We call in for lunch once every two weeks. 3 friends just having a light lunch and a catch up.
The atmosphere is so friendly….Paula our waitress now knows our order for drinks and she can,t do enough for us.
Today the chef Tom outdid himself and provided a faultless deliscious lunch for us. 
Always a warm welcome for us….that,s why we keep going back.

Lunch at the Wynnstay Ruabon

The atmosphere is always welcoming and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The facilities are excellent and the venue is perfect for parties, funerals, weddings and business meetings. The food quality has always been good which is another major plus for a local venue. We have lived locally for 30 years and have patronised the hotel for that time too. Testimony in itself.

We stumbled upon this establishment by pure change and boy where we glad we did, We have stayed in some amazing places over the years and the Wynnstay Arms Ruabon is up there with the best, it really is a great place to stay and what makes it extra special is the Hospitality Team they are truly amazing and an absolute credit the Wynnstay Management and Owner, any Hospitality Business is only ever as strong as the Team that provided the front of house Service and the Wynnstay Team made our Anniversary, The Whole Team where fantastic from Ailsa who went above and beyond to make our Anniversary weekend extra Special to Paula B who looked after us at Breakfast and made us feel like one of the Family taking the time to explain the history of this fantastic building and for both Ailsa and Paula B nothing was too much trouble, the food/Evening Meals are fantastic and Breakfast is second to none, at the risk of the Hotel being sold out next time we visit I do highly recommend the Wynnstay Arms to all who are looking for something Special, congratulations Wynnstay Team you all should be very Proud of what you have accomplished

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL

After a bad experience with food 6 months ago we returned with friends to have a completely different experience . The food and service was second to none and we all agreed we would be returning soon . Ryan is a true asset and his cocktails are the icing on the cake . Great to have a new chef that will s obviously very talented and cares about the food he puts out . The cheesecake is going to get us back all the time 

Evening meal 

Went to the wynnstay arms for a sunday lunch. It was by far the worst roast dinner ive ever had the misfortune to encounter. At nearly £18 i expected something amazing but actually got the polar opposite. After sitting there for what seemed an eternity we had to go and find someone to take our order.I had the pork belly that supposedly came with apple sauce, which was a no show, and no crackling. The other half had what was meant to be beef, so over cooked and tough you could have resoled your shoes with it. The beef dripping and rosemary potatoes tasted like they were days old and then deep fried, so i sent them back and told they would cook same fresh ones, how they were going to do that in 5 minutes is a mystery as i recall fresh roast potatoes take at least an hour once you've boiled them beforehand. The veg was non existent, 2 tiny carrot batons which were like rubber, a teaspoon of cabbage, hard parsnips, and the side order of cauliflower cheese,at £5, made me feel sick just looking at it, boiled cauliflower in warm milk with no cheese in sight. On a positive note the children that served us were polite and apologetic and did not charge us for the side dish as i refused to pay for it anyway  and did give a discount on the mains. The pub itself just liked disorganised, no wonder it was nearly empty.  Later on i read the reviews and wasn't surprised at all to see so many bad reviews going back 5 years. If they haven't addressed the problems by now they never will. Take my advise and avoid this overpriced soup kitchen.

Becoming my regular spot for Sunday Roast, Really good can’t get enough! Staff are always lovely and beer is cold. It’s all tastefully decorated with a chilled out atmosphere. Will be back when in passing by!

Best roast around!

It’s so hit and miss at this place but today was definitely a miss! Everything was so overcooked and dry. 

You could tell it was all microwaved it was too hot! 

The pie and the fish where burnt. The meat was inedible. They did offer us a free drink but I think that is pretty unacceptable for the food they put out!

Clean and good beer and bar snacks. We hadn't booked but they brought us cheesy garlic bread for the little one. 

Staff are friendly enough. I need to write more words so blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
