We loved our stay. Wonderful location. Lots of free parking,
We were met by a great host, Paul, who was super helpful and got us out of a tight spot booking meals (which we had failed to do prior to our trip).
Room’s are well appointed, very comfy beds, bedding fabulous (pillows a tad too soft for my personal taste).
Breakfast wax delicious, cocktails lush, food very very nice - but a bigger portion size would have been appreciated.
I would stay here again, I felt rested and relaxed as we drove away 

Just what the 2020 doctor ordered.

We stayed here for my sons graduation and were not disappointed.  Mark and Louise are great hosts and went out of their way to accommodate us.  We had two rooms which were both lovely and clean and well decorated.  The breakfast was lovely and tasted like really good local produce.  There is parking at the rear which is really handy and only about 10 minutes in to the city.  The place was lovely and quiet which no noise from the other rooms which was good.   We would definitely stay here again .

Great b and b

We only stayed one night here, although would have loved to stay longer.  Our hosts were great and very hospitable.  The room was comfortable and clean and had all the amenities needed.  Although there are a few rooms, we had a quiet stay and no problems with noise from other rooms.  Breakfast was very good, and we left very satisfied with our stay.

My friend and I stayed 2 nights at Blakeney House. It is a quiet space, there are quite a few rooms, but we didn't hear much from our neighbours.
Our room was nice, not that big, but definitely big enough for the 2 of us. The bathroom was small but efficient. 
There were toiletries and tea and coffee for us to enjoy. It was clean and it looked like it was well cared for. 
Breakfast was good. They had set times for breakfast - which I understand - but it worked out for us.
It was a quick bus ride from downtown York, so it was easy to get back and forth to the city centre. 
There was parking on site in a little parking lot in the back. The stalls were a little small and the area tight - but I'm used to Canadian lots were things are much bigger. 
The owners were lovely and chatted with us and offered us great advice on what to see and where to eat in the city. The showed us the bus stop and told us how to get back and forth from town.
We had a great stay, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice quiet space to spend their nights.

Nice Stay

Stayed at Blakeney House for a weekend,  a really nice b & b, the room was spacious , clean and comfortable, Louise was very welcoming and friendly (didn't meet her partner) which made the weekend much more pleasant. The breakfast was lovely and they even offered a daily special. Easy reach for York city centre. Will happily book a return stay. Thanks Louise.😀

Highly recommend a stay with Mark & Louise.
Very informative of local events and places of interest.
Accommodation of high standard.
Breakfast options were excellent especially the scrambled eggs!
Will be recommending to family and friends.
