Lovely B&B in village of Wookey. Lovely rooms and hosts did all they could to make us feel comfortable and wanted. Breakfast cooked to order was great, and homemade bread was delicious. Three pubs in village. Ring O'bells is well worth a visit. Great food, massive portions, and well priced. Centrally placed to visit all of Somerset.

Another fantastic stay at the Burcott Mill guest house. Louise and Steve are terrific hosts. The rooms are very clean with everything you need, the beds are very comfy. The breakfast is to die for with a great selection and the best scrambled egg I have tasted.  We love our stays at the Burcott whilst visiting family and we willsee you next year.  

Fantastic Stay

Louise the host was wonderful and very welcoming. We stayed in the two bedroom family suite - it was very clean and had everything we needed. I thought the price was very reasonable and included the most delicious breakfast. The Guinea pig welcome was also a massive hit with the kids. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic B&B

Beautiful b and b in a lovely setting , hosts so informative , and helpful , breakfast very good lots of choices , we were in the double room , very comfortable but shower and loo could of been a bit bigger for us , visited 2 pubs for food , all great , will define a returning guest 😁

Getaway 

Absolutely perfect guest house set in a small village within easy reach of Glastonbury, Cheddar, Wells and Bath.
Lovely building (a working mill) with clean, spacious & comfortable rooms, a peaceful garden and an extremely tasty breakfast - we went for the cooked breakfast each morning served with juice, hot drinks and the home baked Spelt bread toast (which was so good, we purchased a couple of loaves at the end of our visit).
As it is a working mill, don't miss the opportunity to see the demonstration if they are milling while you are there,  Steve gave a very informative talk and it was a fascinating insight into products made using traditional methods.
Louise was always at hand to give out tips on the area and generally make you feel at "home".
For a couple of animal lovers, it was great to have the company of Steve and Louise's two cats who were delightful.  It was also pleasing to be greeted by their Guinea pigs on arrival and departure!
All in all, we were very pleased that we chose the Burcott Mill for our four nights in September.

Fantastic!

We both enjoyed a wonderful stay at Burcott Mill. 
Steve & Louise are lovely welcoming hosts .our room ,the mill house office,  was absolutely stunning, plenty of space ,a huge walk in shower, king size comfortable bed great tea,coffee and complimentary biscuits to enjoy. 
Breakfast was absolutely yummy, all local produce plus so tasty homemade bread,of which we purchased some on our  check out to take home and enjoy .
A wonderful stay, thank you both so much. 😀

A wonderful stay.

Wonderful guest house with the most friendly and welcoming hosts.  Lovely room and facilities.  Excellent breakfast and plenty of choice.  Would definitely stay again.  Very handy for Wells and the Mendip Hills. Well recommended. 

Wonderful stay, most welcoming.

Just came back from a lovely weekend at the Mill, stopped in the Hayloft room which was very comfortable, everything in the room you could need including a wide range of teas & coffee & biscuits. Breakfast was really good and Louise is just great, making sure you have everyhting you need & giving local knowledge of the surrounding area & pubs to try for food. Would recommend the Ring of Bells great food & welcoming staff.
Well done to Steve & Loise lovely B&B would highly recommend to stay

Lovely weekend break

We recently spent 4 nights in the Stable Suite at Burcott Mill Guest House and have nothing but praise for our hosts Steve and Louise. Our rooms were clean and tidy, the breakfasts were perfect, and we really enjoyed watching the water mill in action. We bought flour and homemade marmalade to take home at the end of our stay. The rural location is very convenient for the 2-mile trip to the centre of Wells but is also close to several local village pubs and shops. Steve and Louise did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and we would not hesitate to return to Burcott Mill the next time we are in Somerset.
