We stayed for a one night with kids and grandparents. Seems like they remodeling something and put us in a boomb room with no housekeeping made what looks like for weeks. Pillows old with bumps like mountains and stains on cases. Old dust, exposed outlet!! Spit on the tv and not cleaned, dirty bedspread. I went to pee to find no TP in the bathroom. My husband really did it this time reserving this room. But still this was disrespectful to my family, to pay for something like this, to be welcomed late at night, tired to a room that looked like a dirty garaje. Would not recommend staying here for principle. We did not get money back.

Not cool

Save your money and stay in a box behind mcdonalds. This place is a dump. We had a mouse in our room that nibbled on a banana, and our snacks. We stayed two weeks and they never cleaned our room. We had to go up daily and get towels and ask for service. They always promised to clean our room the next day, but never did. The sheets were dingy, probably bought at a goodwill auction. The bedspreads are probably left over from the 70’s. The hall had something spilled in it that was sticky, for 3 days before they mopped the hall. Somebody threw up outside the back door, on the sidewalk, right in front of the door, and it stayed there a few days. 
It does have new vinyl flooring, but it looks like it was installed by a drunk man. 
For $336.00 a week, i would expect clean sheets at least once a week.

Dont be fooled by the photos

Not sure what type of rat holes some of these reviewers are use to staying at. I have stayed at hotels in 3rd world countries better than this place. No towels in room, broken lock, mold, stains on carpet, queen sheets squeezed on a king bed, dirty hallways. Dirty/stained tub I can go on and on.this place needs shut down.

The website photos look nice, and they try to present themselves as a Marriott, but it is far from that.  They claim to be under new management and renovated, but the only renovation I saw was the lobby. Most of the rooms have not renovated.

Room 202 - The Good:
The beds are clean and comfortable. The room will be jammed full of furniture you will never use. You will have a refrigerator and microwave, but no coffee maker. The shower will have tons of water pressure, so you can take it vantage of the massager. 

The Bad:
The hallway smells like an ashtray. There was more hair on the toilet then I have on my head. The carpets have not been thoroughly cleaned in a long, long time as evidenced by the build up of dirt and beer caps behind the furniture and in the corners. 

Also note, despite booking through a third-party reservation site, they require the credit card used at reservation for check in. If you do not have it, you do not get a room. So if you are on business and your corporate office is booking you the hotel, you are SOL.   No cash payments are accepted.

The place has potential, but I recommend not staying there unless they can guarantee you a renovated room.

Wait until renovations are actually finished

Very nice updates to the hotel. Front desk clerk Rebecca was very nice and extremely helpful. She remained patient with my many requests. Will come back when im in Alabama again. Thanks to all the staff.

My room had been recently updated with new furniture and television. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were warm and clean. Any questions I had for the staff were met with friendliness and punctuality. They were very helpful and accommodating.

Came in for a seminar. Stayed very accommodating and clean. Very close to good eats and shopping. Excellent price. In the heart of Madison. very welcoming of my service dog. Comfy beds great shower pressure.

Great staff

I stayed here 2 months ago and the room was very cozy and the room was very clean . I used to travel for work and I have stayed in many Good and bad places . but over all the staff and the accommodations were top notch in my book. I have booked it again for my aunt Mavis the coming week.  I feel very comfortable recommending this place to friends and family

Outstanding service

shady area, shady guests, and shady rooms. overall very gross. we booked a few night stay because the rates were so low and we couldn't believe what we had to deal with. the room we ended up staying in was an executive suite, cracks in the floor, ants all over the place, giant scratch marks in the jacuzzi (not that i would've trusted it enough to get in), a GIANT window in the main bedroom, headboard was swaying so much that we slept on the other side of the bed just to make sure we weren't crushed in our sleep. slept on a hoodie and refused to walk barefoot. the only upside of the hotel was the friendly staff. i felt bad for every person who worked there and all of the guests. two days in a row there were incidents with the guests that involved the police, which was frightening and disheartening. the hallways were dirty, the signage in the hotel seemed unprofessional, there was no offered complimentary breakfast, half of the lights in our room wouldn't turn on and the other half wouldn't turn off. slept in a half lit room on a bed with sheets that had permanent "personal stains" all over it, woke up to ants all over the floor and tables. wouldn't wish this stay on my worst enemy. it was so bad that we decided after the first night to head to the quality inn down the street and stay there. mediocre hotels felt like luxury after this horrendous stay. i will say that the a/c worked and LaShonda was very polite and welcoming. don't waste your money, it's the cheapest in the area for good reason. i'd rather sleep in a car.
