We stayed in apartment 18, this beautiful apartment is ideally situated in the center of town. A minute from the Jorvik center, 5 min walk from The Shambles, York Minster, 2 min to York museum and Clifford Castle. Close to lots of restaurants and opposite York Dungeon’s and grand opera house . Lovely historic town. Apartment had 2 bathrooms with separate toilet. Very spacious and quiet. The only downside is if you have a lot of luggage there is no allocated parking. the car park (st George’s) was too far to cart everything so we unloaded everything on side road and then parked car and walked back. Also about 5 min. Parking was £15 per day.

Excellent location, clean quiet

Just perfect 👍🏻 Very nice and spacious holiday apartment with everything you need - also in the kitchen which is not always the case. Located in the centre of York. Very clean and well kept. Easy check in with code for key box. Warm recommendation from a family of four.

Just perfect

The Castle Chambers in the centre of York is a fantastic place to stay. The ease of checking in and checking out with the emailed information is modern and very effective. The apartment was absolutely stunning. Lounge, kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, gorgeous bathroom, comfy bedroom, nice treats on arrival. I loved my stay so much. The only things I would recommend for the future are: 
1. A Full length mirror is needed - I missed that and had to take a mirror off the wall to use which doubled up as a dressing table mirror which is also needed! Mirrors on the walls were placed very high for small people like me! 
2. There were no cleaners visiting during the week; one change of bedding would have been good. There were plenty of towels however. We needed some more toilet roll and bought our own, which was fine, but could be considered as something essential to replenish in the future. 
3. The safes with they keys in are very low down. For older people this would not work. We struggled to open the safe kneeled down for a while until we sussed it out. There is plenty of space to have the safes up on a wall in a cupboard elsewhere.
4. The curtains in the bedroom are not blackout and the room was so light in the morning. Light grey curtains. I needed to use an eye mask to sleep although some people do not need this, like my boyfriend. He did not find this a problem. 
Apart from that I loved the experience. The accommodation is relaxing, roomy, modern, had a lovely welcome pack with crops, brownies, tea and coffee, was clean and crisp, very comfy bed, pillows and duvet, bathroom immaculate with a handy drawer under the sink and cupboard above the sink, ice cubes left for us in the freezer. So impressed. 
If you could look at the points I made for the future it would be even more amazing. Thank you for everything. I will recommend and definitely stay again x

Beautiful Apartment

Great accommodation for the family in a brilliant central location.  Travelling with children it is great to have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with lots of room to spread in the kitchen/diner/living room.  Good info prior to visiting and due to covid no issues to providing my own toiletries.  Washing machine is so handy too.  No issues and highly recommended

Great location, spacious accommodation

Stayed here for the weekend with my wife and 2 children. The apartment was lovely, spacious and clean. Lovely decor, beds were so comfortable. Each bedroom had its own bathroom with shower. It had all the amenities you require, like washing machine, toaster, kettle, cooker etc. The apartment was very secure and safe. It was in a great location, close to the town where all the shops, pubs and restaurants are. We had a brilliant weekend and will almost certainly stay in these apartments again when visiting. 5 star accommodation and personally a lot better than staying in an hotel. 
The only downside for me was it didn’t have parking. You have to use the public car park just down the road which is only a 5 min walk. It costs £13 a day (24 hours).

Lovely apartments 

My family stayed here for the week leading up to our wedding and they loved it. The only possible negative we could find is that it doesn't have Air Con and they stayed during the hottest week on record so it was just chance. I don't expect it will be needed any other time. It was a great stay with a perfect location for everything.

Fab location

Having previously used hotels when visiting York, we opted for a self-catering apartment this time and wish we'd done it sooner - absolutely great! Who needs to cook anyway - we dined out or used takeaway food. Handy to have teabags / sugar and milk, though. Situated in the town centre made it ideal for dropping off shopping, etc. Really great quality apartment too.

York Digs

We recently toured the North of England. My wife is a kee  photographer and I decided e would have 5 nights in York. Been there before but my wife had never been. She is Indonesian. The Apartment was excellent and we couldnt have asked for a better location. York is a magnificent city and I had actually forgot how nice it was after living overseas for 15 years. 
Dont forget your Yorkpass also. 1, 2 or 3 days. Major savings for the attractions. 

1st Class Apartments in York

We stayed in number 16 for 3 nights on our trip to York and found it was in a good central location with everything in walking distance.  The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed - very cosy with the heating on which we used in the evenings.  Our only small criticism would be that there was no plug socket anywhere near a mirror in the bedrooms which was a bit difficult for hair drying and using straighteners but we used the mirror in the lounge to do this. We would recommend the apartments but perhaps take a small extension lead! 

Perfect central accommodation

Beautiful apartment. Went with my husband and father for a short break. Brilliant location as dad is not good walking long distances. Apartment had a lift and we felt very secure. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and spacious.  We had a manual which contained details about how to work all the appliances which were all high end, so thus provided entertainment for half an hour or so.  
The only down side was it was too hot at night but because of how good everything else was it does not justify giving less than top marks.
