We call in for lunch once every two weeks. 3 friends just having a light lunch and a catch up.
The atmosphere is so friendly….Paula our waitress now knows our order for drinks and she can,t do enough for us.
Today the chef Tom outdid himself and provided a faultless deliscious lunch for us. 
Always a warm welcome for us….that,s why we keep going back.

Lunch at the Wynnstay Ruabon

The atmosphere is always welcoming and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The facilities are excellent and the venue is perfect for parties, funerals, weddings and business meetings. The food quality has always been good which is another major plus for a local venue. We have lived locally for 30 years and have patronised the hotel for that time too. Testimony in itself.

We stumbled upon this establishment by pure change and boy where we glad we did, We have stayed in some amazing places over the years and the Wynnstay Arms Ruabon is up there with the best, it really is a great place to stay and what makes it extra special is the Hospitality Team they are truly amazing and an absolute credit the Wynnstay Management and Owner, any Hospitality Business is only ever as strong as the Team that provided the front of house Service and the Wynnstay Team made our Anniversary, The Whole Team where fantastic from Ailsa who went above and beyond to make our Anniversary weekend extra Special to Paula B who looked after us at Breakfast and made us feel like one of the Family taking the time to explain the history of this fantastic building and for both Ailsa and Paula B nothing was too much trouble, the food/Evening Meals are fantastic and Breakfast is second to none, at the risk of the Hotel being sold out next time we visit I do highly recommend the Wynnstay Arms to all who are looking for something Special, congratulations Wynnstay Team you all should be very Proud of what you have accomplished

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL

After a bad experience with food 6 months ago we returned with friends to have a completely different experience . The food and service was second to none and we all agreed we would be returning soon . Ryan is a true asset and his cocktails are the icing on the cake . Great to have a new chef that will s obviously very talented and cares about the food he puts out . The cheesecake is going to get us back all the time 

Evening meal 

Becoming my regular spot for Sunday Roast, Really good can’t get enough! Staff are always lovely and beer is cold. It’s all tastefully decorated with a chilled out atmosphere. Will be back when in passing by!

Came for beer, were given beer. Job done ✅

Clean and good beer and bar snacks. We hadn't booked but they brought us cheesy garlic bread for the little one. 

Staff are friendly enough. I need to write more words so blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. 

A review of exceptional skill

Amazing stay at this lovely coaching inn. Our room was fabulous we were given an upgrade from a standard double. Very friendly staff who made us feel really welcome.We had lunch and evening meal in restaurant which was excellent.
Breakfast was a little disappointing , I ordered pancakes and bacon and was only told they didn't have any as my husband's order was being served which meant we couldn't eat together.
We will definitely return and which we had stayed an extra night

Valentines treat

lovely hotel, situated right at the heart of few historical places. the rooms are amazing. booked the room with poster bed . great comfy bed only issue was the tv is located in a way that one of the poster is coming in front of the screen lo. very spacious room with an LP record player and few oldies on vinyl. The bathroom was amazing with walk in shower as well as bathtub, his and hers sink .
we tried fish and chips at the restaurant find a bit dearer in price and one of the guest on next table complain about undercook food and left the restaurant. otherwise the hotel is exceptional . amazing building great service .
