Absolutely wonderful pub. Great atmosphere, excellent food (Balmoral Chicken a must) and amazing staff (Tasha and Derek are superb hosts). Accommodation is clean and comfortable. Very highly recommended. 

Wonderful 

We booked a table for 15 friends to enjoy Sunday lunch.  Most of us chose the carvery. All of our food choices were served by very helpful staff., and the food was absolutely delicious. Everyone in our group was very impressed and will return again, and again.
There is very little car parking space, on street parking is limited, so allow sufficient time to park if you have a booking. 
A bus service runs past the door, operated by Stagecoach. This is excellent cycling country and there is Bladnoch Distillery opposite. What more could you ask for?

Excellent place for a meal.

Nice place to stay, especially as it is just opposite the distillery. We had nice and clean rooms and a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. Everyone was very friendly especially as we could not fully agree on the supported football team. Fully recommendation.

Nice pub, restaurant and stay

Went in on a whim when we were passing by. Had the Sunday carvery and desserts, all of which were excellent. The staff were all extremely welcoming even though we arrived just as they were about to stop serving food. The atmosphere was warm and the bar was very cosy. Highly recommended. 

A warm welcome and brilliant food

great experience, we were a group of four guns and the facilities were perfect, we were encouraged to ask for anything if we did not find it and the staff were amazing.
the owner was a top chap and the main barman Jonno was simply outstanding and a wealth of local knowledge. Kirsty really looked after us at breakfast time and there was plenty of it and the evening meal was really very good, being served by competent and friendly waiting staff. in all a friendly place to stay with all that you could need to make your stay a great one, well done all of you, we will be back.

our shooting weekend

Just home from three nights at the bladnoch inn with friends. This has to be one of the best little hotels in Scotland. Completely family run and nothing whatsoever was a problem for derek and his sons. The rooms are clean and warm and ideal for a few nights away. To be honest we were expecting the food to be just generic pub grub but we where wrong the food was amazing and the Guinness is unreal we will be back before the end of the year these people know how to look after their customers 10/10 from me

What a spot

We stumbled upon this lovely, unspoilt, friendly pub whilst out exploring the area and noticed they served Sunday Carvery. Staff very welcoming, food delicious and reasonably priced. We were so impressed we returned later in the week for lunch. Dogs are welcome in the bar which was an added bonus on a cold October day. There was a cosy real fire to warm ourselves and our dogs. The lady serving behind the bar was very helpful with recommendations of places to visit in the area that are dog friendly. We will definitely return to the Bladnoch Inn next time we visit Dumphries and Galloway.

Cosy friendly pub

We visit The Bladnoch Inn each year for there fantastic Sunday carvery for just £10 per person. There are a selection of four meats (chicken, gammon, roast beef and pork) and then you can help yourself to potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, vegetables and all other trimmings. The food is always delicious and the restaurant is always busy, testament to the good food and good value provided. We will be back again next year!

Excellent Sunday carvery

Had our evening meal here one night. There was a very good choice on the menu. What we chose was very good and very well presented. The Inn is well positioned for visiting all the villages and hamlets in Wigtownshire

Nice little pub with friendly staff

Had Sunday lunch at The Bladnoch inn , with a group of friends one of which was celebrating her 21st birthday.
We are on holiday at present and we have visited this restaurant/bar several.
Food is so wonderful.  Large variety.  well priced and Management here this well.
You have the best staff ever.
We booked our table for Sunday so as not to be disappointed.
the restaurant is very clean, and the food piping hot and portions not spared.
Continued success to this establishment .
I am recommending The Bladnoch Inn to all I know.
