Absolutely splendid. Came to the site to celebrate NYE due to not being able to do usual plans with the wider family. 

Was met with great service, a spotless location and excellent food. 

Will absolutely come back next year with the rest of the family. Thanks a lot to all who prepared and worked towards the NYE celebrations!

NYE Visit

Well what can I say about riverside caravan park, what’s fantastic stay! We were located in pitch four and the neighbours couldn’t do no wrong invited us round for late night drinks til around 3am, don’t worry about your rubbish as apparently the site staff are very punctual with rubbish! We had a good laugh with seasonal down the site who turned it into a winter wonderland thanks to a closely located fire extinguisher! Late nights and good time all round! Can also take cans into club house along as you pour them in the toilets, would come again and again and again like wor lass did 😉 happy new yeah!!

We had such a lovely stay at Riverside in Wooler! The lodge was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, but the hot tub was definitely the highlight—there’s nothing better than relaxing in it under the stars. We also took our dog, who is a big German shepherd, and he felt right at home with plenty space for him to roam around.

The location was spot on, just a short walk to the town centre, and being right by the river was so peaceful. We loved being able to watch the ducks paddle by on our doorstep, and our dog loved it too.

Everything about the trip was perfect, from the friendly staff to the beautiful surroundings. The countryside around Wooler is stunning. Such a lovely drive there and a lovely place to wander. It was my first time in Wooler and I couldn’t recommend it enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing stay with our dog!

We had the best week staying at the park. It was what seemed like the wettest week in history!! Which is what makes it more remarkable that we enjoyed the park so much. The kids entertainment is excellent, every morning from 9.30 to 11- what a god send on a dark wet day. Seb and Charlotte were amazing, our kids genuinely loved coming down each morning. Seb was named my son’s favourite person in Wooler 😂 On a serious note, they were welcoming, kind and learned quickly to think outside the box when the weather meant all activities had to move inside. Bronwen and Lucy were also very kind and helpful. We ran into the manager one day and he was super friendly, asking about our experience and checking everything was okay. 

The swimming pool was good- one day the changing rooms were very wet and not the cleanest. The hot tub was out of order. Second day they were spotless and hot tub was open, so perhaps luck of the draw on this one.

Evening entertainment- we came down a couple times to this but it was a bit loud for our little ones. Looked to be good fun though and a wide variety of acts on.

Parks- great for all ages. Two parks both very good, and very safe. Kids loved them.  

Wildlife fab- not sure what the birds were (ducks, geese,chicken?!) but they were very friendly and some had gorgeous little chicks. Great for the kids. 

Shop- onsite - had everything we needed

Milk bar- great little place super hot drinks and ice creams. Staff exceptionally kind and even offered our wee one a free pot of ice cream 🥰

We didn’t eat on site as we like going out and about in the evenings. I can highly recommend Milan’s, Number 1 hotel and Wine - both in Wooler. Slightly further afield in Bamburgh we highly recommend The Middle Inn and Lord Crew. Also recommend Beadnell Towers in Beadnell. Also for the kids the softplay and crazy golf in Seahouses. Amazing how many wet day activities we found. We visited Ad Gerfin across the road. Lovely food and drinks but see my review regarding family activity. 

Van was spotless.  We were amazing how clean and spacious it was. Bedding and towels fresh and clean. Shower powerful and hot. 

I honestly can’t recommend this place enough we will defo be back and hope to bring the sun with us next time! Thank you.

Best week ever!

We decided to have a run out for some food the team at wooler are excellent very polite and helpful couldn't do enough to accommodate us. 
Horrible day made a lot brighter when the team at the bar and  grill were very welcoming food was tasty as well thanks

Warm and welcome

Really nice and welcoming Scott, Cameron, Anya and the rest of the team was really welcoming. Martin and the new man  was nice with a range of food options. Lots of entertainment for the younger kids throughout the day and live acts later on at night.

3rd visit to the riverside this year caravans are clean  and well equipped  the site is kept spotless   the staff on the site are all hard working  we had a problem with the shower and the reception staff sorted it out and the maintenance men arrive to repair it not long after can't wait to return

We love the riverside

Went to the Swimming Pool located through the Arcade the process was easy and hassle free . After swimming myself and my nephew decided to get some food . The most amazing chicken wings ever my nephew couldn't get enough.  

Staff were amazing nothing was too much to ask for . 
Would definitely recommend fun for all the family and a little gem in the loveliest place Wooler. 

Amazing ! Definitely Visit for the lush food

Had a brilliant week at Riverside. It’s a lovely clean and spacious park. The staff are friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Scott (complex manager). Emily, Emily and Jodie (Ents team) for their boundless energy and great shows. Tip: ask for an entertainment programme when you arrive, unsure why it’s not included in the welcome pack?

This was our second visit here the first being at Christmas time and it is a lovely family friendly park had some great nights in the bar Ellie was absolutely amazing at keeping both kids and adults entertained and really made our weekend! We will definitely be back again.
