought to the door at your requested time.  Quality breakfast with a good choice, loved the overnight oats. Ideally situated with Hilllcrest being a short walk to the centre. Greig and Laura are lovely hosts and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. Will definitely be staying here again.
