Nice clean comfortable room, (no.7).
Toiletries and tea , coffee, juices left out for our use.
Nice little pub down the road (Darlington Arms), with nice food.
Very close to the airport.
Would definitely stay here again , if flying from Bristol airport.

Ideal for early flight 

Perfect accommodation. Very clean, comfortable and loved waking up to the chickens and goat saying good morning to us! Ideal location near the airport and easy access to takeaway late at night when we arrived.

Only issue was that we had a twin room with a split level bed. The lower of the two beds was not as comfortable as it should have been

A wee gem. Quiet rural location. Has everything you need. Parking available.
Alot personal touches.  Milk and juice in fridge on arrival and baby towel, sheet and blankets for the wee one. 
I'd book this over a Hotel anyday.

VERY satisfied with our accommodation.

All rooms are on the same level, a little motel-like. Our nicely furnished room was of good size and very clean. We found a tray with treats and plenty of tea and coffee which was appreciated. What we didn't like was a wheelchair accessible bathroom. That meant the sink was so low that we couldn't use it and a shower that set the whole bathroom under water when used. We preferred not to. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet at night. We didn't see anybody, only a lonesome goat wandering around. The location is perfect, only minutes from the airport where we had to turn in our rental car in the morning. This accommodation is good value for money. 

Good Value for Money

Waste of time and a waste of money. 
Hillcroft Accommodation seemed like an ideal solution to an early morning flight from Bristol airport, unfortunately, it was FAR FROM IT. 
Although I appreciate the lack of formal check in suits the nature of the early morning/late night arrivals, the lack of staff/security on site is a mistake. 
We arrived at the room early evening, it was clean and had everything you would need for an over night stay.
Around 10pm, a bus pulled up outside and a group of very rowdy men got off and occupied the room next door to ours . From 10pm until 2am, the group stayed up shouting, laughing and swearing at each other so loudly they may as well have been in the same room as us. They were drinking heavily and having very crude, inappropriate conversations which could be heard easily. 
 I tried to get in touch with ‘Danny’ whose number was left on the information pack but he has yet to respond AT ALL (we stayed May 12th). We even sent a recording of the noise as evidence we were not over reacting to the situation and to date no one has been in touch or even apologised. 
Neither of us got any sleep before our alarms went at 3am to go to the airport and in fact, we would have had more sleep if we’d stayed at home and got up in time to drive to Bristol which would have cost us nothing. 
The lack of customer service, staff presence and security at this accommodation is disgusting  and I would not recommend them to anyone. 
I understand the company cannot vet their customers before booking but they need to be able to handle situations like this.

Waste of time and money

I would NOT recommend Hillcroft accommodation. I booked a one nights stay in the Shepards Hut for my partners 40th birthday. I booked the accommodation through Airbnb and all the photographs showed that there was a hot tub for use with the Shepards hut. When we arrived the hot tub was empty and disgustingly dirty. I spoke with the owner who stated that they do not fill the hot tub in the winter months (even though this was in April!) I was so disappointed as it was a birthday present I had booked and was supposed to be a nice relaxing night away. 

Although the owners were apologetic, they made out as if I should have known that there was no hot tub and it was communicated to me. This was untrue as I had even asked for instructions for the hot tub and they had ignored my questions. I would have booked something else if I had known this. They also state that the toilets are 20meters away which also seems untrue because we walked to the hut and did not see any toilet.

The owners offered a full refund but then only gave a partial refund and ignored further communication with me. I then had to get the money back through Airbnb. 

Very disappointed and would not recommend.

Would not recommend

We (family of 4) stayed on 11th February (2 double rooms) & 17th February (family room). Simple check in, the rooms are unlocked and lights left on for a welcoming arrival after a long drive or flight. Exactly what you need. Lovely complimentary toiletries and clean, comfortable and cosy decor/furnishings. Obviously people are coming and going all times of day and night but that's to be expected and it didn't disturb us. We parked our car at Hillcroft for the duration of our trip.. this must be booked in advance as there is limited parking. Great location, only 5 min from the airport. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect pre-flight or post-flight accommodation.

The soundproofing is nonexistent! Rooms are modern little boxes nicely furnished but with no soundproofing between rooms AT ALL!  We arrived quite late but were woken at 04.30 by the family in the box behind us who got up early for an early flight. If we had known how easy it was to hear their every word (even switching on a plug socket) we would have been much quieter when we arrived! 

People coming and going all night and no soundproofing in rooms at all.

We’ve stayed here once before an early flight so jumped at the chance to book it again before another early flight 

The accommodation is situated just a mile from the airport so it’s very accessible and out of the flight path so you don’t hear any planes through the night 

Check in is easy as you look for your name on the door, let yourself! As easy as that.

As guests can arrive and leave whenever, depending on their flight you may hear cars starting in the middle of the night but nothing too drastic.

I’ll definitely stay here yet again if I have more early flights from Bristol
