I took my husband here, for his 40th birthday celebration. Everything was just perfect. Easy check in and very friendly service, everything was explained to us well, and she prepared the breakfast order forms for us too, that saved us having to go back to reception to order. 
We stayed in the Sanctuary Suite and wow, what an experience!! It was private, with its own private hot tub, entrance and parking just outside the suite. Short walking distance from Bowness, where we went for our evening meal, at Boardwalk Bar and Grill with lovely views of the marina and lake.
The room was amazing with all the mod cons, fire effect heater, Bluetooth speakers, TV in the bathroom, shower separate from the bath, lakes spa toiletries included, plus slippers and robes. The hot tub was such a treat, perfect temperature, mostly covered, with lights and very clean. 
The cocktails, milk and water left in the fridge was a special touch too.
There were lots of hot drinks options in the room, with a coffee machine and a kettle included!
The breakfast was just amazing and brought to our suite at no extra cost, at the time we requested it at!
Our stay included an afternoon tea at the Fizzy Tarte, which was just wonderful. A perfect afternoon tea.
Our stay far exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return. 

Amazing experience

Stayed in the Opulance Suite.The room isn’t really that big, but is beautiful. 
The bed was really comfy and the spa bath is just fabulous. Just what was needed after 7 hours out hiking. 
Bit if a pain having to go up to the Cranleigh to check in and had to provide ID. We stay in Bowness a lot and have never had to provide our ID. Dropped our luggage off, then had to go back out to park the car. 
The room was immaculate, really good complimentary drinks in the fridge and soft, fluffy dressing gowns.
Would definitely stay again, had a glance in the Indulgence Suite on the way out and that looked a lot larger room, so would probably try to book that.

Lovely relaxing stay

A wonderful stay in the Indulgence suite, so much so that we're looking to come again next year. A lovely touch to have a birthday card left on the bed for my other half and the room, bathroom and outside areas were absolutely spotless with reed diffusers throughout. Hot tub and jacuzzi bath were also excellent, the bed comfy and a great location in the centre of Bowness. The upgrades have definitely made it value for money- car park although a 5 minute walk next to the main hotel is more than adequate. 

Great little stay

My husband & I have just returned from a night in The Indulgence Suite. What a beautiful suite! Very spacious & clean. I asked for a couple of changes to the birthday bubbles package, as well as a colour change to the single rose & nothing was too much trouble for the staff at The Crangleigh Boutique. The changes I asked for were accommodated & were stunning. This is our 3rd time staying with The Crangleigh Boutique, first was in The Sanctuary Suite & the second was in Luxury room 6 - again no faults with any & both were gorgeous. The staff are always very welcoming, pleasant & helpful. We are already planning our next stay 💖 Thank you The Crangleigh Boutique for making our 1st Minimoon of the year a fabulous, luxurious one 💖 See you again soon!

Gorgeous Suite

First time staying here in the Opulence Suite, I must say that I was expecting something amazing and I wasn’t disappointed. The room was romantic and had everything you could want. It was spacious and the bathroom was stunning with a large spa bath, separate shower, mood lighting throughout the room too. The mini bar was a nice touch too. We did have issues with the fact the spa bath was dirty despite having been cleaned and the room being very hot but a quick call to the Reception and these issues with quickly resolved. I couldn’t fault my stay here. Parking at the church suites is non existent but it’s only minutes walk from the main Cranleigh Boutique hotel which has ample parking and also an over flow car park on the Bellsfield. Friendly staff, nice room meaning overall a lovely stay.

Relaxing Stay

We were due to stay in the Indulgence Suite for our anniversary in April but were unable to do so due to the covid lockdown. We managed to rearrange our trip very easily and at no extra cost. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived but they took my phone number and gave us a call when it was which meant we could walk round the lakes instead of waiting around.
The Indulgence Suite is not in the main hotel but is only a short walk. Not ideal with luggage and in the rain but worth it! First impressions of the room were amazing. The mood lighting makes the room look really impressive. The sound system is also really good. We had a bit of trouble working the cinema screen but that was maybe just us not being very tech savvy.
The hot tub and jacuzzi bath were both fab. The hot tub buttons were old though so we were unable to change the temperature. It was also noisy through the night.
The bed was so comfy and the mini bar is nice extra touch. We will definitely be back and maybe try one of the other rooms. We had a brilliant time and wished we could have stayed longer! 

Indulgence Anniversary Stay

Stayed overnight for my birthday with my husband in the church suite. It was a luxurious suite possibly not to everyone’s taste but a nice feel to it. Took us a while to get used to operating the lighting but it was a nice touch to the room. 
We were offered a selection of complimentary items in which we chose champagne and a teddy however later received an email to say there was a system glitch and this is now no longer on offer to us which was disappointing considering the overall price of the suite for one night. 
Right near lots of bars so got very noisy later in the night but this can’t be helped. 
The suite had other guests in other rooms and they were so noisy, I could hear someone slipping around in their spa bath upstairs and stomping about. Someone forgot the code to get in at around midnight and was banging on the front door shouting for a good 5 minutes. Then later someone came back drunk shouting in the hallway and stomping around.  Not the cranleighs fault that other guests were inconsiderate but you can literally hear everything going on around you. 
We found it all entertaining and saw the funny side of it all but other guests might not be as childish as we are. 
This isn’t for everyone but overall we enjoyed our stay and won’t forget it in a long time!

Overall good experience couple of blips

A romantic break for two.

I’ve been eying up this hotel for a long time on Instagram! It did not disappoint!

We stayed for one night in the Fantasy Suite (mainly for the bath!). Gorgeous.

The only criticism I can find is that the “Luxury towels” were not that soft.

Otherwise a perfect luxurious stay that I very much hope to repeat in the future.

A romantic escape for two with plenty of amenities close at hand!

On Arrival we checked in at the cranleigh boutique and the lady in reception showed us which way to drive to get to the church suites .. we were able to park outside to unload our car then had to take the car back up to the overflow car park .. to enter the building you are given a code and another code for the suite so very secure .. room was lovely .. very luxurious and massive bathroom with xl spa bath sunken into the floor and large walk in rainfall shower large tv above the bath and at the foot of the bed we only used it for music and the Bose speaker saved us bringing our own .. the fridge was stocked with various drinks free of charge but due to covid no ice machine and no limes ,lemons nuts or bottle of water that we had last time in another suite and no kettle there was a tassimo machine but non of it was replenished so resorted to buying drinks from Costa round the corner  .. no fresh towels or refreshing of rooms either unless you requested it  ..had to ask for our bin emptying as was overflowing ..personally think you should get breakfast in with it like you do at the main hotel as it’s very expensive yet you get less and I wasn’t impressed with the toiletries .. was expecting loccitane as pictured (my favourite brand )I felt the ones provided didn’t match the luxury of the suite and were poor quality ... I was happy with my treat that my hubbi managed to arrange whilst we were out tho and I do prefer the location of the church suites .

A little bit of fabulousness 

Our first  impressions was good then , after looking around. We noticed The tv was fitted not straight , carpet frayed , mini bar was a joke and being woke up every morning and night as the other guests don’t seem to be able to close a heavy door quietly, the good points , very comfortable bed , the bathroom was the best part of the suite , nice and central everything in walking distance, but you have to walk up to main hotel for breakfast this wasn’t made clear at time of booking , the hotel staff and food was lovely but not sure I would want to walk that in bad weather and is up hill going there , Mini bar that’s worth £50 wasnt Great and no where near £50 , for what we paid for the suite we really was expecting more as it’s classed as Luxury, the attention to detail isn’t there .
