The room's ambiance was delightful, adorned with beautiful decor. The bed provided exceptional comfort, and the spacious layout, coupled with a small garden, added to the overall appeal. The friendliness of the host made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a relaxing and pleasant getaway.

Chill retreat

This is the third time we have stay at Annesdale, Alena and Roger are the most perfect hosts.

The house remains as stunning as always, the gardens looks amazing, and the welcome genuinely makes us feel like going home.

We stayed in Elleray (our favourite room) and was comfy, and warm, with plenary of tea, coffee, biscuits and fresh milk.

Breakfast, o my what a delicious way to start your morning. We dined upstairs in the dining room, the most grand dining room… 

The breakfast is a pre order, we had the freshest fruit salad and yoghurt, followed by a cooked option. Orange juice, tea and fresh coffee… just delicious.

We got to know more about Alena this visit, had a really good talk after breakfast… she has had an amazing life, and we can’t wait to visit and catch up again soon.

A spacious, quiet basement suite with garden views and a private patio.  Access via steps (outside) and stairs (inside). On site parking.

Lounge, bedroom and bathroom, all tastefully furnished, functional and spotlessly clean.

Multiple breakfast options, gluten-free catered for. Cooked selections were well prepared and tasty.

A very welcoming and helpful host.


A comfortable, luxurious retreat close to Windermere centre

This is our second time here, everything was as we remembered.lovely sittingroomand the beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in and the pillows your head just sunk in them a lovely bathroom with everything you wanted in it . The breakfast was lovely and alena was very helpful. I know we will be going back next year hopefully.

Excellent suite accommodation with on site parking.
Home from home feel. Private access to your suite and your own patio to enjoy the beautiful garden.
The host was very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble.
Fantastic breakfast, cooked to perfection.
Very close to all Windermere has to offer.
Also great for people without a car as just a few minutes walk from the train and bus station and the supermarket.

Excellent accommodation in the heart of Windermere 

Stunning property, in a beautiful location which allows a short walk away from the shops/restaurants and bars. From the moment we arrived the hosts were so kind and courteous. The suite we stayed in was spot less, beautifully decorated with a stunning bathroom and walk in shower and separate bath. The breakfast was the best I have had, offering anything you wanted - even if something was not on the menu the host offered to make anything we requested. Can’t wait to return here - beautiful property and amazing hosts who cannot do enough to make sure our stay was perfect!

Weekend break

Just got home from a perfect weekend away in Windermere staying at Annesdale House . Alena and Roger go out of their way to ensure all your needs are met . The suite has its own entrance and was spacious , warm, comfortable and clean. 

The breakfast was brought to our room which was a wonderful treat and everything was perfect .
The location is perfect for a nice stroll into the centre ideal for just leaving the car parked up (designated space in the carpark )

Thank you both for welcoming us to your beautiful home - making our stay so special we would most definitely return and will be recommending to our family and friends also .

Beautiful retreat in Windermere

We spent a most enjoyable 4 night stay in this beautiful apartment.The hosts were most welcoming. Our own private parking was a bonus, and came with no extra charge.set in beautiful garden, it is so peaceful.  Close to all attractions and both bus station and railway station, it was ideal. We stayed on a bed & breakfast arrangement,  and there was a wide choice on offer, all cooked to perfection. The apartment was lovely and warm, with both central heating and underfloor heating. The beds were very comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep.Would recommend anyone wanting to stay in windermere and to be well looked after by hospitable hosts to stay here

Alena & Roger are simply the most perfect hosts.

This is the second time we have stayed with them and it was like coming home to family. 

So welcoming, friendly and accommodating.

The accommodation is beyond comfortable and luxurious, perfect location and grounds.

Breakfast was amazing, fresh and delicious ingredients cooked to perfection, and the coffee… just amazing.

We simply can’t wait to visit again.

Very comfortable bed and very helpful hosts who are very friendly! Great breakfast as well. The food is fresh and made with care. The hotel doesn't take in too many guests at one go so the hosts provide great care and attention to your well-being!
