I stay in hotels/apartments every working day of my life throughout the country and this is up there with one of the best. Value for money is brilliant.

Stayed in one of the apartments and parking is on the doorstep. No need to have any communication with anyone, they send you a code for the door, you get in, you leave when it is check out time and away you go. This works for me however I dont doubt for a second that if you needed anything and called the number you are given then they would help straight away.

Apartment is beautiful, modern, well equipped and spotless. The views are second to none. The animals including deer and horses roaming around is a nice change from the city centre hotels.

Four poster bed is comfortable, shower is excellent, TV has Netflix, Youtube etc.

The only slight issue I had was the wifi didnt work on the second day but I didnt spend any time looking into it as I was leaving early. I expect if I had of pulled the modem plug out or something along those lines I could have got it working again but it was a minor blip.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat, excellent.

Absolutely Brilliant

We recently booked all five cottages for a family wedding and were extremely pleased with the high standard of the accommodation in what is a very peaceful setting with stunning views.
All our guests  found the cottages very comfortable and well equipped. The interiors were fabulous and ideal for such a special occasion.  The staff were very friendly and  helpful; nothing was too much trouble. Selecting the Farmyard proved to be an excellent decision.
The nearby Trough restaurant, which is part of the same farm complex, was well used by the guests over the weekend.  It was the perfect location for Sunday lunch for the bridal party and friends; the food was first class.  Lindsey and her staff were most attentive, she has a calm and professional manner and made us feel very much at home.

The Farmyard and Trough.

Lovely escape outside of Yeovil, and the centre is walkable (as long as you don't mind a bit of a hill!) The apartment was stunning, laid out really well with space to work, eat, relax and sleep. The views are stunning and it is enough out of the way to really be anywhere you imagine! the staff were super helpful and allowed me to access early because of train strikes and the apartment had everything you could want. Extremely clever design and an amazing shower and bed. Thank you :-)

Wish I was on holiday and not working!

Booked here for a night as I was meeting friends for Breakfast in the Trough which is 50 yards away. It was lovely - the apartment was split level with a shower room on the left as you went in, then either down to a living area with a kitchenette or up some steps to the sleeping area. 

It was well decorated - although I did hunt around for some drinks mats so as not to mark the table, there were none! And plenty warm enough for a freezing January night. There was a television in both rooms. The bed was a four poster with a firm mattress and very comfortable for me. There was hanging space, draws, a dressing table, fan, iron all provided. 
There was a dressing gown and slippers provided in the bathroom as well as new, white towels and also Noble Isle shampoo etc, a really nice touch. 
There was a coffee maker as well as a kettle in the kitchenette and four pods provided as well as milk, teabags etc. 
All in all everything you could ask for then add on the stunning views over Somerset farmland. In the summer there is a large seating area in front of each of the apartments, which would be a great place to watch the sun go down.

Really great holiday let

Have been here twice now. The first time was fantastic! The 2nd less so. Surprised at some of the difficulties we faced at our 2nd visit including fridge and heating not working. A shame really, given that it such a beautiful place.

Great Location but few problems

From the moment we arrived at this apartment we were made to feel welcome. The staff at the resturant/Farm Shop were the best. I really cannot rate this highly enough. The choice of menu, presentation and quality of food was fantastic,  we stayed for 3 nights and ate at the restaurant at least once a day. The rooms were just perfect, superbly decorated and furnished nothing has been missed, a bath that fits 2 people down to a separate double shower room. The attention to detail even down to the slippers, gown and jug of milk were a great touch. We will definitely return with our friends.

Outstanding in all areas

The apartment was one of 5 available but all of the had cleverly been given the same beautiful view without being overlooked. The interior is very fresh with a modern twist. The apartment has a full, albeit small kitchen (which you can shut away, giving a very relaxed feeling in the lounge. Tv are in both the lounge and bedroom and both rooms benefit from the fantastic, unspoilt natural views. There is a shower room with a huge shower and heated floor. The bedroom has a lovely open feel to it whilst still being private from the rest of the apartment. Overall this is a fantastic place to stay for a day or two weeks. The hosts were extremely helpful and I will definitely be staying again.

Idyllic apartment 

Staying here for 2 nights and the accommodation and location is excellent. Very clean, warm and welcoming. Free WiFi on offer and TVs in bedroom and living area.
Seating is very comfy and kitchen is hidden away which works really well. Good personal touches like blankets so you can sit outside on the terrace enjoying a coffee or glass of wine.

Large walk in shower in a warm bathroom with dressing gowns and slippers provided.

Breakfast available at the Trough a couple of minutes walk away which has great reviews.

Will definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Somerset or for a staycation 

Gorgeous Break

Spent 3 nights in apartment 5, the family apartment. I would highly recommend the farmyard to any family. 

We have a 6 month old and found it to be a very easy and enjoyable experience staying here. It had everything we needed, a lot of time has clearly gone into thinking about what guests may need.  It was really peaceful and relaxing and there was plenty of space for us all. 

The beds were really comfortable and we all had a great nights sleep with amazing views to wake up to.

We ate at the trough cafe at the top of the lane which served a lovely breakfast and amazing cakes.

We would definitely return and stay for longer!!!

Great place to stay 

Just left after enjoying a 1 night stay on the way home from our trip in Cornwall. Really easy smooth check in through a code pad. The farmyard apartments are spacious and have everything you could possibly want and more. Smart Tv, really decent WiFi, generous amounts of sachets for hot drinks, even fresh milk! The apartment was clean, not to mention the lovely bedding & extra comfy bed. As well as a shower and a bath with many little goodies (shampoos, moisturisers etc). And to wake up to the views of the big glass window looking onto the animals & countryside really was the cherry on top. We then headed upto breakfast in the morning to The Trough cafe in which saw the owner who was really friendly and chatty. All in all, a highly recommended location. The scenery around the apartments was lovely, such a nice set up. The only thing we would say is that we were staying for longer because the facilities were fab! Thank you very much!
