What a lovely hidden gem in Woodbridge Suffolk, we stayed in the Explorer room on the 28th October and on first impressions the hosts are welcoming.
Within 5 minutes of arriving we were met greeted and shown to our room the host asked if we required a table for dinner that evening and we did not as visiting family locally.
Room
The room was large spacious with a queen bed it was very comfortable.
Extra blackest stored in room.
The bathroom was large with a shower over the bath.
Water pressure very good, nice and clean plenty of bathroom tissue and mini toiletries.. shampoo , body wash and lotion.

As located in the Garden of the pub it was of the Garden area
Entrance via the carpark with a porch entrance and two rooms one was the Explorer Room other rooms are via a staircase.

Staff again polite helpful and courteous confirming during the meal all was well.
We both had an English breakfast.

All eaten in a quaint historical pub with a wealth of history and a stunning log fire.
I also saw many board games on offer 
Next time we will be dinning and staying here it was perfect and 100 percent yes we will definitely stay here again lucky locals.


Excellent , Service Stay and Food !

We stayed 3 nights at the Cherry Tree. Our room was comfortable and an excellent value. The included breakfast was delicious (full English among other choices) as were the two excellent dinners we had during our stay. The best part of the stay, however, was the landlord and staff, who were so nice and helpful. We give the Cherry Tree Inn/Pub our highest recommendation without hesitation.

Excellent Time at the Cherry Tree

Went to this pub for first time today as visiting Woodbridge.  The staff were lovely and the roast beef and chicken lunches were delicious.  All good fresh food and the gravy was just the best I have ever tasted! 

Delicious Sunday lunch

Spent a night at the Cherry Tree Inn . On arrival hubby learnt that they were holding a Beer Festival, so he was happy from the get go . We decided to have an evening meal there as the ambience was friendly and buzzing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming , the evening meal and breakfast the following were superb . Accommodation was lovely - big room, comfy bed and resulted in a great nights sleep. The choice of beers were excellent ( better than Ely beers at our annual festivals) We learnt these were chosen by a lovely lady from the Cherry Tree . Hubby was very impressed  with her choices .Such  a lovely day spent in Woodbridge and can highly recommend the CT

A great place to stay and eat

This in also has great food and is one of the best pubs in Woodbridge! They serve the real ales at the proper temperature. A great place to spend an afternoon. They have a delicious cheese board on the menu that is perfect afternoon snack. Also a full menu.

Great Food and Pub

T his is the second time we have stayed at Cherry tree, we have had a lovely three days here.Our Accomadation was first glass coffee and tea hairdryer iron even ironing board.
food was excellent the breakfast was delicious, I don’t normally have English breakfast three days but this was so nice just had to have it sausages were very nice all cooked fresh to order .
We had 2 evening meals here ham and egg omelette and I think it was seafood dish that my husband had, egg and chips the second time and what a 
plateful  you don’t go away hungry,Wine well we had to have a bottle reasonably priced and very nice.
The staff are all very friendly greeted you with a warm welcome and smile.
We will be back later on in the year we had a lovely stay.

Lovely stay 

Fab , Fab and Fab - and dog friendly - Lovely clean , warm and spacious room . Friendly faces and great breakfast - Worth every penny - I know how much hard work goes into providing such high standards - Thankyou Mike and Walter - Woof ! 🐶

Fabulous and Faultless

We stayed in the suite at top of the barn, Kingsize bed (comfy) sofa, dressing table, even a coffee pod machine! Shower hot and reliable (you never know do you?). Tv easy to figure out.  Can't fault it.  Food was excellent, staff professional and friendly.  When we booked, I thought it was pricey and I thought the menu was overpriced, however now we've been there I don't begrudge any of it, and I am quite  ' careful' with money!  Rather than bog standard white, towels lovely blue waffle weave.  Breakfast wonderful in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.  Would recommend this place to everybody.  Woodbridge walking distance too!

We will be back!

The room (Broadside suite upstairs in the barn at the back on of the pub) was very clean and well presented and exactly as the photos on the website showed. 
We received a warm welcome from the lady behind the bar who gave us our key and booked us a table for dinner.
We had a walk around the nice town with its various interesting shops and visited the marina. 
Dinner was good quality pub food in generous portions. The bar was busy and vibrant even on a Wednesday evening in November! 
We really enjoyed our stay. And probably wouldn’t change anything. 

A nice place to stay

We spent 2 nights during a return visit to the area we lived in 30 years ago.  The Inn was lovely and the rooms (in a converted carriage house) were spacious, clean & quiet.  The Pub has an in-house restaurant as well as a large outdoor beer garden that was full of locals.   Food was very good and the breakfast was generous and excellent.   The staff and landlord were all very welcoming and helpful.   I would highly recommend it for a visit.
