Called on the spur of the moment looking to book an overnight stay and Becca was very helpful, booked us in over the phone.  We stayed in Room 1 which was very tastefully decorated.  Very comfy bed and pillows. Plenty of tea, coffee,  sugar and milk.  We also had our pooch with us, and there was loads of room to put his crate up too. 
Lovely to have a sofa to relax on as well. 
Bathroom is excellent,  spotless and a great rainfall shower. Location is spot on  for centre of Whitby and the pobs, restaurants and sites! Will be back for a longer stay soon.

Little gem in the centre of Whitby!

We had a really nice stay at the Sanders Yard which is ideally placed, car parking is only a 5-10 min walk away so that was fine. We did have the Attic room which had plenty of space with low beams (be warned lol) and a separate bathroom which is is the only other door on the same floor and next to the room. We didn't book breakfast so couldn't comment but would I stay again, 100% yes.

Lovely B&B in a great location

Enjoyed our stay at  Sanders yard, so central.  Easy self check in. Instructions very clear.  Stayed in room 3

Room was spotless clean,  plenty tea/ coffee etc., cups and glasses. Disappointed no biscuits to have with cuppa, nothing major tho and bought some instead. ( noted other reviews got biscuits)

Bedding was good quality and bed so comfortable. 

Only negative thing was that there was no radiator in the bathroom. Was January  and cold outside so was freezing when needed to use bathroom.

Fab break away

I’ve always wanted to stay here and as the price in January was reasonable, I took a punt and stayed JADE ATTIC. 
Communication was great and the entrance was easy to find (it’s through a little alley nearby). Self check in was simple. 
The room was spacious and very clean.  You get excellent free WiFi reception, standard coffee/tea (with free Mrs Bothams biscuits… 👍🏽). Nice decor all around. The bed is comfy. There are a set of drawers for clothes but no wardrobe. Instead there are a few hangers and hooks. Which didn’t cause a problem. 
The bathroom is next to the room so it means leaving the bedroom and crossing a step to get there. Odd at first but you get used to it. There is no shower but a lovely bath! The bathroom was big with plenty of space. 
Some hints. 
It’s at the top of the building (as it called Jade Attic!) so there are stairs to climb. Also a lot of beams… so you will constantly be ducking. Plenty of lights and the plug sockets are next to the bed with USB sockets in case you have forgotten a charging plug! 
You can hear the church bells but it added to the atmosphere. 
Overall, it was a lovely stay in the centre of Whitby. 
Parking is an issue so get to Whitby early and park at Langbourne Rd car park (£9 for 24 hours). 

Beam Me Up!

The chocolate shop is in the perfect location in the centre of Whitby, in walking distance of everything we wanted to do while in Whitby. The cottage is perfectly set out, immaculate and lovely fluffy carpets and comfy bedding. The owners were very helpful and did everything they could to make it as nice as possible for us. I will definitely be booking again for next year!

Really lovely, cosy rooms with everything you need for a short stay in beautiful Whitby. Location couldn’t be better, and the rooms have the comfiest beds and a great shower! We loved it so much that we have just booked again for a festive weekend in December!

A really lovely place to stay

Hidden gem in the heart of the old town. Tucked off the main road
Self service check in was simple and went by without any problems.
We had room 2 which had a double bed, tv, kettle and double shower.
We did not eat here so cannot comment 
We did have a mishap when the bed broke but that was quickly rectified following a phone call to the owners. 
Definitely a high end accommodation in the heart of Whitby

5 star room and service!!! Absolutely perfect! Text messaging from owners on day of arrival! Just loved our attic room! Would definitely return! The location is perfect right in the centre of the town parking is expensive at £9 for 24 hrs! But there could be parking cheaper if you know the area!!! Loads of pubs, cafes nearby! Very dog friendly, which suited us with our little jack Russel!!! 

Amazing place to stay!!!

We stayed for Goth Weekend in Dove Cottage opposite the Bistro. It is a lovely cottage equipped with all you need. Lovely furnishings throughout, comfy sofas in lounge. Decor has a lovely marine feel. Large bathroom with great shower. Spotless throughout. Slept really well as beds were very comfortable.  There were 4 of us ( 2 couples) but they have a 3rd (kids) bedroom with bunk beds, they think of everything as there were loads of toys in cupboard just outside room, what a great idea. It is in a prime location surrounded by shops and pubs plus close to Abbey steps. We would definitely stay here again. Thankyou for a fab stay. 

Dove Cottage is a must

We stayed for 2 nights in the old dispensary, which was wonderful. Quirky, comfy and just far enough front the street that it is quiet at night but also right in the centre of it all. 
Pros- bed is SUPER comfy! Quirky and beautiful house with all you need for a base camp as you explore. TV, shampoo provided, tea and coffee, fridge. We were very happy with it.
Cons- low roofs and tight steep stairs, but this is typical of this kind of property and part of the charm. Very small toilet and shower room, but the shower is a rainfall shower and it adds to the charm.
Overall - would 100% stay again. If you are looking for unique, beautiful and intimate, this is for you.
