My husband decided on a last minute weekend break away at your hotel . He chose the manor (not somewhere we’ve been too in Yeovil before ) and I have to say it really was lovely we will definitely be back the menu choices for meals was plenty .what we were served at both dinner and breakfast were both beautifully presented tasted great and were reasonably priced and good sized portions the room was well presented admittedly the bathroom was a little tired looking but how much time do you spend in there the bed was really comfy and all the staff were knowledgeable and very helpful.definitely looking forward to coming back

Visited today 26th Feb with a group of friends as attending an event nearby.
Was greeted upon arrival and shown to our table. From start to finish the team were very attentive and friendly,  nothing to much trouble. Lovely , fresh welcoming interior. Food was spot on, each of us had something different and not a grumble in sight. We are looking at returning again in June. Thank you to you all

Fantastic food 

Went for lunch with my parents, sat in the bar, served by Sammy, very helpful and lovely, food amazing and good price.
Nice and warm, very clean, will be back soon, had my two dogs who are also made welcome and given bowls of water.


Great lunch

We booked the weekend at The Manor to visit our daughter who lives in Yeovil and I can say what a little gem of an hotel this is the room was nice and cosy and clean and very warm the bed was very comfortable the staff could not do anymore for us food was great at a very good price. Yeovil is a very short walk from the hotel. The people and the town are lovely.The Manor will now become our second home to visit our daughter. Loved it thanks to all the staff. See you all again soon 

COSY AND WARM GREAT STAY

Phoned The Manor at 0830 to see if they could do breakfast for 2 non residents.
Excellent service and delicious "Full House" with all the trimmings plus Eggs Benedict. All at a very reasonable price.  Compliments to the Chef.

Delicious Breakfast

Stayed here for one night. All the staff, without exception, were friendly, polite and helpful. The decor in my room, and the hotel generally, was a little tired looking but everywhere was very clean. I had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel - both meals were very tasty and portions were very generous. The building is quite historic and those with mobility problems should be aware that there are a number of stairs and internal steps to be negotiated. There is free parking and free wi-fi on site, although during my stay I couldn’t get the wi-fi to work.  I enjoyed my stay and felt,  for the amount that I paid, it was great value for money. I would definitely return.

We have just returned from an event in Yeovil and we stayed at The Manor Hotel for 3 nights B&B.
The property is well-located within Yeovil with plenty of free car parking.
We stayed in the Stables about 4 years ago but this time we had a room in the main building. The room was clean, very comfortable and good-sized with good ensuite bathroom facilities.  The room is possibly a little "tired" (compared with the room in the Stables) but certainly nothing to complain about.  There is a lovely restaurant and also a lovely lounge bar area - we ate in both.   There was a good range of food (and drink) on offer - all good value and nicely cooked.  The jewel-in-the-crown here are the wonderful staff - everyone is amazing - nothing is too much trouble, and everyone is so friendly and helpful whether Reception or Restaurant/Bar staff.  It's always a dilemma whether to single-out an individual or not,  but we feel we must mention Sammy as she served us on many an occasion during our stay and was simply lovely - but literally everyone of the staff that we met is a real asset to The Manor Hotel - and hopefully Greene King appreciate them as much as we did.
We had a lovely stay in every respect, including weather and would not hesitate to return.  Well done everyone - in these difficult times it was a real pleasure to experience such exemplary customer focus and service.

Came in with a group of friends for some drinks, was served by a lovely lady at the bar named Nicky.
She was very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable.

Great service

We use Green King Inn's quite a lot as most of them take dogs. This was a lovely old manor house and we had a room in the stable block at the back as we needed a ground floor room. Now, really weird, we were in Room 41 which needs to be reorganised. The bedhead was against the shortest wall and had really narrow bedside tables. The bed needs to be turned 90 degrees and you would be able to have proper bedside cupboards. Would have to move the lights and plugs maybe but it would make the room much easier to use. Food and drink was ok although one night, where we had eaten lunchtime, we would have liked a snack in the evening. I had pate but there was nothing for my husband. Good parking & easy to get around the town walking. Again, the staff must have special training from Green King, they were happy, polite & helpful

Lovely lunch today.  3 of us had the small portion lunch and it’s plenty . Had the small portion dessert with a coffee.  Just perfect for a little something sweet.  Staff very friendly and helpful.
