Lovely welcome from owners, had plenty knowledge of area which they were happy to share, fantastic breakfast with plenty choice,clean room, great location for both Windermere and Bowness, plenty parking as well and 5 mins from train station in taxi,

Excellent

Absolutely Amazing Guest House hosted by the wonderful Beverly! I stayed for 3 nights for a climbing trip to the Lakes - and everything was beyond perfection. The house itself, located a few minutes walk from central Windemere and 10 minutes from the station is full of charm and character and has ample parking. The rooms are spotless, organised and very comfortable. Breakfast - was delicious and prepared fresh to order each morning. Beverly and family have created a unique experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for one night to two weeks in the stunning Lake District. Perfection in the Lakes! Incredible Guest House wonderfully hosted. Highly recommended!

Bev and Neil are great hosts. Ideal location between Bowness and Windermere. Great breafast to kick start the day. Room clean,bed comfortable. All in all a great weekend topped with a great place to stay. 

Great weekend despite the rain

Room was clean & tidy & they had tried to make the best of a very small en-suite. Good location & walking distance to Windermere/Bowness. No flexibility with only a 45 minute slot for breakfast & we had mentioned at check in that we would be 20 mins late for breakfast the next day but was told to buy 2 porridge pots from local shop & use the kettle even though we had paid for a breakfast at booking. 

Disappointed and a hotel stay would have given better flexibility for the same price

We had a really first class stay at the Coppice Guest House. It is one of the best guest houses we have stayed at. The owners, Beverly and Neil are delightful and Beverly was very welcoming and helpful.

The room was a lovely, well decorated and modern room. The ensuite shower room was beautifully appointed.

The breakfast was perfectly cooked and presented and there was a good choice of dishes.

The location of the guest house is perfect for both Windermere and Bowness with a short walk to the station (rail and bus).

We highly recommend the Coppice.

Such a beautiful bnb we had an amazing stay, breakfast was superb! Neil and Beverley were fantastic hosts even gave us a map and recommended where to eat/drink/walk, definitely will return. Plenty of parking, and a close walk to both Bowness and Windermere

Amazing Find

We are just back from staying 2 nights at The Coppice.  The property is beautiful, and spotlessly clean.  Our room was beautifully decorated, and had a lovely feature bath.  The bed was comfortable and it had an excellent shower.  The owners are really friendly and can't do enough for you.  We had a lovely breakfast each day, with quality ingredients and it was cooked perfectly.  It's in an excellent location, easy to walk to both Windermere and Bowness.  We had a great time, and can't wait to return!  Thank you Neil and Beverley.

Lovely stay

We stayed this weekend in the suite room. All I can say is wow, not only is it absolutely beautiful, it’s the little touches that give this suit the wow factor! DVD’s in a basket for you, a little sherry decanter, a spa bath, the list is endless

On arrival Neil couldn’t have been anymore helpful. With where’s nice to eat and what’s around to do locally! 

Breakfast is lovely, excellent quality ingredients and a an awesome selection! Beverly made sure you wanted for nothing. 

Definately a little slice of heaven! Cannot wait to go back!!

Lovely

Stayed for 2 days and received excellent customer service.  Beverley is very welcoming and informed us of the best local eateries.  Really nice and clean room.  Breakfast first class.  Thanks very much for making us feel very welcome and comfortable.

Lovely hotel

A great B&B sitting between Bo’ness and Windermere centres. This is a very tidy and well decorated B&B , with good breakfast and very helpful host. My issue is the use of Estate Agent “speak” to describe rooms as either standard or Deluxe. We booked a deluxe room which was a good size but not exceptional, the decor was good and so was the furniture. However, the bathroom/en-suite was not luxurious it was broom cupboard size in need of some TLC . Whilst the tiling looked good there were signs of black mildew in the shower sealant and inward folding door didn’t fully close. The panel behind the toilet looked stained and tired and the centre large floor tile in front of the wash basin was badly cracked. Bending to Use the wash basin with the door closed was impossible.  So for me the place was good but the room was not deluxe which comes at a higher price than a standard room
